Planefag quick note. (ADSB database that we use has been down/up lately, not always available when we want to use it.)

  1. Brazil AF BRS01 Airbus flying S over Mexico, presumably going home after a visit. Flight origin is unknown.

In the same image - SPAR35 Gulfstream is flying north past Yucutan, presumably returning from a mission.

  1. BRS01's flight yesterday was from Brazil to, it looks like, a destination in Mexico, that matches where the radar trace picked it up southbound today. The trace is incomplete so we can't determine where it may have landed.

There are some 150-170 military aircraft visible on the radar over CONUS at the moment. That's a bit more than we typically see on a weekday during daylight.

I'm on duty as well. Saw two interesting choppers last evening but was not able to monitor the vast majority of them. One near Patuxent and one near Langley. Most of the ones I checked seemed to be doing routine medevac flights out & back from a hospital.

R7, over.
