Regarding the effects of steel tariffs, I would like to report (anecdotally)that it is overall excellent news at least insofar as commercial structural steel is concerned. The company I use to make all my rebar cages showed me some video of shitty chinese steel rebar, rated 60, that was randomly shattering in their benders.
Chinese steel is utter garbage, carbon content and contamination is all over the map, utter shit tier steel. (The gooks likely do this on purpose in US exports) YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR..
Rebar prices have gone up 25% since November 17, not all of that is the tariffs, (we're in construction overheat mode in CA now) God dammmit we're gonna build cities to rival Shanghai! (and our shit wont fall down)
GOD BLESS TRUMP
