Let me tell you something. I'm an old Navy vet. I was in during most of the 1970s/80s. When my son went in the Marine Corps over ten years ago I was proud of his decision. When I attended his graduation, I knew it would be full of ruffles and flourishes, pomp and circumstance, etc., but I was BLOWN AWAY at how moving it was. I had a lump in my throat the size of a grapefruit and my eyes were wet throughout. The Marines are SECOND TO NONE when it comes to ceremony and moving parade-like events. If you EVER get the chance, DO attend a Marine Corps graduation; they're open to the public. You won't regret it.
Now having said all of this, I can only imagine how GRAND and SPECTACULAR OUR Military Parade on 11.11.18 WILL BE!!!
