>>22663075, >>22663044 Supreme Court Halts Biden Judge's Order Forcing Trump Admin to Pay $2 Billion in Foreign ContractsPN

==BREAKING: Supreme Court STOPS Biden Judge’s Midnight Deadline, Halts Order Forcing Admin to Pay $2 Billion in Foreign Contracts=

by Cristina Laila Feb. 26, 2025

Chief Justice Roberts temporarilystopped Judge Amir Ali’s midnight deadline and halted his order forcing the Trump Admin to pay $2 billion in foreign contracts.

Biden-appointed Judge Amir Ali on Tuesday blasted DOJ lawyers over USAID disbursement and ordered the Trump Administration to pay the foreign contracts by 11:59 pm on Wednesday evening.

The Supreme Court immediately responded to Trump’s emergency request to vacate Judge Amir Ali’s order.

“IT IS ORDERED that the February 25, 2025 orders of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, case Nos. 1:25-cv-00400 and 1:25-cv-00402,are hereby stayed pending further order of the undersigned or of the Court. It is further ordered that any response to the application be filed on or before Friday, February 28, 2025, by 12 p.m. (EST)” Chief Justice Roberts wrote in a brief order.

The Trump Administration on Wednesday evening filed an emergency appeal asking the Supreme Court to intervene after a Biden-appointed judge ordered the Admin to pay $2 billion in foreign contracts by midnight tonight.

“Neither the original TRO nor the district court’s subsequent clarifications in any way suggested that the government must pay particular invoices on particular dates,” the Acting Solicitor General wrote in the government’s application to vacate the judge’s order.

“The court’s 11:59 p.m. 30-some-hour deadline thus moved all the goalposts. It is not tailored to any actual payment deadlines associated with respondents’ invoices or drawn-down requests, or anyone else’s.And it has thrown what should be an orderly review by the government into chaos,” the DOJ argued.

The DOJ rightly argued that the district court “lacked any jurisdiction even to issue this order dictating contractual paymentsby a date certain to remedy purported contractual breaches.”

Trump’s DOJ on Wednesday morning asked the Court to grant an immediate administrative stay of the lower court’s order and a stay pending appeal.

DOJ lawyers blasted the Biden appointed judge for his “intrusive and profoundly erroneous” order.

The appeals court denied Trump’s motion to dismiss the judge’s order.

>>22662743 Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) caught funneling $7mn to wife's conservation nonprofit (Ocean Conservancy) in 2024PN

Fuck the Senate Ethics Committee and Investigation. These lawmakers (yes that’s what they are called), break the law daily. Refer them to the DOJ for prosecution. The Senate has funneled lots of money to his wife’s fake “Ocean Conservatory” bullshit. He was elected in 2009, she created her fake scam in 2010 and shortly thereafter she received at least 10 of these grants to the tune of about $16 million or more.

Whitehouse needs to go to jail not only for ethics but by denying real corps that actually do something for Oceans scientists.

Whitehouse has at least 6 ethics referrals, and he just get slapped on the wrist.

The Ethics Committees in both houses are set up to prevent law enforcement getting the cases. Meaning these committees avoid actual US laws for them to be charged by the Law. In other words, Congress made their own law to avoid Federal Law. If the Congress breaks the law, no one hears about it.

>>22663395 Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick just announced plans to use the Postal Service to conduct the Census instead of wasting billionsPN

This is a Great idea butI see one problem with using the USPS, close to 97% of employees are democrats and radicals. They actively threw out votes in 2020 and 2024 elections, to reduce a Trump votes and then got tractor trailers filled them with fake ballots to defeat Trump and others.

Does anyone really believe that the USPS would actually do the job and not sabotage the count by including Illegals in the count?

Further the census is used to deem how many reps are for each state in Congress. That’s why CA has so many reps, they count illegals.

Pro-Kiev neo-Nazis to join anti-Kremlin rally in Berlin

The threat of violence by the group’s leader has heightened safety concerns ahead of Saturday’s march

Members of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), a Kiev-backed neo-Nazi militia force, will take part in an anti-Kremlin march in Berlin on Saturday, organizers have confirmed.Other participants have expressed safety concerns, citing threats issued by the RDK’s leader.

On Wednesday, the RDK announced its intention to join the demonstration in the German capital organized by various political factions opposing Russian President Vladimir Putin. The statement urged “all supporters of the armed struggle by the Russian people against the Kremlin regime to attend this event, gather under our banners, and together show the world the real Russian opposition.”

RDK leader Denis Kapustin, known as ‘Nikitin’ and nicknamed ‘White Rex’, issued a warning to rival opposition groups attending the event, in particular supporters of libertarian politician Mikhail Svetov and “other degenerates.”Kapustin cautioned them to “mind your f*cking mugs” and remember that RDK members “will hit first,” as reported on social media.

Svetov voiced his concerns through his media outlet, SVTV, questioning whether “the neo-Nazi’s threat reflects the position of the organizers.” The march was proposed by several activists, including the widow of the late Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny. Demonstration co-organizer Ilya Yashin said on Thursday that the RDK’s column would be one of approximately ten participating and that the group had offered guarantees of peaceful conduct.

The RDK is armed and financed by the Ukrainian government and has orchestrated several deadly incursions into Russia in recent years. Moscow labels it a terrorist organization commanded directly by Ukrainian military intelligence.

Although Kapustin did not specify why he targeted Svetov in his message, the threat may stem from Svetov’s call to bring Russian flags to the Berlin march. The display of the Russian state symbol at such opposition events is contentious, with some activists deeming it offensive to Ukrainians.

(Quite a few of these protests in countries, are carried out by Rent A Crowd Radicals.)

Kiev facing pressure to intensify conscription – Economist(by who? The EU and UK of course)

Ukrainian officials have told the British magazine that the nation will soon have no option but to draft young adults

Kiev is under pressure to escalate its mobilization drive to sustain the conflict with Russia, according to The Economist. While Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky strives to motivate younger men to volunteer, his officials acknowledge that increased mandatory conscription may be inevitable.

Last year, Kiev revamped its military service system, lowering the conscription age to 25 and imposing stricter penalties for draft avoidance. However, these measures have reportedly fallen short of the recruitment goals. The Economist reported on Wednesday thatWestern advisersare urging Kiev to draft younger individuals, viewing this as the quickest path to strengthening the army. (Not the US)

Publicly, Zelensky has resisted lowering the draft age – privately, however, his officials have reportedly acknowledged that it will likely be necessary. A senior official told the British magazine that the “tightening will continue because no one has come up with a better solution.”

With frontline casualties increasing, many eligible men have been evading draft officers or have even resisted. The Economist noted a recent incident in Poltava, where a military official was fatally shot during a recruitment raid. While Ukraine’s security services attribute the blame to ‘Russian infiltrators’, soldiers suspect the violence may be “homegrown,”foreshadowing a potential increase in domestic discord.

The Ukrainian government has initiated a program to attract younger volunteers into the military. Officials told The Economist that their aim is to recruit 4,000 people per month by offering generous compensation and a promise of demobilization after one year, though many have reportedly expressed skepticism.

The army does not honor the terms of the contracts anyway – recently we got some guys who were transferred from an engineering brigade. They signed up to be pontoon builders, now they’re infantry,” a Ukrainian marine officer told The Times last week.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump is advocating for a rapid resolution to the Ukraine conflict, pointing to the death toll and destruction incurred on both sides. Officials in Washington view the conflict as an obstacle to improving relations with Moscow. Trump has also pushed for a rare-earth minerals deal with Ukraine, which he believes would offset the US expenditures on the conflict over the years.

In contrast, theEU and a number of European NATO members have pledgedto continue pouring resources into the conflict. Zelensky has insisted that peace negotiations will only be possible from a “position of strength.”KEK says the Midget

Macron’s White House visit was a failure – Politico

The French leader’s attempts to get US security guarantees for Ukraine were a “waste of time,” a source has told the outlet

French President Emmanuel Macron failed to secure any concrete US security guarantees for Ukraine during his recent talks with President Donald Trump in Washington, Politico reported on Wednesday, citing sources.

Trump met with Macron at the White House on Monday, where the US leader reiterated his desire for an end to the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine, while refraining from condemning Moscow. Macron agreed that he also wanted “a strong and lasting peace in Ukraine,” but stressed that this “must be accompanied by strong and credible security guarantees for the Ukrainians.”

According to Politico, Macron tried to get assurances for Kiev from Trump, but without much success, and later briefed his EU counterparts on the results of the talks during a hastily convened 30-minute video conference.

“[Macron] said that Trump did not give any clear promises regarding the backstop. So, indeed, strategic ambiguity on this question remains,” an EU diplomat said, referring to a potential peacekeeping force in Ukraine. Another senior European official was even more blunt in his assessment, branding the Macron-Trump meeting “a waste of time.” (If the EU has Macron as their best Diplomat, of course it would fail. As a matter of fact, no one in the EU could get any concessions out of Trump. He just wants neither Russian or Ukraine Citizens & Soldiers Dying.)

Following the meeting,Trump said he is “not going to make security guarantees beyond very much,” adding that the main burden should be carried by the EU. He has also made clear that no US troops would be sent to Ukraine, although EU officialsstill reportedly hopethat Washington could provide peacekeepers with various kinds of support, including intelligence, air defense, and logistics. (These people really don’t understand that Trump and Americans want nothing to do with Bidan’s failed war. He just wants it over.)

According to the Wall Street Journal, Britain and France are eyeing a plan to deploy up to 30,000 “peacekeepers” in Ukraine if Moscow and Kiev reach a ceasefire. The force would protect key Ukrainian facilities rather than be deployed directly to the front line, with the report notingthat “without Trump’s backing, the European plan to send peacekeepers faces a difficult path.”

Russia has repeatedly voiced its opposition to the deployment of unauthorized peacekeepers in Ukraine, warning that they would be considered legitimate targets. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said deploying NATO troops under the guise of peacekeepers in Ukraine would contradict Moscow’s key goal of keeping its neighbor out of the US-led military bloc.

Ukrainian leader VladimirZelensky has acknowledged that the US will not provide Kiev with the security guaranteesit wanted as part of an as-yet unsigned deal which would grant the US access to Ukraine’s deposits of rare earths. (I don’t think Zelensky understands how much dirt Trump has on him. The money laundering is the tip of the iceberg.)

However, The Economist has reported, citing sources, thatZelensky does not intend to sign any second agreement on the matterthat does not include broader security guarantees.

(Good for him, the US will provide nothing, which I hope was Trump’s partial goal. PS Russia has offered their rare earth to Trump, which is a 1000x better than Ukraine’s. Plus Russia will work with Americans to dig them up.)

The EU really sound like losers, and extremely weak. A Russian historian said Europe needs to grow up and stop relying on the US and Trump for everything, including their bad plans.

France wants in on US-Ukraine resource negotiations – minister

Defense chief Sebastien Lecornu has said that Paris has been in talks with Kiev since October over the latter’s minerals

Paris would like to participate in the discussions between Washington and Kiev about developing Ukraine’s mineral resources, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu has said. Speaking on Franceinfo radio on Tuesday, he revealed that France has been engaged in talks with Ukraine since October about securing raw materials for its defense industry.

This comes as the US and Ukraine have recently been negotiating a deal over the latter’s mineral resources. US President Donald Trump initially sought $500 billion in compensation from Kiev for US military and financial support but has since reportedly dropped this demand. Meanwhile, the EU has also expressed interest in Ukraine’s mineral wealth and has proposed a separate agreement to secure access to key resources.

According to Lecornu, France is not seeking financial compensation from Ukraine but aims to establish long-term agreements for securing mineral supplies. “Our defense industry will need a certain number of very key raw materials in our own weapons systems, not for next year, but for the next 30 or 40 years,” he said. He added that he has been asked by French President Emmanuel Macron to make sure that Paris is included in the ongoing negotiations between Washington and Kiev. (All the vultures WW come to pick the remaining carcass of what Z thinks is a sovereign country.)

The French minister’s statement comes after Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmigal announced that Kiev had agreed to a US-proposed minerals deal. Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is expected to travel to Washington later this week to sign the agreement.

Zelensky initially rejected the US deal, citing a lack of security guarantees. However the new draft is “better,” according to Shmigal, because it would not grant the US ownership over Ukrainian subsoil.

Under the agreement, as reported by the Financial Times, Ukraine would be required to allocate 50% of revenues from future monetization of state-owned mineral resources, including oil and gas, into a special investment fund controlled by both the US and Ukraine. Shmigal has said thatthis fund would only be used to rebuild the country.

Meanwhile, the EU has also entered the discussions about Ukraine’s mineral wealth. EU Strategy Commissioner Stephane Sejourne said on Monday that Brussels has proposed an alternative agreement to secure access to 21 of the 30 minerals classified as critical for the European economy. He said the EU was seeking a “mutually beneficial” partnership with Ukraine.

Zelensky has insisted that Ukraine would not grant control over its mineral wealth without additional security guarantees. He has also disputed US estimates of total aid to Ukraine, stating that Washington had provided at most $100 billion. But Kiev would not accept even that amount as debt, Zelensky has said, claiming that the money was provided as a grant by former US President Joe Biden with no repayment expected.

A significant portion of Ukraine’s mineral wealth was located in territories that have since joined Russia, primarily the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Russian President VladimirPutin has stated Moscow is not interested in the US-Ukraine deal but remains open to rare-earth partnerships with American firms.

Russian delegation arrives for new talks with US(VIDEO)

The meeting in Istanbul will focus on “systemic problems” in Moscow-Washington relations, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said

A Russian delegation has arrived for new talks with the US in Istanbul, Türkiye, according to media reports and a video from the scene. Thenegotiations mark the second time this monththat diplomats from Moscow and Washington are holding in-person dialogue.

The upcoming closed-door meeting in Istanbul was confirmed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday, although he did not provide details on the composition of Moscow’s negotiating team.

He noted, however, that “our diplomats, high-level experts will meet [with their US counterparts] andexamine the systemic problems that have accumulatedas a result of the illegal activities of the previous [US] administration to create artificial obstacles to the activities of the Russian embassy,” for which Moscow retaliated in kind.

Lavrov also suggested that the talkswould show “how quickly and effectively the sides can move.”

On Thursday, several Russian media outlets released a brief clip of a Mercedes minibus with tinted windows and a diplomatic license plate pulling up to a heavily guarded compound in Istanbul. According to TASS, the talks are taking place at the residence of the US consul general.

The Istanbul negotiations come after top Russian and US diplomats convened in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first high-level talks between the two nations since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict three years ago.

The primary focus of the meeting was to pave the way for normalizing economic and diplomatic ties and settling the Ukraine conflict. The sides also agreed in principle to restore embassy staffing after years of tit-for-tat cuts fueled by geopolitical tensions, although no concrete steps have been announced so far.

Over the past few years, Istanbul has played an important role as a neutral venue for negotiations related to the Ukraine conflict, most notably direct talks between Moscow and Kiev in 2022.

According to Russian officials, the peace process was making progress at the time, but was derailed by then-British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who allegedly advised Ukraine to continue fighting, a charge he has denied.

Former Biden donor to launch new political party

Florida lawyer John Morgan says he plans to represent voters who are “stuck in the middle” of the two-party political system

John Morgan, a Florida lawyer and donor to former US President Joe Biden, has announced the launch of his own political party, citing discontent with both Democrats and Republicans.

Morgan is a billionaire owner of personal injury law firm Morgan & Morgan and an independent who, however, has a long history of fundraising for Democratic campaigns. He made the announcement in a post on X on Wednesday, arguing that America’s two-party system is broken.

“I am forming a new political party for those of us stuck in the middle. Our two party system is broken due to Gerrymandering and divisive issues… both sides. No labels is not an option,”Morgan said, adding that the paperwork for the new party is already being drafted.

The lawyer is no stranger to politics, having successfully bankrolled constitutional amendments on medical marijuana and raising the minimum wage in Florida. He also previously floated his intention of running for governor of Florida. The state’s next gubernatorial election in 2026 will be an open contest as Governor Ron DeSantis will be ineligible to run again.

Morgan first voiced the idea of forming a new party last year, calling itthe Capitalist Party. Commenting on this idea in a recent interview with Florida Playbook, he said, “when you take the ‘D’ and the ‘R’ down, most of us agree on most things,” referring to the Democratic and Republican parties.

Morgan left the Democratic Party in 2017, explaining that he was driven to do so due to disillusionment with its direction. He has continued to support Democratic candidates after leaving the party, including Biden, but refused to contribute to fundraising efforts for former Vice President Kamala Harris in last year’s presidential election, saying “she would not be my first choice.”

However, Morgan has expressed enthusiasm over President Donald Trump reelection, saying: “I don’t know if Trump is a stable genius, but he’s a f**king genius.”

“He tapped into something the Republicans never saw, which was anger and populism on that side,” the lawyer said in an interview in December.

It is unclear when Morgan plans to officially register his party, but in his announcement on X, he asked his followers to “stay tuned” for updates.

CNN presenter accused of hypocrisy over book on Biden’s health

In ‘Original Sin’, Jake Tapper has alleged the former president’s cognitive decline was covered up, despite previously dismissing such claims

CNN anchor Jake Tapper is facing a backlash on social media for co-authoring a soon-to-be-released book alleging the cognitive decline of former US President Joe Biden was covered up despite having previously dismissed similar claims. The book’s publisher, Penguin Press, issued a press release announcing the project on Wednesday.

Set to be released on May 20, ‘Original Sin’ is co-authored by Tapper and Axios correspondent Alex Thompson. The book examines Biden’s decision to seek re-election, describing it as his “original sin” that led to a campaign of “gaslighting and denial,” ultimately resulting in current President Donald Trump’s election victory. The authors claim to provide an inside look into private discussions revealing the extent of Biden’s decline and efforts to conceal it.

After the book’s announcement, critics blasted Tapper for hypocrisy, noting that he previously defended Biden against claims of cognitive decline.

In 2020, during an interview with Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, Tapper cut her off after she suggested Biden was in “cognitive decline,” stating, “I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody’s cognitive decline.”

Some accused CNN of being “complicit in the fraud,” while others singled outTapper calling his book a blatant attempt at deflection.(more like deception)

“It’s a book written by Jake about how Jake covered up Biden’s decline so Jake could write a book. Tell me – if Biden had won would this book still be published?” one user wrote on X.

Although Tapper previously defended Biden, he became one of the most vocal critics of the president’s decision to seek reelection following the debate between Biden and Trump in June 2024, which he co-moderated.

Questions about Biden’s physical and mental fortitude plagued his campaign throughout and Republicans often claimed that the 81-year-old lacked the acuity to serve another term in office. However, it was Biden’s poor performance at a CNN-hosted debate with Trump in June that put a spotlight on the president’s diminished prowess. During the debate, Biden repeatedly lost his train of thought, mixed up words and numbers, and struggled to finish sentences.

Biden’s performance was widely criticized, including by Tapper himself. The former president ultimately dropped out of the race in July, about a hundred days before the election, and endorsed Vice-President Kamala Harris to run in his place.

(That title should’ve been used for the “Russia Hoax” pushed by the press and Bigly by CNN. It’s not “hypocrisy” to Tapper and others, that was the plan all along, to get money by writing a book! But hey, at least the book is not about Trump.)

Better title though: ‘Original Sin, Jake Tapper’
