Things in Minnesota get more bizarre by the day, if that's possible at this point.

Inmates in men’s prison provided with women’s undergarments, mascara, and packing device.

According to the recent list, men are allowed to wear “women’s undergarments.” The document also says some men are allowed access to hairspray, mascara, and women’s shoes.

One inmate is provided with a “packing device.” An insider told Alpha News “the fact this is allowed at a biological men’s prison in Minnesota blows my mind.”

“Unfortunately, what’s happening is that individuals’ feelings trump reality. So, men who feel that they are a woman can go into these places and ask for ridiculous accommodations and the prisoners and the staff are supposed to go along with the males’ fantasies. I find that appalling,” Rep. Franson said.

The DOC said the accommodations are provided for under the department’s policies on transgender inmates.

“There was more discussion on how to treat the men in the women’s facility rather than actually being able to [ask], how do the women in the prison feel, whether or not they are a prisoner or if they are an employee? Those feelings were not taken into consideration,” Franson said.

“There were no townhall meetings where the citizens of the communities could weigh in on this radical change. Instead, the women were told to just suck it up and move over because your spaces now belong to men,” she said.

Given DOGE's mandate to enhance governmental efficiency and your recent insights into federal data discrepancies, we urge you to extend your investigative rigor to the nation's voter registration systems. This initiative would not only bolster public confidence in our electoral processes but also ensure that electoral outcomes accurately reflect the will of the electorate.​

Trump pauses tariffs for some Canadian and Mexican goods.

The one-month exemption will lift tariffs for all Canadian and Mexican goods compliant with United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA, a free trade agreement.

Officials said roughly 50% of imports from Mexico comply with USMCA, and 38% of imports from Canada comply with USMCA. Motor vehicles and auto accessories make up a good portion of the of USMCA-compliant trade, the officials added.

Despite pausing tariffs on a large number of goods from Canada and Mexico, Trump said on Thursday afternoon he is still sticking with his plan to issue tariffs on foreign steel and aluminum products starting next week.

"We're not looking at that," he said at the White House when asked about a pause on those tariffs.

The easing of tariffs on some Mexican goods came after a conversation between Trump and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

"Our relationship has been a very good one, and we are working hard, together, on the Border, both in terms of stopping Illegal Aliens from entering the United States and, likewise, stopping Fentanyl. Thank you to President Sheinbaum for your hard work and cooperation!" Trump said.

Minutes later, Sheinbaum reciprocated in similar fashion.

"We had an excellent and respectful call in which we agreed that our work and collaboration have yielded unprecedented results, within the framework of respect for our sovereignties," Sheinbaum said in a post on X.

Trump made the announcement soon after Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said a one-month delay of tariffs on Mexico and Canada would likely apply to all products compliant with the USMCA.

Trafficking fears as Haiti children go missing

Trafficking networks were springing into action immediately after the disaster and taking advantage of the weakness of

local authorities and relief coordination "to kidnap children and get them out of the country".

Rupert Colville, a spokesman for the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, said child enslavement and

trafficking in Haiti was "an existing problem and could easily emerge as a serious issue over the coming weeks and months".

The UN mission in Haiti has stepped up surveillance of roads, UNICEF officials said.

Mr Legrand said there was separate but only anecdotal evidence of people taking children by road to the neighbouring

Dominican Republic and loading children on to planes.

"We have seen over the past years many children being taken out of the country without any legal procedure," he said.

"This is going on. This is happening now. We are starting to have the first evidence of that, this is unquestionable."

He was unable to give details on the 15 missing children or their condition or clearly connect the anecdotal observations

in Haiti's chaos with trafficking.

The cases were documented by social workers and by partner non-governmental organisations working for UNICEF in hospitals.
