And the US isnt producing anywhere near enough anthracite to resmelt all imported Chinese steel because EPA/muh climate/muh fossil fuels.
You’d have to reopen the anthracite mines. Put retired miners back to work. Get the now jobless Appalachian miners off fentanyl. Teach a new generation into the hard work of mining.
Doable —but start now by calling it good clean coal, and dropping out of the Paris climate accords, and getting digital soldiers to meme Greta thunberg into irrelevancy. Then close the borders to stop the fentanyl flow.
