I've wondered this. ai was in development for years and years before it entered the public conversation. it was my experience that industrial grade machine learning was available at least a decade ago. there's really no telling how much further advanced a military grade distemper could/would be given an extra decade in development – but i see how rapidly "free consumer grade" llms grown in the last two or three years.

 

that's the funniest/scariest part of pseudoanonymous boards. anyone could just be a glorified script.

i think that's an unfair assumption, and it makes it sound like you're overly confident about something which you have no way of knowing.

 

"that could never happen" sputtering is how we get caught up in (sometimes) avoidable messes

 

maybe just consider the possibility without dismissing it or if hand, and wonder what could happen.
