Since the beginning of this board, when 8bit set it up in January 2018, the board log has been available to view. This was done in the interests of transparency.

Most of this discussion is aimed at anons not shills. Answered in case there are anons who have similar unvoiced questions.
Re Ron on security:
from what I can tell, it's still Jim who is doing things on a day to day basis. When I've previously inquired about persistent shills (Vati), says there's nothing that can be done on the Global level unless material is clearly illegal. That aligns with the idea that this is an open site when most of the rules exist at a board level (not a site level).
Site admins do a lot to protect the board from many threats but cannot do everything. Why the option exists to limit Board Log access.
Posting the board log is both abusive and intrusive, not just to one person (BO) but to all admins, including GVs. These are personal attacks that need to stop, one way or the other.
You are not specifying what you mean by "fucking with the board." If you have a concern about anything administrative, plz post it on Meta.
I just turned OFF access to Board Log for the present.
