I'm sorry that an Alex Jones reporter was gunned down.

I say that as someone who's survived multiple attempts on my own life.

Putin may well stick to previous demands over Ukrainian elections and a rejection of European peacekeeping forces (Wait a minute, no one brought up Ukraine elections, and Trump and the US is against Peacekeeping forces, they already start out with misinformation.)

 

Suddenly the ball is in Russia’s court. The flow of US intelligence and military aid to Ukraine is to resume – and the Kremlin is being asked to agree to a 30-day ceasefire that Kyiv has already told the Americans it will sign up to.

It is a dizzying turnaround from the Oval Office row between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump and the apparent abandonment of the White House’s strategy to simply pressurise Ukraine into agreeing to a peace deal. Now, for the first time, Russia is being asked to make a commitment, though it is unclear what will follow if it does sign up.

 

Announcing the peace proposal in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, said that he hoped Russia would accept a peace agreement “so we can get to the second phase of this, which is real negotiations”. That may leave plenty of room for interpretation. Russia has also been pushing for a ceasefire, though the Kremlin had wanted that to be followed by elections in Ukraine, before any full negotiation about territory and Kyiv’s future security.

 

Ukraine, meanwhile, will want strong security guarantees to avoid a resumption of the war, involving European peacekeepers on the ground, which Russia has so far said it is against. An open question, perhaps, is whether peacekeepers could enter Ukraine during a ceasefire period, but this is speculative.

 

Until Tuesday’s discussions between US and Ukrainian delegations bore fruit, the battlefield dynamics did not appear to favour a ceasefire. Ukraine’s decision to launch a drone attack into Russia on Monday night was a clear demonstration that its military capacity had not yet been significantly dented by the pause in supply of US military intelligence. It was also an aggressive effort to put pressure on Moscow to agree a peace. (That’s bullshit again, they attacked to try to get the talks off track, or trigger a Russia retaliation, where does this guy get his info that he can assume to know why Ukraine killed 3 and hurt 20 people in Russia?)

A handful of residential buildings were visibly damaged, though not too seriously. Moscow’s regional governor said that two people had been killed at a car park near a meat processing plant in Domodedovo, 5 miles from an airport. Fragments of a drone hit the ground, setting fire to cars shortly after 5am, Andrei Vorobyov wrote on his Telegram channel. Later, it was reported that a third man had died.

 

Striking at civilian targets is never attractive, though the images were not dissimilar to those of Ukrainian cities hit nightly by Russian bombing over the past three years. Russia has also been increasing the scale of its drone attacks recently – on Monday it launched 126 Shahed drones, as well as other, decoy drones, into Ukraine, alongside a ballistic missile.

Trump versus Biden’s speeches to Congress

Fixing problems instead of managing decay

 

President Trump’s first address of his term before a joint session of Congress was a speech for the ages.

 

As our 45th and 47th president articulated his optimistic vision for the future while showcasing American exceptionalism throughout his remarks, pathetic congressional Democrats sat on their hands in deranged opposition regardless of the topic. The radical left achieved a new low for all the world to see, and it confirmed the president’s belief that these Democrats have no interest in helping him save America and will oppose everything he says out of pure hatred.

 

Coincidentally, exactly one year ago, President Biden managed to make it through what was thankfully his final State of the Union address. He spent that evening raising his voice, attempting to make the point that the “new normal” he created with his awful policies was acceptable. In his clueless way, Mr. Biden essentially told the American people that inflation wasn’t that bad, our cities were thriving, the exploding national debt wasn’t a concern, open borders were a good thing, climate change was more important than anything else, and regarding Ukraine, his forever war policy was “as long as it takes.” Eight months and 77 million Trump voters later, the Biden-Harris regime was sent packing.

 

Mr. Trump, the historic change agent, was reelected when our country desperately needed consequential reform across the board, and that is exactly what he is delivering.

 

In less than 50 days, this president has sealed the border at hyper speed, is discussing a path to peace directly with Russia and Ukraine, has banned men from competing in women’s sports and has hired Elon Musk and the new Department of Government Efficiency to root out wasteful government spending, to name just a few items.

 

Mr. Trump’s efforts are propelled by common sense: Security is essential for a successful country, surpluses are better than deficits, and peace is preferable to war — and less expensive.

 

Mr. Trump’s “America First” agenda is focused on enacting innovative solutions and, by doing so, confronting the broken status quo in Washington. For far too long, the Washington establishment, aka “the uniparty,” has purposefully ignored major glaring problems because of the most cowardly form of political expediency imaginable. From our $36 trillion national debt to suffocating inflation, to the unchecked swamp and federal bureaucracy, to exorbitant taxes and regulations, to open borders, to our failing education system, hardworking families have had a bellyful and deserve far better, and the Trump administration is finally saying, “We’ve got your back.”

 

Mr. Trump is a man of action, and the entrenched power structure in Washington isn’t taking the change that’s in the air very well. Career politicians and elitists favor kicking the can down the road. It was never going to be easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is.

 

This president has accomplished big things in his career and has taken that mindset back to the White House to implement the meaningful, lasting, bold changes that the American people have been waiting for. Polling indicates that Americans are in the mood for dramatic reform to a federal government and bureaucracy that has become sinfully bloated, ineffective, out of touch and opaque. Seventy percent agree that government spending is “filled with waste, fraud and inefficiency,” and 69% “support the goal of cutting $1 trillion of government expenditures.” These are ample reasons to be hopeful.

 

Congressional Democrats and left-wing state and local politicians alike have made the choice to oppose Mr. Trump’s agenda that will fix problems instead of manage decay. …

This position is fraught with peril as even the casual observer understands that America needs a comprehensive change in direction. Look no further than “right track/wrong track” polling data from Mr. Biden’s last month in office; one poll indicated that only 19% thought we were on the right track. from what I can tell, it's still Jim who is doing things on a day to day basis. When I've previously inquired about persistent shills (Vati), says there's nothing that can be done on the Global level unless material is clearly illegal. That aligns with the idea that this is an open site when most of the rules exist at a board level (not a site level).

 

Site admins do a lot to protect the board from many threats but cannot do everything. Why the option exists to limit Board Log access.

WARSAW, March 11 (Reuters) - Polish border guards detained a Ukrainian woman who was sentenced in Kazakhstan to 12 years in prison for participating in an organised criminal group trading in human organs and selling 56 kidneys, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old woman, referred to only as Ksenia P. under Polish privacy laws, was detained at a railway crossing between Poland and Ukraine under an Interpol red notice, Marta Petkowska, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor's office in Przemysl, said in a statement.

The prosecutors didn't say why the woman wasn't in prison in Kazakhstan at the time she was detained at the crossing or when she was convicted.

She has been wanted by Interpol since November 2020, prosecutors said. An Interpol red notice is a request to global law enforcement to provisionally arrest a person pending extradition or similar legal action.

The woman was convicted for participation in an international organised criminal group that illegally collected tissues and organs from people from 2017 to 2019 and sold them on the black market, Petkowska added.

Subject: Ensuring the Enforcement of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(c)

 

In recent weeks, activist organizations fueled by hundreds of millions of dollars in donations and sometimes even Government grants have obtained sweeping injunctions far beyond the scope of relief contemplated by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, functionally inserting themselves into the executive policy making process and therefore undermining the democratic process.

 

This anti-democratic takeover is orchestrated by forum-shopping organizations that repeatedly bring meritless suits, used for fundraising and political grandstanding, without any repercussions when they fail. Taxpayers are forced not only to cover the costs of their antics when funding and hiring decisions are enjoined, but must needlessly wait for Government policies they voted for. Moreover, this situation results in the Department of Justice, the Nation’s chief law enforcement agency, dedicating substantial resources to fighting frivolous suits instead of defending public safety.

 

The effective administration of justice in the Federal courts depends on mechanisms that deter frivolous litigation, protect parties from unwarranted costs, and streamline judicial processes. One key mechanism is Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(c) (Rule 65(c)), which mandates that a party seeking a preliminary injunction or temporary restraining order (injunction) provide security in an amount that the court considers proper to cover potential costs and damages to the enjoined or restrained party if the injunction is wrongly issued. Consistent enforcement of this rule is critical to ensuring that taxpayers do not foot the bill for costs or damages caused by wrongly issued preliminary relief by activist judges and to achieving the effective administration of justice.

 

Therefore, it is the policy of the United States to demand that parties seeking injunctions against the Federal Government must cover the costs and damages incurred if the Government is ultimately found to have been wrongfully enjoined or restrained. Federal courts should hold litigants accountable for their misrepresentations and ill-granted injunctions.

 

Consistent with applicable law, the heads of executive departments and agencies (agencies), in consultation with the Attorney General, are directed to ensure that their respective agencies properly request under Rule 65(c) that Federal district courts require plaintiffs to post security equal to the Federal Government’s potential costs and damages from a wrongly issued injunction. The scope of this directive covers all lawsuits filed against the Federal Government seeking an injunction where agencies can show expected monetary damages or costs from the requested preliminary relief, unless extraordinary circumstances justify an exception.

 

In requests for security under Rule 65(c), agencies shall include, among other things, that:

 

(a) Rule 65(c) mandates the court to require, in all applicable cases, that a movant for an injunction post security in an amount that the court considers proper to cover potential costs and damages to the enjoined or restrained party;

 

(b) the security amount the agency is requesting is based on a reasoned assessment of the potential harm to the enjoined or restrained party; and

 

(c) failure of the party that moved for preliminary relief to comply with Rule 65(c) results in denial or dissolution of the requested injunctive relief.

 

This memorandum is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Maui Police Chief John Pelletier is fiercely denying allegations that he was involved in a cover up linked to Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In a nearly 90 page civil lawsuit filed by Ashley Parham and two unnamed individuals, Pelletier is accused of being hired as security for Combs in 2018.

The suit claims that Pelletier, who at the time was a Las Vegas police captain, posed as a Sheriff deputy in California and responded to an alleged gang rape involving Combs.

The alleged victim claims that Pelletier instructed her to go home and offered no help or medical care.

The woman claims Pelletier gave an envelope to a neighbor, which she believed to be full of cash.

She claims Pelletier later took her and another plaintiff at gunpoint to his home, restrained them, refused to let them call an attorney and made various moves to cover up the kidnapping.

The Maui Police department said in a statement:

“Chief Pelletier has no connections whatsoever to any individuals named in the lawsuit. The allegations suggesting his involvement are entirely unfounded. We are confident that the evidence will demonstrate these claims to be false and will expose those who are deliberately trying to manipulate the legal system to spread misleading narratives.

“In 2018, while serving as a Captain in Las Vegas, Chief Pelletier was honored by the Rape Crisis Center for his exceptional leadership and commitment to community safety, specifically through his role as a champion of the Stay S.A.F.E. program dedicated to sexual assault prevention.

“These baseless allegations not only harm Chief Pelletier but also show a lack of respect for victims of abuse, whose voices deserve to be heard and supported with compassion and integrity.”

In a statement, Maui County Mayor Richard Bissen requested that the Maui County Police Commission put Pelletier on administrative leave while the investigation remains ongoing.

The statement reads the following.

“On March 7, 2025, and was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in the case of Ashley Parham v. Sean Combs (Case No. 3:24-cv-07191-RFL).

“This amendment includes multiple new defendants, one of whom is Maui Police Chief John Pelletier.

“The original complaint, filed on October 15, 2024, did not name Chief Pelletier.

“While the allegations in the amended complaint remain unproven, they are serious in nature and involve claims of alleged criminal conduct.

“As with any such legal matter, due process must be observed, but the existence of these allegations alone presents concerns regarding public trust and the effective functioning of the department.

“There is precedent within the County of Maui government for placing appointed officials on leave while allegations against them are investigated.

Pence grinned sheepishly, saying any relationship with minors was as a mentor, father figure, guiding disenfranchised kids toward a prosperous life. He teetered on his tiptoes, telling Adm. Reynolds she had been deceived by President Trump’s lies, falsehoods aimed at finally silencing Pence. He shook his shackled hands as if he were the Ghost of Christmas Past in Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, pronouncing his innocence and condemning JAG and the Office of Military Commissions for separating him from his beloved family.

 

“I never knowingly hurt anybody,” Pence wailed woefully. “Free me, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure none of you see the cell I’ve lived in, as long as you renounce Donald Trump. He’s a goner, but it’s not too late for you, you, you, and you,” Pence uttered, pointing at the admiral and three panelists.

 

Adm. Reynolds gave a slow clap of her hands and walked toward Pence at the defense table. “Bravo. My predecessors told me to expect theatrically, and you don’t disappoint. If you’d do me the honor of taking the stand to defend yourself, that’d be fantastic; otherwise, close your mouth and be quiet and shut up.”

 

At that moment, Pence began convulsing, foaming at the mouth and placing his cuffed hands over his chest as though he were suffering from a myocardial infarction. Spittle dripped from his lips, and his head flopped from side to side.

 

“Nice try,” the admiral said. “I was told that behavior’s been commonplace here.”

 

Pence still had the jitters. “I’m not me, I’m not me,” he said, his body atremble.

 

Admiral Reynolds abandoned courtroom decorum and shoved in Pence’s face a photograph of his tiny phallus hovering over a child’s mouth, and a letter he had written to Chuck Schumer saying that he, Pence, would be the heir to Trump’s throne if Trump “unfortunately” died or disappeared.

 

“I don’t know anything about that,” Pence said.

 

“Well, that’s not what it says here,” the admiral said, tapping her finger against the document.

 

“Don’t you understand,” Pence said, quivering, “it wasn’t me.”

 

“Defendant Pence, you stand accused of treason, sedition, and horrific crimes against children, and all you can say is it wasn’t you? That’s your argument, really?”

 

Admiral Reynolds told the panel that Pence had undergone a psychiatric evaluation and judged fit to stand trial.

 

“Officers, this is act, the first time he’s shown this behavior. It’s a Deep State routine, anything to avoid responsibility,” she said.

 

The lead panelist, a Marine Corps major, said the panel had heard enough evidence to reach a definitive verdict: guilty. Defendant Pence, he said, ought to be hanged for crimes.

 

“I’m inclined to agree with the decision,” Admiral Reynolds said.

 

Pence screamed, “I have a right to face my accuser.”

 

“You had them killed, so tell me how you we can manage that?” said the admiral.

 

“I mean Trump. Donald J. Trump,” Pence said.

 

“POTUS is busy. A verdict has been reached,” Admiral Reynolds said.

 

“You’ll pay for this,” Pence bawled as MPs dragged him out of court.

 

Admiral Reynolds set a sentencing date for March 15.

Denmark deepens EU divide on troops in Ukraine

Russia has repeatedly warned that Western soldiers in the country would be considered a legitimate target

 

Denmark is prepared to send troops to Ukraine as part of a Western European mission if necessary, Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen has said.

 

EU members Germany, Italy, and Hungary, have ruled out committing troopsto any potential peacekeeping mission. Others such as France and Spain have indicated the possibility of deploying a force to Ukraine.

 

Russia has maintained that only a UN mandate could justify the presence of Western forces in Ukrain, and has warned that any foreign troops deployed without Moscow’s authorization would be considered legitimate targets.

 

“If it comes to the point where a European presence is needed for a ceasefire or peace agreement to be reached,then Denmark is in principle prepared for that,” Rasmussen said in an interview with DR radio on Monday.

 

He also claimed that afinal decision would depend on whether the US agreesto support such a contingent. “That is also why we have not announced any contribution today, but have said that Denmark is prepared in principle to participate if the conditions are right,” the foreign minister said.

 

Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen recently made similar remarks, stating that while Danish troops in Ukraine cannot be ruled out, discussions are still at an early stage.

 

Last month, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen also urged the US to take a more active role in Ukraine, calling for American troops to be deployed to the country.Previously, she argued that peace in Ukraine could be “more dangerous” than if the conflict were to continue, citing an alleged threat that Russia could attack an EU country in the future. Moscow has repeatedly dismissed such claims as “nonsense.” (Why do they have women in making decisions on war, and do they believe their own propaganda?)

 

US President Donald Trump has ruled out sending American troops to Ukraineand has refused to commit to backing an EU or British military presence in the country as part of a negotiated settlement of the conflict.

 

Russian officials have consistently spoken out against any sort of Western troop deployment to Ukraine. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has also suggested that such proposals are aimed at escalating the conflict. He has specifically accused France and the UK, who have been the most vocal proponents of a foreign peacekeeping force in Ukraine, of trying to fuel tensions in the country and trying to stop attempts to end the hostilities.

An ex-JPMorgan Chase executive testified in London court that Jeffrey Epstein knew more about what was going on at the top levels of the bank than he did.

Jes Staley — who went on to become chief executive of Barclays following his stint at JPMorgan — claimed that Epstein, the convicted child sex offender and disgraced financier who died in prison in 2019, had a “remarkable ability” to gather Wall Street intel, according to a Bloomberg report.

“Mr. Epstein was also well connected within the upper levels of JPMorgan itself,” Staley said during his second day in the witness box as he appealed a proposed ban and $2.3 million fine from London’s financial regulatory agency.

“He seemed to be aware of things relating to the bank, that I was not aware of,” Staley added.

Staley – who is attempting to overturn a lifetime ban that the Financial Conduct Authority announced in 2023 – acknowledged his relationship with Epstein went beyond work.

“It was founded on a business relationship,” the former Barclays boss said. “He became a friend.”

He said Epstein told him about his own departure from JPMorgan before he even knew about it.

“The bank was more important to him than the other way around,” Staley said.

JPMorgan Chase officials didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

In 2000, JPMorgan’s then-chief executive Douglas “Sandy” Warner told Staley he should get to know Epstein, Staley claimed in his witness statement.

“Sandy Warner recommended that I should become acquainted with Mr. Epstein because he was an exceptionally well connected man who could help me, in my capacity at JPM, to form business relationships with influential and other well connected individuals,” he said.

But the FCA said that JPMorgan, Staley’s employer for more than 30 years, told British regulators days before they launched their investigation that it believed Staley might have been involved in Epstein’s crimes.

The major Wall Street firm told the FCA that it had information that “indicated involvement of Mr. Staley in criminal activity related to Mr. Epstein’s trafficking convictions,” according to Mark Steward, the agency’s former head of enforcement.

Mary Erdoes, chief executive of JPMorgan’s asset and wealth management division, had desperately sought Epstein’s help as the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme slammed the bank’s clients in 2008, according to court documents filed by the US Virgin Islands in its 2023 suit against JPMorgan, which has been settled.

Erdoes emailed Staley and asked him to call Epstein – who had pleaded guilty to charges of soliciting prostitution from a minor just six months earlier, according to the documents.

Erdoes terminated JPMorgan’s banking relationship with Epstein in 2013, six months after Staley left the bank.

Staley said he believed Erdoes cut ties with Epstein because he had been withdrawing large amounts of cash.

The House passed legislation Tuesday to avert a partial government shutdown and fund federal agencies through September, providing critical momentum as the measure now moves to the Senate, where bipartisan support will be needed to get it over the finish line.

 

Republicans needed overwhelming support from their members to pass the funding measure, and they got it in the 217-213 House vote.

 

In the Senate, they’ll need support from at least eight Democrats to get the bill to President Donald Trump’s desk. It’s one of the biggest legislative tests so far of the Republican president’s second term, prompting Vice President JD Vance to visit Capitol Hill on Tuesday morning to rally support.

 

Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., moved ahead on the bill, essentially daring Democrats to oppose it and risk a shutdown that would begin Saturday if lawmakers failed to act on the continuing resolution, often referred to by lawmakers as a CR.

 

Rep. Andy Harris, R-Md., and chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, said he supported this one because it would not lead to a massive, catch-all spending bill and would reduce spending.

“This is not your grandfather’s continuing resolution,” Harris said.

 

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., was still a holdout, though. He was the only Republican to vote no on the procedural vote, and said he would vote against the bill, too.

Trump went after Massie on social media, calling him a “GRANDSTANDER, who’s too much trouble.”

“HE SHOULD BE PRIMARIED, and I will lead the charge against him,” Trump posted online.

 

Still, several rank-and-file Democrats criticized the measure. Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey said he was stunned that Republicans were “trying to jam through something that is their way or the highway.”

 

Democrats also introduced an alternative bill Monday night funding the government through April 11. The bill could serve as a Plan B if the GOP-led effort falters.

 

Both parties prepared to blame the other if the bill failed.

 

“It looks like they’re going to try to shut down the government,” Johnson said of Democrats.

 

“If the government shuts down with a Republican House, Republican Senate and Republican president, it will be solely because the Republicans have moved forward with a terrible, partisan, take-it-or-leave-it bill,” said Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y.

Nonetheless, the contumely and scorn for a gold­based monetary system is universal.

 

Events, though, have a peculiar way of forcing things once unthinkable into the forefront of consideration, and then into reality.

 

The signs of change are here.

 

One is that central banks in recent years have been pur­chasing gold at record levels. Buyers include China, India, Russia and a number of other nations such as Poland. These countries are reacting to growing doubts about the long-­term value of the dollar, which in turn is a symptom of the perceived decline of the United States.

 

Another sign is the popularity of cryptocurrencies, origi­nally a high-­tech cry for help in the face of increasingly unreliable fiat currencies. The problem here has been that most creators of cryptos, notably Bitcoin, don’t under­ stand that a currency must be stable in value if it’s going to be used to conduct commercial transactions, espe­cially long­-term contracts. There are a handful of cryptos tethered to gold, but they haven’t yet achieved the credibil­ity or built the mechanisms to be widely used. Nonetheless, as governments flounder in their monetary policies, that will change.

 

The binge of debt creation, both public and private, will inevitably kindle crises that cannot be easily extinguished. Total debt in the world today is more than $300 trillion, an astonishing three times global GDP.

 

And, of course, we have the activities of the so-­called BRICS: originally Brazil, Russia, India and China—and a year later South Africa—which now includes several other countries. Oil giant Saudi Arabia is also considering join­ing. Their monetary machinations, so far, have amounted to little, but that’s starting to shift.

 

India last year began experimenting with gold-­based government bonds. Monetary expert Nathan Lewis, who coauthored our book Inflation: What It Is, Why It’s Bad, and How to Fix It, observes, “These would probably be very popular with investors worldwide. From the start of the floating [currency] era in 1971 to the present, a gold bond paying 4% would have outperformed all stock and bond markets worldwide.”

 

Zimbabwe, which must hold the record for hyperinfla­tion, recently announced the launch of a new currency fixed to gold. Deep skepticism is warranted that this government has the discipline to make such an arrangement work. But the move is a sign of things to come.

Which is strange, because being gen-x, I would partake in both in my youth.

I mean real video games that you stand in front of and put a quarter in to play. Always cute girls there.

Hitting the arcade with your friends on a weekend back in the day was great, something younger generations will never know.

There are some reports on corrupt chicken farmers. I've seen some tiktoks in my digs where a nigger farmer claims other farmers are jacking up prices.

 

Maybe your local chicken farmers need a humble little investigation. The egg prices should be back at normal within a week or two.
