Trump Threatens To Primary Massie After His Promise To Vote 'No' On Funding Bill

 

If anything, Donald Trump should view Thomas Massie as part of the vanguard in the America First movement. Massie embodies the antithesis of everything wrong with Washington. Unlike the proverbial swamp that Trump has promised to drain since first running for president in 2016, Massie is a man with conviction and integrity that very much makes him an iconoclast of the ruling establishment. Yet, instead of making Massie a valuable ally in the quest to dismantle the Deep State, Trump has decided to put the libertarian congressman in his crosshairs. Following his decision to vote 'no' on the upcoming vote on the Continuing Resolution aimed at averting a partial government shutdown, Trump has vowed to lead a crusade to primary Massie ahead of his potential re-election bid in the 2026 Midterm Elections.

Trump Retaliates Against Ontario's "Electricity" Tariff, Threatens To "Permanently Shutdown" Canadian Carmakers, Pushes 51st State Idea

 

Just when you thought it was safe to dip your toe back in the growth-challenged markets, President Trump took to Truth Social and unleashed a retaliatory strike against Canada (more specifcally Ontario) for its ongoing tariffs (and electricity price hike)… (emphasis ours)

 

Based on Ontario, Canada, placing a 25% Tariff on “Electricity” coming into the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an ADDITIONAL 25% Tariff, to 50%, on all STEEL and ALUMINUM COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM CANADA, ONE OF THE HIGHEST TARIFFING NATIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

 

This will go into effect TOMORROW MORNING, March 12th.

 

Also, Canada must immediately drop their Anti-American Farmer Tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous. I will shortly be declaring a National Emergency on Electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada.

 

If other egregious, long time Tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase, on April 2nd, the Tariffs on Cars coming into the U.S. which will, essentially, permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada.

 

Those cars can easily be made in the USA!

Former Philippines President Duterte 'Forcibly Taken' On Plane Bound For The Hague

 

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has over the years issued plenty of arrest warrants for members or leaders of governments and militaries which are basically unenforceable. Such is the case with its recent arrest warrants for Russia's Vladimir Putin and Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu. However, they certainly begun avoiding flying into most European countries as a result.

 

Former Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has also for years had a warrant hanging over him issued from The Hague-based court, but he too seemed of high enough stature to be beyond enforcement. This is why the Tuesday headlines of his being "forcibly taken" onto a plane headed for The Hague comes as such as surprise.

 

His own daughter has confirmed he was taken on to a plane flight late Tuesday. "They are taking him out on a plane by force without considering his health conditions," Veronica Duterte wrote on Instagram. Reuters also confirmed, and photographs have emerged.

 

"As I write this, he is being forcibly taken to The Hague tonight. This is not justice — this is oppression and persecution," she said.

The Office of the Chief Information Officer is focused on driving value in all information technology investments across the Department of the Air Force and improving portfolio management.

Cecily Odom, Enterprise IT Programming and Financial Management senior advisor, is leading the effort.

In her role, Odom focuses on a wide range of financial management tasks including the development and justification of the Enterprise IT budget estimate submission, oversees the resourcing activities of the Enterprise IT portfolio with the Strategy, Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution system, and overseeing a metrics and analysis system for Enterprise IT resourcing.

 

“I’m excited to build our efforts toward helping others understand the value in IT spending across the Air Force and Space Force,” Odom said.

“Our Airmen and Guardians deserve to know that we’re focusing on the capabilities they need to be effective.

And just as importantly, American taxpayers ought to have confidence that we’re spending their tax dollars efficiently and effectively.

We are committed to uncovering hidden IT costs so we can get after the things seen as wasteful and illegal.”

 

This is another step toward providing transparency and insight to the Department’s IT spending, identifying and reducing technical debt, and better measuring the effectiveness and performance of IT investments across the Air Force and Space Force.

“Leaders ask me all the time, ‘Do you have enough money to provide the IT capabilities we need?’

I think we do, but we need to make sure we’re spending that money in the right way and make sure our investments are producing the capabilities we need,” said Venice Goodwine, Department of the Air Force chief information officer.

 

“Some estimates show that across the entire Department, our organizations spend roughly $10 billion per year on IT services, but my office currently only has visibility on a quarter of that spend, or just over $2 billion.

We don’t need to control those funds, but we need robust governance to make sure the money is spent in a way that is best for the enterprise, and we aren’t reproducing capabilities that already exist,” Goodwine added.

 

Goodwine said her team is focused on ensuring IT stakeholders from across the Air Force and Space Force leverages governance processes to articulate their priorities.

This includes making sure that they also know how to access existing Service Catalogues, which provide a detailed list of capabilities developed jointly by government and industry that commands can leverage or modify to support their needs.

 

“My office works with the Air Force A6 and the Space Force S6 to prioritize and make investments in IT capabilities of common concern for all Airmen and Guardians,” Goodwine said.

“We leverage the Cyberspace Capabilities Center to develop and deliver these services, like how the Defense Information Systems Agency does the same across the Department of Defense for all users on behalf of the DoD CIO.”

As part of the Secretariat, the role of the CIO’s staff is to provide strategy, policy, governance, oversight and advocacy across the Department’s IT enterprise – inclusive of all IT portfolios and mission areas, cybersecurity, data and artificial intelligence – and make informed investments to support the Services’ strategic objectives.

Largest Ever Ukrainian Drone Attack On Moscow Kills Three Civilians, Injures 9

 

Just hours ahead of a major meeting between American and Ukrainian delegations in Saudi Arabia toward finding a path to ceasefire with Russia, Ukraine's military launched an unprecedented cross-border attack on Moscow and the surrounding region of the capital.

 

"The largest ever attack by enemy drones on Moscow has been repelled," Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on Telegram early Tuesday of the overnight attack. "Seventy-four combat drones were shot down on their way to Moscow, with hundreds more intercepted at various points."

 

At least three people were killed as the drones in some cases scored direct hits on residential buildings and neighborhoods of the capital. The scale of the launch included multiple hundreds of UAVs - given that Russia's defense ministry said it downed 337 unmanned aircraft during the assault.

 

A statement claimed that 91 drones were downed around Moscow, with another 126 intercepted over the Kursk region bordering Ukraine.

 

At least nine others were wounded, with some reports suggesting up to 20 were hurt. One man who was killed was struck in a parking lot outside a meat packing plant, the regional governor said. Another man succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

 

Russia's Investigative Committee has dubbed the attack an act of terrorism and said that President Putin has been briefed on the matter.

Police Respond To Fire, Find CEO Of Trucking Company Allegedly Stabbed To Death

 

The CEO of a trucking company was found murdered in a burning building in Crestwood, Illinois on Wednesday, according to police.

 

The body was discovered after police and firefighters responded to reports of heavy smoke emanating from ATG Truckload’s offices, according to a Crestwood Police Department (CPD) press release. Authorities discovered the body of ATG Truckload’s CEO, Dane Koteski, on the second floor of the building after firefighters put out the blaze. Koteski’s neck had been slashed with a pointed or sharp object, indicating a homicide, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

 

“The fire was put out quickly. There was a large amount of smoke. We cleared out the smoke, and the focus became the investigation of the body,” CPD Chief Kevin Sisk told ABC7. “Investigators determined the victim was the owner of the company: 46-year-old Dane Koteski. An autopsy later determined Koteski’s neck was slashed with a knife.”

Air Force, Space Force discuss requirements to win future fights

March 10, 2025

 

Air Force and Space Force senior leaders took to the stage at the recent Air and Space Forces Association Warfare Symposium March 3-5, outlining their vision for the future of warfare and emphasizing the need for rapid modernization and adaptation in the face of evolving global threats.

Chief of Space Operations Gen. Chance Saltzman opened the conference, emphasizing space is no longer a peaceful domain.

As U.S. adversaries rapidly expand their space capabilities, Saltzman stressed the urgent need for his service to fully embrace its fundamental responsibility to establish Space Superiority.

 

"Fighting against a near-peer threat that has unfettered access to space while we do not is a recipe for death and destruction," Saltzman warned.

He outlined key focus areas and efforts designed to deliver the Space Force's transformation into a warfighting service, including:

 

• Space Control: Acknowledging it’s the service’s newest core function, encompassing offensive and defensive capabilities to ensure U.S. freedom of action in space.

• Integrated Mission Deltas: Streamlining operations, development, and sustainment to enhance combat effects delivery.

• Officer Training Course: Equipping new officers with a foundational understanding of all elements of spacepower.

• Space Futures Command: A proposed organization that will drive innovation and determine requirements to shape the Space Force of the future.

 

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Allvin echoed the need for urgency, advocating for "more Air Force" in an increasingly volatile world.

“America needs more Air Force. More Air Force doesn’t mean more of the same. It means more Airmen are focused on the threat.

It means a more agile force design that allows you to leverage industry. It means more Airmen … more defense of the homeland. Finally, it means more options for the president,” Allvin said.

 

He further explained that “more Air Force” allows the service “to sustain and maintain the ability to go anytime, anywhere in the densest threat environment and put ‘warheads on foreheads’ anywhere the President might want.

Senior enlisted leaders from both services stressed the critical role of enlisted personnel in shaping the future force. Chief Master Sgt. of the Space Force John Bentivegna called for a culture of innovation and adaptability.

 

“What we did yesterday is not going to succeed today,” Bentivegna said. “We need innovative Guardians thinking outside the box, questioning assumptions, and evolving our service at the tactical level.”

Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force David Flosi emphasized the importance of the warrior ethos, discipline, standards and accountability.

“We are wingmen, we’re leaders, we’re warriors, we’re in the profession of arms. We must focus on our main thing–the lethality and readiness of our force–to preserve options for our nation.”

Drugs taken by millions in US can cause ‘deviant’ sexual behavior including pedophilia — but patients aren’t warned by doctors

A class of drugs commonly used to treat movement disorders like Parkinson’s disease and restless leg syndrome is pushing people into risky sexual behavior.

 

Patients taking dopamine agonists say the drugs have triggered uncontrollable impulses, including flashing, sex addiction and even pedophilia — leaving them struggling with feelings of shame and confusion.

 

Reports reviewed by the BBC suggest drugmaker GSK has known about the risk of so-called “deviant” sexual behavior since 2003, yet patients claim their doctors continue to fail to warn them about these potentially devastating side effects.

 

Dopamine agonists mimic dopamine, a key brain chemical that controls movement and is activated by pleasure. However, these drugs can overstimulate feelings of pleasure while dulling the brain’s ability to recognize the consequences of our actions

 

This can lead to impulse control disorders, with studies showing 13% to 24% of Parkinson’s patients on dopamine agonists develop them. While a warning about these risky behaviors is listed alongside common side effects like nausea and insomnia, research suggests they often go unnoticed or undiagnosed.

 

In the US, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine recommends the drugs only be used for short-term treatment, such as end-of-life care.

 

A 2003 report from GSK reviewed by BBC described two cases of deviant sexual behavior in men who were prescribed the dopamine agonists Ropinirole for Parkinson’s disease.

 

In one, a 63-year-old man sexually assaulted a 7-year-old girl. The report said the perpetrator’s libido had increased significantly from the start of his treatment and his “problem subsequently resolved” after his dose was reduced.

 

At least 20 women prescribed dopamine agonists for restless leg syndrome told the BBC that the drugs ruined their lives. Many said they weren’t warned about the serious side effects and had no idea what was causing their erratic behavior.

The US and China came closer to a full-fledged trade war last week when China imposed tariffs of up to 15 percent on key US agricultural exports. This was retaliation for President Trump’s increasing of tariffs on Chinese exports to the United States from 10 percent to 20 percent.

 

China’s retaliatory tariffs show how export-dependent industries are harmed by protectionist policies. Even if other countries refrain from imposing retaliatory tariffs, exporters can still suffer from reduced demand for their products in countries targeted by US tariffs. Businesses that rely on imported materials to manufacture their products also suffer from increased production costs thanks to tariffs. President Trump acknowledged how tariffs harm US manufacturers when he granted US automakers’ request for a one-month delay in new tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada.

 

Many American consumers who are struggling with high prices are concerned that President Trump’s tariff policy will further increase prices. They are right to be concerned. Contrary to popular belief, foreign businesses do not pay tariffs. Tariffs are paid by US businesses that wish to sell the imported goods. When tariffs are increased, the importing businesses try to recoup their increased costs by increasing their prices. Consumers then must choose whether to pay the higher price, find a cheaper alternative, or do without the product. Whatever they choose, consumers will be worse off because they cannot spend their money the way they prefer.

 

Tariffs may provide a short-term benefit to the protected businesses. However, tariffs could keep businesses alive that should be allowed to fail so the business owners and workers can put their talents to use in other endeavors that would more greatly benefit and the whole economy.

 

Defenders of tariffs, including President Trump, claim the revenue from tariffs can be used to “offset” the revenue government loses from tax cuts. Some even claim that tariffs can generate enough revenue to allow the government to repeal the income tax. The problem with this is that a tariff brings in more revenue to “pay for” tax cuts only to the extent the tariff does not cause consumers to cease buying imported goods. Thus, the tariffs, to bring revenue to the government, must not be large enough to discourage Americans from buying foreign products. The more tariffs increase government revenue, the more they will tend to fail in bringing about another often promoted tariff goal — an increase in the purchase of domestic goods.

President Donald Trump’s Department of Education warned 60 universities in a letter on Monday of potential enforcement actions if they continue to allow discrimination and harassment against Jewish students on campuses.

US-Backed Kurds Reach Deal To Merge With HTS-Led Syrian Government

 

The deal comes after HTS forces massacred Alawite civilians in western Syria

 

On Monday, the US-backed Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) signed a deal to merge into the new Syrian government, which is led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, an offshoot of al-Qaeda.

 

The deal was signed between SDF chief Mazloum Abdi and Syria’s de-facto leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, formerly known as Abu Mohammad al-Julani. The SDF controls a significant portion of Syria’s northeast, where there are about 2,000 US troops deployed.

 

According to a statement from Sharaa’s office, the deal will “integrate all civil and military institutions in northeast Syria [Rojava] under the administration of the Syrian state, including border crossings, the [Qamishli International] Airport, and oil and gas fields.”

 

The agreement comes after Sharaa’s HTS forces conducted a series of massacres in northwest Syria amid fighting with militias in the region, killing around 1,000 civilians, the vast majority being Alawites, although some Christians were slaughtered as well.

 

In response to the massacres, Sharaa ordered the creation of a committee that he claims will investigate the “reasons, circumstances and context.” Local sources said most of the perpetrators of the massacres were foreigners, Uzbeks, Uyghurs, and Chechens, and only a small percentage were Syrian. The HTS-led government absorbed foreign jihadists into its military and appointed some to senior roles.

 

While his forces just went on a killing spree against minorities in the northwest, Sharaa still insists that his government will be “inclusive.” The deal he signed with Abdi says that all Syrians will be part of the political process regardless of religion or ethnicity and pledges the Kurds will have their “constitutional rights.”

 

The SDF has been battling with Turkey and its proxy, the Syrian National Army (SNA), in northern Syria, and those clashes continued on Monday as Abdi was signing the deal with Sharaa. Turkey considers the SDF the Syrian wing of the PKK, which has fought Ankara for decades.

 

The PKK’s jailed leader recently called for the group to disarm, which was followed by the PKK announcing a ceasefire with Turkey. But Turkey has continued military operations against Kurdish militants in Syria and Iraq.

Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett has proposed a bill allowing Americans to use a shotgun to shoot down drones above their property.

HR1907, also known as the Defense Against Drones Act, is sponsored by U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN-2).

The bill allows for a property owner to shoot down unmanned aircraft using a legally-obtained shotgun if the person believes the drone is flying 200 feet or lower over their property.

 

The bill allows for the property owner to return the drone to the owner should they choose and also requires the property owner to report the aircraft and it's registration number to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) within 60 days of the drone shooting.

 

The bill comes just under two weeks after the Tennessee National Guard reported mysterious drone sightings in recent months similar to the sightings seen in northeast states.

The Tennessee Department of the Military is asking for an additional $5.5 million for what they call forced protection improvements.

Such improvements may include ballistic doors, ballistic gates, and other types of confidential defense improvements.

Druzhba pipeline oil deliveries suspended due to drone strike

Oil deliveries to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline have had to be suspended due to a Ukrainian drone strike on one of the pipeline’s measuring stations, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Tuesday, adding that repairs to the pipeline were under way and oil transit could resume later today.

Szijjártó said he has spoken to Russia’s deputy prime minister in charge of energy affairs, who told him that oil deliveries via the Druzhba pipeline have had to be temporarily halted due to a Ukrainian strike.

Repairs are underway, and deliveries could resume late in the afternoon or early evening, he said, according to a ministry statement.

“If the Druzhba oil pipeline is rendered inoperable, then it practically becomes physically impossible to supply oil to Hungary and Slovakia,” Szijjártó warned, adding that attacks on Hungary’s energy infrastructure were “unacceptable”.

 

We have made this position clear in Brussels on multiple occasions, and the European Commission guaranteed that there would be no attacks on the infrastructure supplying energy to Hungary,” he said.

“Unfortunately this isn’t the first time for the European Commission’s guarantee to be violated.”

“We call on the Ukrainians not to attack the infrastructure supplying energy to Hungary,” he said. Szijjártó said Hungary bore no blame for the war and would continue to stay out of the conflict.

"We'll have the votes; we're going to pass the CR," Johnson told reporters. "We can do it on our own. But what I am saying Democrats ought to do the responsible thing, follow their own advice in every previous scenario and keep the government open. It's their choice.

 

"I wish it could be a unanimous vote that the House chamber did that. That would be a great thing for America.

Johnson noted the "moment of clarity and great contrast" with Democrats "in panic mode right now," along with fiscal hawk Rep. "We already lost one vote, we can't lose another," Vance warned the GOP, referring to Massie's vow to vote against continued spending at the Biden-era level.

 

Johnson noted Democrats' opposition Friday to a clean CR came before they even saw the bill that was released for the first time Saturday.

 

"Every single word of that is a lie; they just made it up," Johnson told reporters of Democrats' public statements claiming the CR was coming with cuts laid out by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under Trump.

 

"It's all a lie. This clean CR contains no poison pill riders."

 

A House GOP domestic policy bill would come after clearing the runway through September, Vance promised the House GOP members in the private meeting, sources told Politico.

 

Also, Vance vowed the massive policy spending cuts from DOGE would be able to move forward for the next time the can kicked down the road is reached in October, sources added to Politico.

 

The House CR vote is planned for 4 p.m. ET on the floor, and Senate Democrats have shown reluctance to stop it and forcing a government shutdown that would have begun Friday at midnight.

Tom Homan warns Congress: We will soon run out of money for deportations

Border czar Tom Homan told Fox Business on Monday that the federal government will soon run out of the money earmarked for deportations and that Congress needs to provide more funds.

 

Homan stated before President Donald Trump entered office in January that in order to have millions of deportations every year, departments like Homeland Security and Defense will need over $80 billion. One of the most acute problems is the shortage of bed space for detained illegal immigrants waiting to be processed for deportation.

 

"We're running out of beds in two weeks. We're at about 46,000 in custody now. We ought to be at 65,000 at this point in time. And we when run out of beds, we stop interior operations. When we arrest somebody, we got to have a bed to put them in for removal," Homan said.

 

'The CBP Home app gives aliens the option to leave now and self-deport.'

 

"So Congress does need to get the funding we need so this administration can keep the promises made to the American people. … We're doing great. The border [crossings] are down 97%," he continued.

 

Homan clarified that media reports of the Trump administration not deporting as many illegal immigrants as the Biden-Harris administration are false because the deportation numbers today are higher and are only from the interior. Under the Biden-Harris administration, deportations at the southern border were added to the interior deportations because of the high number of illegal crossings.

 

While the Trump administration is using flights by the U.S. military to increase air capacity for deportations, it likewise increased the price tag for flights.

 

To further encourage illegal immigrants to leave the United States on their own, the Department of Homeland Security announced this week that the CBP One app is now the CBP Home app. Previously used by the Biden-Harris administration to let illegal immigrants through ports of entry and then release them via mass parole, the app is now designed to have users submit their information and confirmation that they have left the United States to avoid the penalties that come with being deported.

 

The more illegal aliens who use the app to return home, the more federal resources can be spent on the holdouts.

 

"The CBP Home app gives aliens the option to leave now and self-deport, so they may still have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream. If they don’t, we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return," Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement.

Abstract

 

Importance Severe impulse control disorders involving pathological gambling, hypersexuality, and compulsive shopping have been reported in association with the use of dopamine receptor agonist drugs in case series and retrospective patient surveys. These agents are used to treat Parkinson disease, restless leg syndrome, and hyperprolactinemia.

 

Objectives To analyze serious adverse drug event reports about these impulse control disorders received by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and to assess the relationship of these case reports with the 6 FDA-approved dopamine receptor agonist drugs.

 

Design, Setting, and Participants We conducted a retrospective disproportionality analysis based on the 2.7 million serious domestic and foreign adverse drug event reports from 2003 to 2012 extracted from the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System.

 

Main Outcomes and Measures Cases were selected if they contained any of 10 preferred terms in the Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) that described the abnormal behaviors. We used the proportional reporting ratio (PRR) to compare the proportion of target events to all serious events for the study drugs with a similar proportion for all other drugs.

 

Results We identified 1580 events indicating impulse control disorders from the United States and 21 other countries:710 fordopamine receptor agonist drugs and 870 for other drugs. The dopamine receptor agonist drugs had a strong signal associated with these impulse control disorders (n = 710; PRR = 277.6, P < .001). The association was strongest for the dopamine agonists pramipexole (n = 410; PRR = 455.9, P < .001) and ropinirole (n = 188; PRR = 152.5, P < .001), with preferential affinity for the dopamine D3 receptor. A signal was also seen for aripiprazole, an antipsychotic classified as a partial agonist of the D3 receptor (n = 37; PRR = 8.6, P < .001).

 

Conclusions and Relevance Our findings confirm and extend the evidence that dopamine receptor agonist drugs are associated with these specific impulse control disorders. At present, none of the dopamine receptor agonist drugs approved by the FDA have boxed warnings as part of their prescribing information. Our data, and data from prior studies, show the need for more prominent warnings.

Moscow Hit by Barrage of Drones in Biggest Attack of Ukraine War

Moscow was hit by the largest drone attack of the Russia-Ukraine war overnight, hours ahead of a scheduled meeting between officials from Washington and Kyiv that could determine the future of the conflict.

Newsweek has contacted the foreign ministries of Russia and Ukraine for comment.

 

Why It Matters

The Associated Press has described the attack as seemingly the largest drone barrage on Russia since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine over three years ago.

It is likely intended to send a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin ahead of a meeting between a Ukrainian delegation and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.

 

What We Know

Russia's Defense Ministry said in a Telegram post that it intercepted 337 Ukrainian drones overnight.

It is a record number since the war began in February 2022, The Moscow Times reported.

 

The ministry said 91 unmanned aerial vehicles were "intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems" over the Moscow region. Another 126 were destroyed over the Kursk region, which borders Ukraine.

Others were intercepted above the regions of Bryansk, Belgorod, Ryazan, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Oryol, Voronezh, and Nizhny Novgorod, Russian officials said.

 

"Thanks to the air defense forces of the Aerospace Forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for their excellent work," said Moscow's Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in a Telegram post.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense continues to repel a massive attack by enemy drones on Moscow."

 

The Moscow region's governor, Andrei Vorobyov, said at least one person was killed and three others were wounded in Moscow's southern suburbs. A residential building was also damaged in the attack.

The drone barrage came ahead of high-stakes talks between the U.S. and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia, the first since President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance clashed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office on February 28.

That disastrous meeting resulted in Washington halting aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

Putin has demanded that Ukraine give up its aspirations to join NATO, and concede territory to Moscow as part of peace talks.

In a preview for the special, CBS News correspondent Bill Whitaker speaks with Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker, Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, inquiring about the intelligence community's thoughts on the mysterious sightings and whether these could have been an attempt at espionage by a foreign power.

"I am privy to classified briefings at the highest level," Wicker said. "I think the Pentagon and the National Security Advisors are still mystified."

 

Why It Matters

Although the White House has sought to ease concerns regarding the drone sightings in New Jersey and other states during November and December, they raised considerable alarm among both the public and lawmakers.

Reports indicated multiple drones flying over military bases, sparking worries among some lawmakers who speculated that China might be behind the incidents.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in December, over 5,000 sightings were reported to the agency, of which around 100 were actionable tips.

After the meeting and at the request of the United States, Israel returned five Lebanese citizens being held in Israeli custody to Lebanon. The Mechanism will continue to meet regularly to achieve full implementation of the cessation of hostilities.

Court Denies Trump Request to Restore His Birthright Citizenship Order

The United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on Tuesday has denied the request by the Trump administration to lift multiple lower court judges' nationwide injunction on President Donald Trump's birthright citizenship executive order.

 

The request was denied by the Chief Judge David Barron, who was former President Barack Obama's first acting assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Counsel of the U.S. (2009-2010).

 

"We do not address the government's appeal of the preliminary injunction itself," Barron concluded in the 32-page ruling Tuesday. "We address only the government's stay motion, which asks us to decide whether the District Court's order granting a preliminary injunction should be stayed while this court takes up an interlocutory appeal of that injunction.

 

"Based on the arguments that the government presents in support of the stay motion, we deny it."

 

Trump's executive order banning birthright citizenship will stay in place pending appeal.

 

The administration sought to stay the injunction, arguing the blue states 18 states that filed the lawsuit lacked standing.

 

But Barron said the government did not make a "strong showing" that the states lacked standing under Article III of the Constitution.

 

Judges Julie Rikelman and Seth R. Aframe also joined the opinion.

 

At the heart of the lawsuits is the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which was ratified in 1868 after the Civil War and the Dred Scott Supreme Court decision. That decision found that Scott, an enslaved man, was not a citizen despite having lived in a state where slavery was outlawed.

 

The Trump administration has asserted children of noncitizens are not "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States and therefore not entitled to citizenship.

 

Attorneys for the states argue that it does, and that it has been recognized since the amendment's adoption, notably in an 1898 U.S. Supreme Court decision. That decision, United States v Wong Kim Ark, held that the only children who did not automatically receive U.S. citizenship upon being born on U.S. soil were the children of diplomats, who have allegiance to another government; enemies present in the U.S. during hostile occupation; those born on foreign ships; and those born to members of sovereign Native American tribes.

 

Trump made a day one order to fulfill a campaign vow to review birthright citizenship, arguing that illegal migrants did not have the lawful permission to have a baby in the U.S. that would be automatically granted citizenship. Trump has strongly disagreed with "chain migration," saying illegal or even temporary migrants could effectively force their way to protected immigration status in the U.S. by merely coming on to U.S. soil.

 

"The Fourteenth Amendment has never been interpreted to extend citizenship universally to everyone born within the United States," the Jan. 20 order read. "The Fourteenth Amendment has always excluded from birthright citizenship persons who were born in the United States but not 'subject to the jurisdiction thereof.'

 

"Among the categories of individuals born in the United States and not subject to the jurisdiction thereof, the privilege of United States citizenship does not automatically extend to persons born in the United States:

 

(1) when that person's mother was unlawfully present in the United States and the father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth, or,

 

(2) when that person's mother's presence in the United States at the time of said person's birth was lawful but temporary (such as, but not limited to, visiting the United States under the auspices of the Visa Waiver Program or visiting on a student, work, or tourist visa) and the father was not a United States citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person's birth."

Macron stands by his warnings about Russia as he meets with army chiefs

French president Emmanuel Macron spoke earlier today at the future site of the Internal Security General Directorate, or DGSI, giving his commentary on defence and security issues facing France. Le Monde reports that Macron fired back at his critics who had suggested he was inventing or exaggerating the threat from Russia, saying “these people have clearly not followed the news” on Ukraine.

Well, I'm not worried about meteorites. What I worry about are human mechanisms, things that transport us, like ocean liners sinking or being torpedoed. I worry about the speed - of cars …

So all the things that humans have created scare me more than the things from outer space that humans have to deal with.

 

Has your view of the dangers of the world changed as a result of working on the series?

Nothing that mankind does would surprise me. But I didn't know about the fantastic escapes from danger that humans have been through. There's a man who survived in a boat at the bottom of the sea for four or five days in an air pocket and somehow got out.

These are very inspiring survival stories. My view of the world has improved, but it hasn't changed in terms of what people can achieve or even what cruelties they can commit.

 

What cruelties do you mean?

There was a French king who didn't like his cook's soup, so he had him executed. That's one of our stories. We're doing an episode about revenge. We're doing an episode about military weapons that were tested and proved to be absolute folly.

Some of these stories are really funny: how people have tried to put bombs on pigeons and send them into battle. So there's also a lot of humor and irony in all these stories.

I think that's what makes them so entertaining. Not only are they well-researched and well-presented, but they're also funny.

 

So it's the humor that gives you hope in a world where everyone is going crazy?

I think whenever we can laugh, it also gives hope. There's a lot of craziness involved. I hope people laugh, and I hope people are entertained by this movie.

And yes, laughter is very important, and it's also medically proven to be an effective cure for many diseases. Laughter is valuable because it releases endorphins and provides relief.

In view of the really big problems such as climate change, which is also part of "The UnBelievable", we ultimately have little reason to laugh … Or do you still have hope here too?

 

Planet Earth will always have a radical climate, but it seems that events like strong hurricanes are becoming more frequent. They are bigger, and they are more dangerous.

That's one thing I'm really scared of, as well as the power of the elements in general. But I also believe that humanity will manage to save itself.

With the industry and all the money being spent on fighting climate change, we have some hope. But global warming since records began is already more than 1.5 degrees Celsius.

That means we have to do something - and I don't mean fleeing to Mars. We will continue to live here on Earth and have to deal with all this.

My fear is that we will pass the point where we can no longer change anything. But I want to keep hoping. I am an optimist. I am a Canadian optimist. I want to hope.

You saidin an interview that you are interested in paranormal phenomena. You also mention aliens in "The Unbelievable". Where does your interest in such stories come from?

My great-grandfather was a spiritualist and paranormal investigator in the 1920s. He organized séances in an old farmhouse with a family medium who guided the deceased and brought them back. So he believed in life after death. He believed in consciousness after death.

The whole thing with ghosts goes hand in hand with that. So I wrote the "Ghostbusters" based on old comedies like those of Abbott and Costello, Bob Hope or Dean Martin, as well as my great-grandfather's research and what was happening in paranormal research at the time.

 

But what exactly interests you about these kinds of stories?

What interests me about the materialization of a spirit is the question of what is going on physically, chemically, biochemically and molecularly so that a living person can see the materialization of a deceased person in a real form, like a 3D image.

God, what kind of energy that must be. Where does this energy come from, from the other side? It's really fascinating for me.

And all those ghost stories you hear, like the one of the little girl on the Queen Mary in Long Beach who drowned in the pool and has since been seen by hundreds of people.

 

Have you ever had a paranormal experience yourself?

I've seen a few things that weren't meant to be: I've had encounters with at least two UFOs. I've never seen a ghost, but I've had some great sessions with mediums who told me things that only I and the deceased people could know.

So I'm pretty convinced that this experience is real. It's exciting and entertaining for me as a writer.

 

You mentioned the Ghostbusters. Netflix is planning a new animated series from the "Ghostbusters" universe. What do you think about that? Can it work?

Oh yes, it will work great. I can't say much about it, but we'll be able to go places you couldn't go in normal, real live action.

 

Does that mean you are part of the new project?

Yes. I'm involved as an executive producer and also as a member of the Ghost Corps with Jason Reitman and Gil Keenan. The three of us are bringing the "Ghostbusters" into the future.

 

The first "Ghostbusters" movie was released in 1984, over 40 years ago. What fascinates people about it to this day?

Well, people love ghosts and they love to laugh. And there were so many great laughs in it. That's also true of the films that followed, two and three, as well as Paul Feig's women's film.

People love ghosts, technology and fantasy, and they love good, fast-paced entertainment. And that's exactly what Ivan Reitman gave them with the first film, providing the template for further films.

 

Last question: What professional dreams are you still pursuing, beyond "Ghostbusters"?

I recently wrote a book that still has to be published. And I want to keep working on my vodka company, Crystal Head Vodka. We are constantly breaking new ground and are already represented in 80 countries.

And then I still have my band, so as long as I can still move, talk and breathe, I want to play a few more concerts. I would also like to bring a House of Blues to Berlin

The top diplomats of France, Poland and Germany reportedly want to send a signal of unity to Washington

 

The foreign ministers of France, Germany and Poland are planning a joint trip to the US as a show of unity, Politico EU has reported.

 

While the visit is still at the planning stage and no date has been set,the trio wants to arrive shortly after the January 20inauguration of President Donald Trump, three EU diplomats told the outlet on condition of anonymity on Wednesday. Bombshell memo claims JFK probed CIA to release UFO files 10 days before his assassination

As the John F Kennedy assassination files are set to be released to the public, a memo supposedly written by the former president 10 days before his death has resurfaced.

In the letter, dated November 12, 1963, JFK allegedly requested the director of CIA brief him about 'all UFO intelligence.' The recipient's name was redacted, but John McCone headed the department at the time.

It stressed the importance of knowing what objects in the skies are unknown in the event the Soviets mistake a UFO as America spying on its defenses.

'When this data has been sorted out, I would like you to arrange a program of data sharing with NASA where unknowns are a factor,' the memo reads. 'This will help NASA mission directors in their defensive responsibilities.'

 

The document was obtained by William Lester, who claimed it was released to him under the Freedom of Information Act while researching his 2011 book A Celebration of Freedom: JFK and the New Frontier.'

The CIA has never commented publicly and declined to respond to DailyMail.com prior to publishing this story.

However, the letter has not appeared anywhere but in Lester's book, leading some experts to question its authenticity.

There are several outlandish conspiracy theories about JFK and UFOs, including that he may have been assassinated for exposing a government cover-up.

 

The memo features the subject 'Classification review of all UFO intelligence files affecting National Security,' along with 'draft' written in pen in the top right corner.

It came during the Cold War and the space race and two months after JFK proposed a joint lunar program with the Soviet Union because he believed more discoveries would be made with two nations working together.

The memo states that JFK instructed James Webb, the second Administrator of NASA, 'to develop a program with the Soviet Union in joint space and lunar exploration.'

'It is important we make a clear distinction between the knowns and unknowns in the event the Soviets try to mistake our extended cooperation as a cover for intelligence gather of their defense and space programs.'

 

JFK said in September 1963 that if the US and Soviet were to come together in space, they would need a new approach to the war.

That included 'a desire not to bury one's adversary, but to compete in a host of peaceful arenas, in ideas, in production, and ultimately in service to all mankind.'

The memo obtained by Lester suggested JFK was on a mission to ensure the nation did not see UFOs as American weaponry.

 

A research technician at the JFK Library in Boston, who asked not to be named, told Space.com that he was unable to find a copy in the presidential archive, which holds copies of all of JFK's letters.

'We did some research into the presidential papers to try to find any evidence of the Nov. 12, 1963, letter to the director of the CIA, John McCone,' the technician said.

JFK was also known for keeping carbon copies of all his letters, but the one Lester published has not been located.

 

'Something is a little odd about it,' the technician said. 'It is sanitized in very odd places: the director's name, the top heading of the document (which usually distinguishes which agency is generating it) and then the tiny 'top secret' print at the top of letter.

Top secret items are usually stamped in large dark ink on the letter.' DailyMail.com has contacted the JFK Library and Lester for comment.

Lester believes his memo proceeded another that many conspiracy theorists claim indicates the CIA killed JFK, called the 'burned memo.'

'If Kennedy had gotten some level of control of this issue from NASA or the CIA, who's to say he wouldn't have disclosed that information to the American public? Who knows where that would have led?' he said.

In late January, President Donald Trump signed an executive order authorizing the release of the remaining classified records about the 1963 shooting of JFK.

 

The White House was alerted last month that the FBI discovered about 14,000 pages of documents as the agency set about reviewing the secret files in response to the order.

Surveillance of Lee Harvey Oswald, a file on a Cuban hitman, and the president's plan to obliterate the CIA are among bombshell revelations that could be contained within secret JFK assassination files.

The order gave the director of national intelligence and the attorney general 15 days to develop a plan to declassify the remaining documents. It is not clear when the records will actually be released.

 

JFK was assassinated in downtown Dallas on November 22, 1963, as his motorcade passed in front of the Texas School Book Depository building.

Gunman Lee Harvey Oswald, 24, shot from a sixth-floor sniper's perch, and was himself gunned down two days later.

The Warren Commission concluded Oswald acted alone, but conspiracy theories have run riot ever since.

A reporter for Alex Jones’ right-wing conspiracy website Infowars was killed near his Austin home late Sunday, Jones announced on a Monday broadcast.

Jones said reporter Jamie White, 36, was "brutally murdered" outside of a southeast Austin apartment complex Sunday night. White was shot and killed in the parking lot of the apartment complex where he lived in the 2300 block of Douglas Street, the Austin Police Department confirmed Tuesday.

"We sent some people over this morning when he didn't answer the phone, because he was always here early, loves to work, loves to fight tyranny, loves to promote freedom," Jones said during a Monday broadcast. "When they got to the apartment complex, there was yellow tape everywhere and blood all over the parking lot."

Detectives believe the gunmen were burglarizing White's car when he interrupted them. The suspects fled the scene and no arrests had been made in connection with the shooting as of Tuesday morning.

'Galactic Federation': This new Trump nominee spoke at a space alien conspiracy conference

Two Arizona lawmakers and President Donald Trump’s nominee for a top Pentagon job spoke at a conspiracy theory convention over the weekend, appearing alongside a man who claims God is telling him to sell cryptocurrency.

Arizona lawmakers Sen. Mark Finchem, R-Prescott, and Rep. Leo Biasiucci, R-Lake Havasu, each spoke on multiple panels at the Quantum Summit 2 event, a convention for a fringe conspiracy theory that claims extraterrestrials are helping shape national and global policy.

 

During one presentation, Finchem was joined by retired Gen. Anthony Tata, Trump’s nominee for under secretary of defense for personnel and readiness at the Pentagon.

Tata had previously been nominated by Trump during his first presidency, but his past inflammatory remarks referring to President Barack Obama as a “terrorist” and a series of Islamaphobic tweets scuttled his appointment.

 

Tata has appeared at a Quantum Summit event before, speaking at the inaugural event in 2024; photographs of his participation were posted on the event website and in other promotional materials.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment or answer questions if they were aware of Tata’s planned attendance.

 

In a program for the event posted to BlueSky by anonymous independent extremist researcher Arizona Right Watch, Tata was listed as speaking on a panel with Finchem and two individuals who frequently post videos with QAnon related themes.

Both Biasucci and Finchem also held their own presentations separately, with Biasucci speaking about his legislation and Finchem about his work with a former Tennessee cop in which Finchem has pursued spurious fraud claims.

 

“We are a very small team,” Finchem said, alluding to a nonprofit he created that has spread debunked election fraud claims and whose “head researcher,” a former Tennessee cop named Shawn Taylor, was also present at the event.

Finchem suggested that those in attendance should donate to help fund his nonprofit’s work.

 

Quantum Summit 2 was put on in Cape Canaveral, Florida, by believers in the NESARA/GESARA conspiracy theory.

In its most basic form, NESARA/GESARA is a conspiracy theory that revolves around a proposed piece of economic reforms from the 1990s called the National Economic Security and Recovery Act that conspiracy theorists believe was enacted in secret by President Bill Clinton but was covered up by the U.S. Supreme Court via a gag order and suppressed by the 9/11 attacks, which were orchestrated by President George W. Bush.

 

GESARA refers to a supposed global version of the economic reforms that adherents similarly believe were instituted and then hidden.

In the early 2000s, the conspiracy theory gained popularity in the early internet days as Shaini Goodwin, calling herself the “Dove of Oneness,” made bold predictions about NESARA and world events with dubious claims of “insider knowledge.”

Goodwin is a “graduate” of a New-Age school whose leader often goes on homophobic and antisemitic rants and has teamed up with QAnon. It is also tied to the NXIVM cult that was investigated for sex crimes and much more.

 

The conspiracy theory has regained traction in recent years, as QAnon adherents have flocked to it due to its many similarities.

NESARA/GESARA has often also been called the “grandfather” of the QAnon conspiracy movement.

Goodwin initially promoted it as part of a larger scam that defrauded investors of millions of dollars, with promises of the erasure of all debts and the eventual abolishment of the Internal Revenue Services.

 

Believers often claim that extraterrestrials have been in communication with them or leaders within the movement and are working to promote the NESARA/GESARA agenda.

A promotional video for the Cape Canaveral event that Finchem and Biasiucci spoke at mentions discussions around encouraging the U.S. Space Force to work with the “Galactic Federation.”

The idea of a Galactic Federation is often discussed in the context of UFO religions and New Age movements.

Neither Arizona lawmaker responded to the statement, and instead spoke about legislation they’re running about taxes in Arizona.

In that same interview, Finchem claimed that Attorney General Kris Mayes had sent a “threatening” letter to lawmakers regarding cryptocurrency.

A spokesperson for Mayes said they were unaware of any letter and noted they were working with Republican lawmaker Rep. Jeff Weninger, R-Chandler, on a cryptocurrency bill.

 

Neither Biasucci nor Finchem responded to repeated requests for comment.

 

In an opening video for the event, Carmine also claimed that God showed him the logo of a cryptocurrency in the sky that he is now pushing as the currency that will be backed by NESARA/GESARA.

That cryptocurrency was featured prominently throughout the event and is pushed heavily on Carmine’s social media.

 

The event included a litany of speakers with conspiratorial ties and beliefs ranging from UFOs to a man who claimed that he was the original author of The Matrix movie, a claim that was rejected in court.

On Telegram during the conference, Carmine interviewed a person who claimed the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, which left 20 children and 6 adults dead, was faked by the government and claimed “anti-gravity tech” and the scam technology known as “med beds” would be forthcoming.

 

Biasiucci and Finchem are not strangers to conspiracy conventions. In 2021, both spoke at a QAnon convention full of conspiracy theories and antisemitic propaganda.

Finchem has also fundraised with QAnon adherents and had major support from the QAnon community during his failed bid for statewide office in 2022.

One of those major supporters, Juan O. Savin, was also a speaker at Quantum Summit 2.

Ukraine admits attacking key oil pipeline to EU

The bloc’s eastern members rely on the Russian network for energy supplies

 

TheUkrainian General Staff has confirmed that one of the targetsof Tuesday’s mass drone attacks was Russia’s Druzhba oil pipeline system, a key delivery route to EU countries, according to a statement on its official Telegram channel.

 

Druzhba is one of the world’s longest networks, transporting crude some 4,000km from Russia to refineries in the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia

 

“Ukraine’s security services carried out the operation, reporting explosions near the linear production dispatching station ‘Stalnoi Kon’ (Steel Horse) in Russia’s Oryol region, which manages the pipeline’s operations,”the statement read.

 

Hungary, which relies on oil shipments through the system, has called the attack “unacceptable” and accused Ukraine of threatening its sovereignty. Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto announced that crude shipments via the pipeline had been temporarily halted, but later resumed.Szijjarto criticized the European Commission, arguing that assurances it had offered regarding the safety of Hungary’s energy infrastructure had been repeatedly violated.

 

According to media reports, three Ukrainian fixed-wing drones struck the Druzhba terminal in Russia’s Bryansk Region.

 

The attack was part of a wider assault involving more than 340 UAVs hitting civilian targets across Russian territory,killing at least 3 people and injuring over 20and causing a fire at a Rosneft oil depot in Bryansk.

 

Ukraine has repeatedly targeted Russian energy infrastructure throughout the conflict, despite resulting supply disruptions for Kiev’s European allies.

 

In January, Ukrainian forces attempted to attack a compressor station of the TurkStream pipeline, which supplies natural gas to Turkish customers and several European countries, including Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Greece.

 

In March 2024, Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region, causing a fire and temporary shutdown. Similarly, in January of that year, a drone attack hit a fuel depot in St. Petersburg, reportedly damaging storage tanks.

 

The most notable attack on Russian energy infrastructure during the conflict was the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines in September 2022. The explosions, which severely damaged Nord Stream 1 and 2—key conduits for Russian gas exports to EU—sparked international speculation about the perpetrators. This is brainwashing, a construct of dark magic or telepathic intrusion from entities attracted to you, or posession. It just got worse and worse uptil 23-24 y/o beeing the epic of the battle despite having a gf my age.

Dark entities are numerous and knows things about you, they will do everything they can to indoctrinate you so if you have given into it before they will be persistant.

Vivid thoughts came rapidly and often. Giving in just a little felt like it gave miles of fuel for more torment and kept the ball rolling: i would get overwhelmed and eventually entertained the tought tho it was just rarely i would break like this. I would have rapid toughts even in social settings at any time or place and often. It was like this for years to one degree or another despite fighting it like hell, it was hell.

 

What i should have done:

When you do get the intrusive toughts dont push it away just let it pass and immediately counter the tought with a positive one, always cut it off at the stem.

If you just have some toughts and your still young, then do this and let it go. If this wasn't anough to adapt a healthy mind after doing this for a while and its persistant you might not be able to free yourself just by constantly rejecting and fighting so seeking help would save you years of torment or save your life.

If you are not able to fight at all times, if you are under serious torment and you give into it even a little bit, especially if its been ongoing then the best option is theraphy, theraphy is the easy and fast way to be free and fighting blind is not going to work so your situation might require it.

Especially if your into like very young ones get some help.

Go to a expert. Just because I tackled this at a young age after a very long fight doesn't mean you can disarm it as easily. You probably wont be able to do it alone if it has grown on you for so long.

Experts wont judge, but dont tell anyone else its happened (rip).

It might be unavoidable. When your attitude should be to accept dark desires, they should be restricted to adults, and not involve children. You do not have to put the darkness into practice in real life, fantasy alone will satisfy the natural darker aspects of your conciousness. This is healthy.

To be free easier adopt healthy attitudes like sticking to your age range in real life, if you date young, people will look down on it: 18-22 when your 30+ is dirty.

If you have a healthy mindsett then dream attacks can be brushed off without bouthering you, toughts might come for some time after youve freed yourself because your subconcious is purging.

See for yourself by incorporting a healthy attitude then eventually attacks will reduce or stopp entirely and wont bother you.

Libertarian-leaning Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) is remaining defiant even in the face of a potentially serious primary challenger supported by President Trump.

 

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, Trump has declared political war on Massie for opposing the Trump-backed funding bill aimed at preventing a government shutdown. The president has urged Republican lawmakers to rally behind a continuing resolution (CR) to keep the government funded through September.

 

But Massie is a hard no. He has slammed the bill as a Uniparty deal that fully funds USAID while providing zero funds for the border wall.

 

“The CR is a UNIPARTY deal. It doesn’t fund the wall. It does fund USAID,” he wrote. “The democrats depart for a retreat on Wednesday, so they’ve already agreed to provide enough votes to pass the CR. Meanwhile, our election mandate will wane by this coming Sept.”

 

“I’m not voting for the Continuing Resolution budget (cut-copy-paste omnibus) this week,” he added. “Why would I vote to continue the waste fraud and abuse DOGE has found? We were told the CR in December would get us to March when we would fight. Here we are in March, punting again! WTFO”

 

Massie’s position infuriated Trump, who demanded someone challenge Massie in a GOP primary while comparing him to disgraced neo-con warmonger Liz Cheney.

On Tuesday afternoon, Massie responded to Trump’s primary threat by vowing not to cave to Trump while claiming Canada will eventually bend the knee.

 

“POTUS is spending his day attacking me and Canada,” Massie wrote on X. “The difference is Canada will eventually cave.”

 

A Massie primary challenge would prove quite different than previous ones backed by Trump. Unlike Cheney, Massie has considerable support from MAGA conservatives who see him as ally against the Deep State, big government, and endless wars.

 

It would be best if both Massie and Trump made peace and united against the globalists and radical leftists trying to tear our nation apart.

Waltz to talk to Russian officials ‘soon’

 

The US national security advisor made the remark on Tuesday following Ukraine’s agreement to a US proposal for a ceasefire

 

US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz has announced that he will get in touch with his “Russian counterpart” in the coming days to discuss a potential settlement to the Ukraine conflict.

 

The official made the remark following negotiations with a Ukrainian delegation, who reportedly agreed to Washington’s proposal for an interim ceasefire.

 

At a press conference with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia late on Tuesday, Waltz said that the Ukrainian delegation had made it clear that “they share President [Donald] Trump’s vision for peace” and “his determination to end the fighting.” The official added that Kiev’s representatives had “made concrete steps and concrete proposals.” (BS)

 

“I will talk to my Russian counterpart in the coming days,” Waltz added.

 

According to the US national security advisor, “as a result of this positive step forward, the president has decided to lift the pause on aid and on our security assistance to Ukraine going forward and that’s effective immediately.”

 

The official was referring to the suspension of assistance that had followed a heated altercation between Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky and President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance at the White House late last month.

 

Rubio, in turn, stated that the Ukrainian delegation had expressed readiness to enter into a ceasefire and into immediate negotiations with Russia. The secretary of state added that the “ball is now in [Moscow’s] court,” saying he is hopeful Russia will “say yes to peace.”

 

When asked if the ceasefire is partial or comprehensive, the secretary of state reiterated that the “offer is to stop the shooting,” stressing that halting hostilities is essential for further peace negotiations.

 

“Obviously now that’ll be delivered to the Russians… through our diplomatic channels,” the diplomat clarified.He said that Washington seeks a permanent resolution to the conflict “in a way that’s acceptable and enduring for both sides.”

 

Replying to a question as to whether Washington has set any “deadline” for Moscow to respond, Rubio said that the US hopes “the Russians will answer… yes as quickly as possible,so we can get to the second phase of this which is real negotiations, not never-ending dialogue.”

 

He arguedthat the “best goodwill gesture the Russians can provide” is to agree to an immediate cessation of the fighting.

 

(This may be a trap or mistake, Kiev had already abused and violated two ceasefires, plus they droned the shit out of Russia yesterday. And Putin has said in no uncertain terms will they be tricked by another one. I hope this is a dodge and weave by the U.S.)
