An abortion, by definition is the taking of the life of the unborn.
Once born, Im pretty sure DRs are required by law to assist/save/attempt to save the life per their oath. Just like an Emergency cannot deny life saving help to any person from anywhere, if they come in for a life threatening emergency. They are required to do minimal care to stabalize.
How is this different? And are "some people" purposely misinterpretting the law to suit their means? If so, that's murder.

Rodrigo Duterte ran the Philippines for six turbulent years, during which he oversaw a brutal crackdown on drugs, openly threatened critics with death and tongue-lashed a host of global leaders from the Pope to former US President Barack Obama.
On Wednesday, the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Netherlands confirmed the former Philippines leader was now in its custody.
