Note in cases like this if something happens they will be checking all the phones and anyone they talk to so on so this way it will be known if they are jumping out with orders or is a prime skit now as they get desperate now to extort for money.
My assessment is that the CIA had taken in to many assets over the years and now they are older maybe need money. This where they are most often the ones that are being exploited for information and intelligence to the cartels or people that came from the area.
This is a fact so on this is now one of the largest issues that was seen to be going on now. That as communist policies and immigration was allowed and used as cover to bring assets in that lead to some things but nothing large enough to bring down the organization they ended up give info back…
Perhaps people underestimate the cartel ability to plant someone in this way… money that large so on can say well we know that someone got this amount of time so on and we know a traitor got this amount of time but was released as an asset… so then if they can recreate this with a small investment so on and limit damages of things it maybe worth it to set up a disloyal line working with a competitor expect the one person they say will become the asset and are told to sell out to the government…
This I believe is being found out and used to plant people more and more in the areas they want them.
