Man unlawfully detained for simply recording in public. Cop insists he has to ID when asked even with no crime. She finally gives up and says he's free to go, then supervisor arrests him for failure to ID. Under the law, they had no cause to detain or ID him, but they do it anyway.
They don't care about our rights, they don't care about our laws, they don't care about our Constitution. They are domestic terrorists and they should be treated like it.
It is an easy win, but the cops don't pay it so they have no actual incentive to stop violating rights. They are either given qualified immunity or even when it's stripped, the city/county/state will usually pay it, so it comes out of tax payers pockets.
Infiltration implies it's only a portion. It's not. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. There may be "good people" who became cops, but the entire orchard that is LE in this country is rotten and on fire. Where are the supposed "good cops" standing up for their brothers and sisters, and I don't mean the ones in blue.
They need to ask themselves what is their root, LE, or Liberty.
I've watched many depositions of officers sued who think nothing of doing it again. They don't care, it doesn't come out of their pocket, it comes out of We the People's pockets. Even after being sued, even after receiving ordered additional training, they've STILL said they'll do it again. They don't care about the law. No one hates the actual law and our rights and constitution in this country than LE. It just "makes things difficult".

No. When you sue the cops, the money you're paid from winning comes from We the People (taxes).l, not the cops. We the People pay it. Your "solution" is to keep doing that.

Why do you want the people to keep paying cops victims? Wouldn't it make more sense to treat criminal cops like criminals, and stop throwing other peoples money at their victims?
