Former Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger said Monday on CNN’s “The Lead that he would “crush” President Donald Trump in court if the Justice Department brought charges against him for his work on the January 6 Committee.

Host Jake Tapper said, “You were pardoned. You didn’t ask for a pardon. It was preemptive just in case Trump’s Justice Department goes after you and other members of the January 6 Committee. What was your reaction when you saw Trump’s post last night, declaring your preemptive pardon void and vacant?”

Kinzinger said, “Well first off, I’m trying to figure out what he’s trying to distract from, because that’s what all this is always a distraction to try to get people’s attention. Or maybe he hasn’t felt like he’s gotten enough attention. But look, Jake. it’s like, bring it on. like, honestly. So you know, we had an election. I fought against Donald Trump. I wanted Kamala Harris to win. January 6 was a big thing, but America made a different choice. Fine. I’m ready to move on. I’m like, look, we made it very clear what happened on January 6. America made a decision.”

He added, “There is one person that’s obsessed about the six because he still has been basically deemed guilty in the court of public opinion, and that’s Donald Trump. And he can’t handle it. He obsesses about it. so my reaction to him is like, you know what? Then bring it. Sstop talking about it. Stop being all verbose. Stop pretending like you’re tough. Bring the charges then if you really want to do it because we will crush you in court.”

Left-wing actress Mia Farrow jumped to her social media Monday to spread conspiracy theories about the Trump administration’s deportations of violent Tren de Aragua gang bangers to El Salvador.

The Rosemary’s Baby star jumped to her account on the left-wing echo chamber BlueSky app in reply to a post made by Vice President JD Vance, who wrote “There were violent criminals and rapists in our country. Democrats fought to keep them here. President Trump deported them.”

To that, Farrow hinted that the Trump administration maybe didn’t deport any criminals at all because “We have no idea who was sent.” She also promulgated the false claim that officials “ignored” a judge’s “binding” orders to stop the deportation.

“We have no idea who was sent to that nightmare prison in El Salvador. They were denied a hearing.” she wrote.

“Trump regime ignored a Judge’s order (binding under the law),” she said, and added, “The ppl were sent via military plane so – if they had already taken off as claimed, the plane could & should have turned back.”

“Lock him up,” she concluded.

Boston-born Hillary “Hilaria” Baldwin, the wife of actor Alec Baldwin, defended her Spanish accent as “code-switching,” and claimed “The whole world was mean to me.”

“You know what it’s called? Code-switching,” Hilaria said on Sunday’s episode of TLC’s reality series, The Baldwins.

Alec Baldwin’s wife went on to reveal that she only recently learned what the term “code-switching” means, because “the whole world was mean to me.”

“I had to learn about it because the whole world was mean to me, and so I had to learn it. It’s code-switching,” she said.

Notably, “code-switching” refers to when a person changes the way they typically speak in order to fit in with whomever they are around at the time. This can transpire as someone deviating from their typical language, accent, dialects, tones of voice, or mannerisms, among other aspects.

As Breitbart News reported, Hilaria faced a flurry of backlash in 2020 after she was accused of faking a Spanish accent in a series of X posts that shared video footage of the yoga instructor altering her speech.

In one post, Hilaria was infamously seen appearing to forget the English word “cucumber” during an appearance on NBC’s Today show.

At the time, the It’s Complicated actor’s wife — born Hillary Hayward-Thomas in Boston to American parents — responded to the criticism claiming that her Spanish accent comes and goes depending on her mood.

Weissmann: AG Bondi, Press Sec Leavitt Comments Leading to ‘Constitutional Crisis’

Former federal prosecutor Andrew Weissmann said that Monday, on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt and Attorney General Pam Bondi’s comments led to a constitutional crisis.

Commenting on President Donald Trump deporting more than 250 migrants to El Salvador and U.S. District Judge James Boasberg ordering the deportations halted, Leavitt posted on X, “A single judge in a single city cannot direct the movements of an aircraft carrying foreign alien terrorists who were physically expelled from U.S. soil.”

Host Nicolle Wallace asked, “Is a constitutional crisis upon us?”

Weissmann said, “The answer is yes.”

He continued, “I’m more concerned by the statements coming from the press secretary saying no judge can do this. I’m sorry, who on God’s green Earth is she to say that? That’s what the courts are for.”

Weissmann added, “Pam Bondi, she is free to criticize the judge in terms of she thinks he’s wrong. She is saying that we’re appealing it. All of that is fair game. But she went further. And she said that he is, by his ruling, supporting terrorists. That is the first line of her statement. That is from the Attorney General of the United States. And so to me, it’s those comments that are leading to that constitutional crisis. That is just not how you speak whether you’re the head law enforcement officer or anyone else in the government.”(The lower courts were never in the Constitution, that’s where they are wrong. Nolte: Gavin Newsom’s Podcast Backfires with California Voters

Failed Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) recently launched a high-profile podcast and the response from voters can only be described as a backlash.

CA 120 surveyed 1,000 California voters specifically about Newsom’s podcast with Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Overall, the numbers were not good for Newsom, a 2028 presidential-wannabe.

Only 24 percent of those surveyed said the podcast helped them see Newsom as more moderate, while 17 percent said it made them less likely to see him as a moderate.A majority of 59 percent said it made no difference.

Only 13 percent of those surveyed said the podcast improved their perception of Newsom, while 26 percent said it harmed their perception — that’s negative 13 points on that question. A majority of 58 percent said nothing changed in their perception.

Prior to the podcast,Newsom somehow had a 52 percent favorableto 48 percent unfavorable rating with Golden State voters. After the podcast, that number dipped a net ten points to just 47 percent favorable. (WTH in CA give 52% favorability. Interviewing Kirk and Bannon pissed off both sides)

His “very favorable rating” tanked from 25 percent to 18 percent.

Among liberals, the podcast dropped Newsom’s favorability rating from 46 to 30 percent — a 16-point collapse.

Only one in five of those who heard Newsom’s podcast said they wanted to tune into future episodes.

This polling does not take into account the reaction to Newsom hosting former White House advisor Steve Bannon, which resulted in an even bigger backlash among such high-profile Democrats as Oscar winner Jane Fonda.

Like the national Democrat Party and the legacy media, Newsom has painted himself into a corner wherethe only way to survive is through fealty to the 20 percent of hard leftiststhat make up the left’s base of activist and financial support.

Democrats like Newsom and fake news outletslike CNN, NBC, the Washington Post, and the New York Timescannot survive without the support of that 20 percent, which is why they are forced to take the 20-percent side on common sense issues where 80 percent of the public agree: border enforcement, flying gang members out of the country, expelling foreign radicals who paralyze universities, removing men from women’s sports and private spaces, cheap energy, law and order, etc.

Newsom cannot “moderate” without killing his chances of winning the 2028Democrat presidential primary. In the same way, CNN and the Washington Post cannot moderate without their customer base dropping to zero.

With all their lies and lunacy in support of things like open borders and this transsexual nonsense, Newsom, Democrats, and the corporate media have alienated all the Normal People, probably forever. So that 20 percent is all they’ve got.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was found to “best reflect the core values” of the Democrat Party in a new CNN poll, narrowly beating failed presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Sen. Bernie Sanders(I-VT).

The poll, conducted March 6-9 among approximately 500 Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents, resulted in the far-left congresswomancoming out on top with ten percent of the votefor representing the party’s “core values”:

Harris followed closely with nine percent, and Sanders came in third place with eight percent.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) followed with six percent of the vote, then former President Barack Obama and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) with four percent, respectively.

The rest of the Democrats named by the respondents received two percent or less of the vote, with former President Joe Biden receiving one percent and Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) coming in dead last with zero.

Over 30 percent of the respondents did not offer a name in response,with one person answering, “No one, that’s the problem.”

The CNN poll also revealed theDemocrat party’s favorability among Americans has reached a “record low” of 29 percent, “fueled in part by dimming views from its own frustrated supporters.”

Putin aide comments on Ukraine ceasefire talks

Russia is committed to finding a path to peace despite Kiev’s increased drone attacks on civilian infrastructure, Yuri Ushakov has said

Russia “has not lost hope” in a possible ceasefire and resolutionof the Ukraine conflict despite Kiev’s stepped up attacks on Russian territory, President Vladimir Putin’s foreign policy aide Yury Ushakov has said.

Speaking to Kommersant on Tuesday ahead of a planned phone conversation between Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump, Ushakov saidthat Moscow is “grasping at every opportunity” for a swift settlement. On Monday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin and Trump are scheduled to talk on March 18, their second telephone call since the US president’s inauguration in January.

Trump has said that he will discuss control over territory and “dividing up certain assets” with Putin on Tuesday. They are also expected to discuss the 30-day ceasefire proposed by the US.

“A week has already passed since Trump’s proposal [for a 30-day truce]. And what do we see? The most powerful drone attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian territory in history. And then another attack,” Ushakov stated. “But we have not lost hope. We are grasping at every opportunity. But they need to talk to each other.”

The March 11 kamikaze drone attack referenced by Ushakov was the largest ever by Kiev. It targeted multiple regions, including Moscow, and resulted in 11 civilian deaths and multiple injuries.

Moscow has strongly condemnedsuch “barbaric” attacks involving hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), some reportedly loaded with shrapnel to maximize casualties. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that the assault was planned in advance and timed to coincide with the US-Ukraine talks in Saudi Arabia on resolving the conflict.

At the Jeddah negotiations last week, Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire. Shortly afterward, Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, traveled to Moscow to present Putin the details of the proposal.

The Russian president has endorsed the ceasefire in principle but insisted on resolving several issues before it can go into effect, including the fate of Ukrainian forces currently encircled in Russia’s Kursk Region.

Although the details of Witkoff’s meeting with Putin have not been undisclosed, Trump has suggested progress was made,stating that the White House received “some pretty good news”on the ceasefire plan and that recent US-Russia discussions had been “very productive.”(Funny no one ever said Ukraine talks were good news or productive!)

Ex-Soviet state to audit USAID programs – media

Kazakh authorities will examine their “alignment with stated goals and actual results,” Orda.kz claims, citing the economy minister

The Kazakh government is planning to audit all programs being implemented in the Central Asian nation under the auspices of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), local media outlet Orda.kz has reported.

Washington’s primary agency for funding political projects abroad found itself in the crosshairs of President Donald Trump shortly after he assumed office in January. The new administration imposed a 90-day funding freeze on USAID pending a review, citing concerns of corruption and inefficiency.

In an article on Tuesday, Orda.kz, citing Economy Minister Serik Zhumangarin’s response to a parliamentary inquiry, claimed that a specialworking group was set up within Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry last year, which is tasked with scrutinizing USAID’s activities in the country.

The publication quoted the official as clarifying that a “detailed analysis of funded projects and programs will be conducted,including an assessment of their alignment with stated goals and actual results.”

Moreover, the US agency’s “relationships with other organizations, including governmental and non-governmental” as well as its financial flows will reportedly beput under the auditors’ microscope to check for “possible cover-up schemes, inconsistencies in spending, and conflicts of interest.”

According to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry,throughout 2024, USAID had 28 long-term programs running in the country, encompassing the economy, energy, healthcare, civil society, and media sectors. The activities of some of those extended beyond Kazakhstan, targeting the broader Central Asian region.

The total funding allocated for Kazakhstan in 2023–2024 stood at $26.5 million.

Last month, the Indian Express reported thatUSAID’s allocation of $21 million, which had been frozen by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and was presumably meant to foster “voter turnout in India,” was earmarked for neighboring Bangladesh.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson in February, Mike Benz, a former State Department official, alleged thatUSAID had funded last year’s regime change in the South Asian nation because of Hasina’s opposition to a US military basein the region. The US Department of State previously dismissed similar claims made by the deposed prime minister as “laughable.”

Amid reports of USAID’s involvement in India’s political processes, the Foreign Ministry in New Delhi statedthat authorities were looking into the “deeply troubling” information.
