ResearchFag checking in because I'm up to my neck doing research into certain nonprofit organizations with bank accounts in foreign countries.
I'm noticing that the Forms 990 filed by the nonprofits have a question that says:
At any time during the calendar year, did the organization have an interest in, or a signature or other authority over, a financial account in a foreign country (such as a bank account, securities account, or other financial account)?
If "Yes," enter the name of the foreign country: ___.
So now my curiosity's up, because I've learned that there is also a requirement for the nonprofits to file FinCEN Form 114, Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR).
Now for my QUESTION: do any of you guise have any experience with this kind of thing? Specifically, does anyone know if there is a way for us to get ahold of the FinCEN Form 114, Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) that these scumbags filed?
Thank you in advance, in case anyone knows.
