1 Peter 4:7

Now the end of all things is at hand. Be ye therefore sober, and watching in prayer.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, and watch, for your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour;

Therefore let us not sleep as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
