TX has been invaded with radicals like what they are doing in GA. GA is a mafia state, and a human trafficking pipeline,,the republicans are really betrayers of the state.

Game On Losers

European Union approves first set of retaliatory tariffs on U.S. imports

PUBLISHED WED, APR 9 20259:18 AM

WATCH LIVE

KEY POINTS

The European Commission, the bloc’s executive arm, said duties would start being collected from April 15. The response package was unveiled last month targeting a range of goods.

The European Union on Wednesday voted to approve its first set ofretaliatory measures to counter tariffs imposed by the U.S. on steel and aluminum.

The European Commission, the bloc’s executive arm, said duties would start being collected from April 15. The response package was unveiled last month targeting a range of goods.

The 27-nation bloc had warned it would act to protect European business and consumers after U.S. President Donald Trump imposed 25% duties on the metals.

“The EU considers US tariffs unjustified and damaging, causing economic harm to both sides, as well as the global economy. The EU has stated its clear preference to find negotiated outcomes with the US, which would be balanced and mutually beneficial,” the European Commission said. (Reciprocal tariffs are unjustified.Tariffs for me and not for thee. The EU has a lot more to lose than the U.S.)

The EU also faces tariffs of 20%, along with over 180 countries and territories, as announced by the White House leader on April 2.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at the time said the EU was ready to retaliate unless negotiations with the U.S. administration were successful.

“We are prepared to respond,” she said, adding that the EU was preparing for further countermeasures to protect its interests and businesses. But, von der Leyen also called for talks with the U.S., saying it was “not too late to address concerns through negotiations.”

Maros Sefcovic, the EU’s commissioner for trade and economic security, said Monday that the bloc would start collecting a first tranche of tariffs on U.S. imports from April 15, with a second set of measures following on May 15.

The U.S. tariffs are impacting 380 billion euros ($420.45 billion) worth of Europe’s exports to the United States, amounting to around 70% of total exports, Sefcovic said during a press briefing. (They never tell how much tariffs they charged America for the last 40+ years, I wonder why?)

“To put it in perspective, that’s over 80 billion euros in duties, an eleven-fold jump from the 7 billion [euros] the U.S. currently collects,” he added.

‘European aggression’ behind all global tragedies – Lavrov

Russia has long tried to warn the West against rewriting history, the foreign minister has said

Western European countries have once again “taken up arms” against Russia, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said, commenting on the increasingly hostile stance of many governments toward Moscow.

Addressing the constant calls to prepare for a presumed Russian attack – a notion which Moscow has dismissed as baseless – Lavrov said all previous global conflicts were sparked by similar aggressive actions from Europe.

“We are witnessing another wave in which Europe is taking up arms against Russia, and by the looks on some faces, even growling at Russia. After all… all global tragedies began with aggressive actions by Europeans: The Napoleonic Wars, World War I, and World War II,” he said in an interview for the TASS Children project released on Wednesday.

Lavrov added that during World War II, nearly all “neutral” European countries, in addition to those officially aligned with Nazi Germany, fought alongside Germany – including France.

“They did have a resistance movement, but like most other European countries, the official authorities in Paris meekly surrendered to the will of the victors… and French troops fought battles on the side of Hitler’s Germany, taking part in a number of punitive operations,” he said, adding that “there were many examples of this.”

Lavrov went on to say that France and the UK are “obsessed” with “defeating Russia on the battlefield,” as evidenced by the billions they have spent on Kiev’s war effort and recent discussions about deploying troops to Ukraine, supposedly in a peacekeeping role.

He accused the West, including Washington, of installing what he called an “openly Russophobic Nazi regime” in Ukraine as part of its goal of defeating Russia.

“Some want to quickly and finally erase from history the pages of their national shame, collaborationism, connivance with the Nazis,” he said.“While others see in Nazi ideology some new instrument for maintaining their positions on the European political scene.”

Lavrov added that Russia has long tried to warn the West against rewriting history.

“Consigning history to oblivion, one’s spiritual and moral values, one’s roots, if you will, all this has become one of the main reasons for what we are now seeing in Ukraine,” he said, in reference to the authorities in Kiev who honor World War II Nazi collaborators as national heroes and “undermine and denigrate” the role of the Soviet Union in defeating Nazi Germany.

“We will fight against this,” Lavrov said, expressing hope that “not everyone has forgotten the lessons of history.”

“Many leaders… are beginning to understand the dead end and catastrophic consequences,”he said, referring to attempts to defeat Russia.

Ukraine ‘betrayed’ its history – Lavrov

Under Western influence, the nation was plunged into a “social amnesia,” forgetting its Russian roots and ideals, Russian FM has claimed

Ukraine has “betrayed” its own history by allowing the West to bring a Nazi regime to power in Kiev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said. In an interview for the TASS Children project released on Wednesday, the diplomat said the West’s actions were deliberate, aimed at bringing about a “strategic defeat” of Russia.

“The forgetting of history, their spiritual and moral values, their roots, if you like, all this has become one of the main reasons for what we are now seeing in Ukraine,” he said, referring to the ongoing conflict, which he described as one that pitted the authorities against their own people from the outset.

Lavrov accused theWest of trying to rewrite history by “instilling oblivion of Russian roots”and promoting ideas in Ukrainian society that led to what he called “social amnesia.”

“This was used by the Americans and Europeans to bring an openly Russophobic Nazi regime to power in Ukraine that declared war against its own people, seizing power through an illegal coup d’etat, calling those who disagreed with this coup terrorists, and starting a real war against them,” he said.

Lavrov noted thatamong European countries, there are two views on confronting their own history with Nazism– some seek to “quickly erase the pages of their national shame,” while others see Nazi ideology as a “tool for maintaining their positions on the European political scene.” He pledged that Russia would continue to fight both trends.

“Our ambition is to ensure that this sacred memory never leaves history, never leaves the memory of all generations, that it remains unchanged. And we are convinced of our historical, moral and human rectitude,” he concluded.

Commemorations of World War II-era nationalist figures with ties to Nazi Germany have been common in Ukraine. Ukrainians hold annual torchlight marches in honor of Stepan Bandera, a leader in the militant Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), which collaborated with Nazi Germany and was involved in the massacre of more than 100,000 Poles, Jews, Russians, and Soviet-aligned Ukrainians.Less than two months ago, the Ukrainian city of Rivne marked the 120th birthday of Ulas Samchuk, a Nazi collaborator and anti-Semitic propagandistwho welcomed the mass killings of Jews during the war.

Moscow has repeatedly warned of a Nazi revival in Ukraine, citing “denazification” as a central aim of its military operation against Kiev. Western officials and media, however, have largely downplayed such concerns, often dismissing the allegations as “Russian propaganda.”

https://www.rt.com/russia/615429-ukraine-betrayal-russian-history/

The Nazis will ultimately overrule and attack the European countries, so the rise of Hitler’s plan has come again.

Ukrainian national team goalie ‘hoped Ovechkin’s legs would be torn off’

Eduard Zakharchenko made the comments before the Russian star broke the NHL scoring record

The goaltender of the Ukrainian national hockey team, Eduard Zakharchenko, wished that Russian star Alexander Ovechkin would be maimed before he could break the National Hockey League’s all-time scoring record.

The Washington Capitals forward tied the record last Saturday in a game against the Chicago Blackhawks before breaking it the next day on the road against the New York Islanders.

A day before the game against the Blackhawks, Zakharchenko spoke to Ukrainian news outlet Sport24ua. Asked about Ovechkin, the goalie smiled and said he hoped “his legs will be torn off and he won’t succeed.”

Zakharchenko went on to say that Ovechkin “does not deserve the admiration of the public,”pointing to the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. He acknowledged, however, that he was following Ovechkin’s pursuit of the record, as were other members of the Ukrainian national team.

“In any case, it’s a world record. But I wouldn’t want [Ovechkin] to [succeed]. I’m completely satisfied with Gretzky,” he said.

Ovechkin is a three-time world champion with the Russian national team and took home the 2018 Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals, which he has spent his entire NHL career with.

Gretzky, who is widely regarded as the greatest hockey player of all time, needed 1,487 games to tally 894 goals. Ovechkin tied the record in his 1,486th game and broke it in the next.

After breaking the record, Ovechkin thanked his teammates, coaches, and fans. “All of you fans, all the world, Russia… We did it boys, we did it!”he said.

Zakharchenko was born in the Russian city of Vladivostok before later moving to Ukraine with his family. He started his adult hockey career in Russia’s third league. In 2017,he was suspended from all competition by the International Ice Hockey Federation over allegations of match-fixing in a game Ukraine played against South Koreaat the World Championship. Ukraine’s hockey federation banned him for life.

He was later pardoned in Ukraine after his international ban expired and re-joined the national team in 2021.

Kiev summons China’s charge d’affaires

Ukraine has claimed it has captured two Chinese nationals fighting for Russia in Donbass

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has summoned China's chargé d'affaires in Kiev over what it claims is Beijing’s involvement in the conflict with Russia, Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga announced on Tuesday.

Earlier, the same day, Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky claimed that Kiev’s forces had captured two Chinese nationals that were supposedly “part of the Russian army.”

The development “puts into question China’s declared stance for peace and undermines Beijing’s credibility as a responsible permanent member of the UN Security Council,” Sibiga said in a statement published on X, adding that his ministry demanded “an explanation.”

His statement came after Zelensky posted a video of a man in military fatigues using gestures and unintelligible sounds. The Ukrainian leader claimed in an X post that Kiev’s forces “captured two Chinese citizens” in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Zelensky referred to it as “the Donetsk Region,”calling it “Ukrainian territory.”

The DPR officially joined Russia along with three other former Ukrainian territories in 2022 following a series of referendums, which Kiev has not recognized.

According to Zelensky, Ukrainian forces have also obtained “identification documents, bank cards and personal data” of the alleged Chinese nationals. “We are currently verifying the facts,”he added. He also demanded an immediate reaction from the US, Europe and anyone “who wants peace.”

Neither China, Russia, the US nor the EU have officially commented on Kiev’s claims.

Ukraine has repeatedly accused other nations of aiding Russia, accusing Iran of providing drones and North Korea of sending troops. Washington and its allies had also previously claimed that Pyongyang had sent some 12,000 soldiers to Russia for training, and for possible deployment in the Ukraine conflict.

Tehran has repeatedly denied accusations and insisted that it supports neither side in the conflict.

Russia and North Korea struck a security deal last year that involved pledges to assist one another in case of an armed attack. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it was up to the two nations to decide how they fulfil their mutual commitments under the treaty.

https://www.rt.com/russia/615412-ukraine-captured-chinese-nationals/

Ukraine would be wise to back off China, they can do more damage than Kiev can stand. That’s the arrogance of Kiev leaders. They are always lying and whining about something,it’s so unfair no one treats them as an equal country, because they are not. They can’t even fund their own useless war.

AI is pro-Western – Russia’s human rights chief

Neural networks have become “powerful propaganda machines,” according to Valery Fadeyev

Foreign artificial intelligence systems are pushing Western ideological narrativesand could serve as powerful propaganda and censorship tools, Valery Fadeyev, the head of the Russian Human Rights Council, has stated.

Speaking at a roundtable on AI threats on Tuesday, Fadeyev said thathe and his team had tested foreign neural networks by asking questions about hot-button political issues– including the breakup of Yugoslavia and the Ukraine conflict. After the test run,he concluded that “we are on the brink of an ideological and informational catastrophe.”

“The texts that these chatbots produce contain ideologically charged content. They are ideologically driven Western texts. Powerful, unprecedented propaganda machines have been created,” he argued.

According to the human rights chief, the responses provided by foreignAI platforms are largely based on Western sources and filter out non-Western perspectives. He argued that this violates the Russian Constitution, which stipulates the freedom of access to information. “In practice, when we use neural networks, we receive pre-censored information, so it is probably unwise to talk about freedom of access to information here.”

Fadeyev argued thatthe influence of AI is now stronger than that of some traditional US-funded state media outlets, for which US President Donald Trump has cut funding.

“Many observers were optimistic – perhaps this is a sign of a new relationship with the US.But why would the Americans need Voice of America or Radio Liberty when they now have in their hands this colossal power – this ideological weapon?”he said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that homegrown AI systems have been incredibly effective in improving security and state governance, stressing that the country must become a world leader in this domain. In 2023,he warned that Western-produced AI systems should not be allowed to dominate the Russian market.

EU and UK at odds with US over Ukraine peace efforts – Russian diplomat

President Trump has caused a “serious chasm” in the West, as other nations pursue conflicting goals, Dmitry Polyansky has warned

The UK and the EU are pursuing objectives in the Ukraine conflict that clash with Washington’s pro-peace efforts, according to Russia’s deputy envoy to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky.

In an interview with RT on Tuesday, Polyansky stated that US President Donald Trump’s call for a negotiated resolution of the conflict – viewed by Moscow as a Western proxy war against Russia –has created a rift with European allies who are unwilling to alter their positions.

Ukraine is in fact a private military company which is fighting for Western geopolitical interests,”he said. The Trump administration’s policy shift has caused a “serious chasm in the Western camp. But the interests of the UK, for example, and Brussels … have not changed.” (A private military company, who is paying for it?)

European officials supporting Kiev are both frustrated and anxious, Polyansky noted, but they also exhibit “a great degree of wishful thinking,” publicly claiming that “things are going their way.” He expressed confidence that Trump’s desire for peace is genuine and will not be undermined by other actors.

While Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has a history of acting at the behest of foreign interests,Polyansky asserted that the military situation heavily favors Russia. He indicated that theUkrainians “understand that they don't have any cards” to playandtheir limited options include enlisting “some of the great powers to fight directly with Russia or to involve the United States to pressure Russia.”

Kiev and its European allies are conveying to Trump that Moscow is not negotiating in good faith, Polyansky remarked. He pointed out that during the Tuesday UN Security Council session on Ukraine, European representatives were urging Washington to take decisive action against Russia.

Polyansky criticized Western officials for turning a blind eye to Ukrainian violations of a US-mediated moratoriumon attacks against energy infrastructure, noting that Washington appears reluctant to address this issue publicly.

The diplomat asserted that Trump is in a good position to resolve the crisis by confronting its root causes. The US leader “has all the means to do it, but he has to understand and to do something about the true colors of the Kiev regime, which is cheating, which is deceiving, and which is just fulfilling the geopolitical interests of the others,” he said.

https://www.rt.com/russia/615433-polyansky-interview-ukraine-conflict/

Perhaps Trump’s “supposed” reluctance is due to Kiev’s intent to blow up the world with nuclear explosions and they don’t win.

White House ordered to reinstate AP access

The news agency was barred from the press pool over a dispute over how the Gulf of Mexico is named

A federal judge has ordered the White House to restore access for the Associated Press to presidential events. The news agency was kicked out of the press pool for refusing to adopt the term “Gulf of America” for what has traditionally been known as the Gulf of Mexico.

Reporters from AP, one of the world’s oldest, were barred from Air Force One and the Oval Office after in February the agency declined to use “Gulf of America,” the name designated by US President Donald Trump for the body of water bordering the southeastern coast of North America. It opted to stick with the traditional term Gulf of Mexico, arguing that it is well established and recognized across the globe.

Trump himself has lashed out at the AP, branding it “a radical left organization.” In response to the ban, the agency filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, alleging that the exclusion violated First Amendment protections of press freedom.

White House deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich has argued that while the agency’s right to “dishonest reporting” is protected by law, it does not have a “privilege of unfettered access to limited spaces” where certain presidential events take place.

On Tuesday,US District Judge Trevor McFaddenruled in favor of the AP, stating that the government cannot exclude journalists from presidential events based on their editorial decisions. The White House has until the end of the week to appeal the order.

In his ruling,McFadden stressed that the court does not order the government to grant the AP permanent access to presidential events and “does not bestow special treatment” upon the agency.

“The AP is not necessarily entitled to the ‘first in line every time’ permanent press pool access it enjoyed… But it cannot be treated worse than its peer wire service either,” he said, noting that the order does not impose any rules on government officials about who they give interviews to or whose questions to take. (The Press should have lost their unfettered access when the started the first Russia Hoax, and piled on with many hoax’s thereafter.)

AP spokeswoman Lauren Easton welcomed the decision, noting that the ruling “affirms the fundamental right of the press and public to speak freely without government retaliation.”Meanwhile, AP Executive Editor Julie Pace wrote in an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal that the lawsuit was much bigger than a dispute over a body of water. “It’s really about whether the government can control what you say,” she said.

(Trump needs to get rid of the EO of Obama that allows the press to propagandize on America soil, once and for all!)
