House passes the "No Rogue Rulings Act", a bill to stop activist judges from abusing their power and holding the President’s agenda hostage.
Every week, we've seen unelected district judges issue nationwide injunctions, or rulings, to prevent the President from exercising his Constitutional powers and carrying out the policies that he promised the American people he would enact. The most recent and notable example of this type of overreach is U.S. District Judge Boasberg, who tried to stop the Trump administration from deporting illegal gang members to an El Salvadorean super prison.
Not only was the President legally justified in deporting these dangerous criminals under the Alien Enemies Act, but most American citizens want them removed from this country.
District judges should not have the authority to unilaterally issue rulings that affect the entire nation.
