Spouse anon concerned today because she heard the SAVE act will require a married woman to prove her name since her birth certificate usually will have a different surname than her current driver license and such.
So……we just went through the text of the act together and didn't find anything about this, just to be sure we searched for terms such as spouse, wife, maiden, to see if we could find anything.
Asked her where she got this info from, she said she saw something online…. then reminded her she had to show all that stuff for the enhanced driver license which in our state is a step above REAL ID. The SAVE ACT states that a piece of identification that conforms with the READ ID ACT is acceptable.
Whew. I guess this is the woke excuse for why SAVE bad? Kind of like the abortion thing when they tried to scare women saying they might not be able to get a D&C in the event of a miscarriage, or might get prosecuted for having had one……assholes
