It’s a shame these ‘citizen auditors’ use the tactics they do though. They always — and I do mean always - film women staffers at public or government offices to provoke the women into fear. It’s stalky and creepy. The women get afraid enough to call police and that provokes the interaction (and confrontation) The ‘auditors’ are looking for.
They never target male employees to film. Bo road crew. No water department. Because they’d get themselves beat up. They are cowards.
Yes it’s legal. Yes it’s legal to film people in public. Yes it’s legal to film women in public. Yes it’s legal to make them afraid. Yes it’s legal to make them afraid enough to call police to protect them from your stalking. Yes it’s legal for you to film the police who arrive to see what’s going on and make sure you’re not a threat to the women you intimidated.
But it makes you feel powerful
It makes you feel in control.
