DOJ Fires Longtime Spokesman Who Worked for Deep State Operatives Robert Mueller and Jack Smith

by Jim Hᴏft Apr. 13, 2025

The Department of Justice has finally fired Peter Carr — the longtime spokesman who served as the public mouthpiece for two of the most politically charged anti-Trump crusades in recent history: the Robert Mueller and Jack Smith investigations.

Carr, who has been embedded within the DOJ since 2007, was abruptly terminated Friday by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, a Trump ally and former defense attorney who successfully represented the president against politically motivated charges in New York.

In a farewell email to reporters obtained by NBC News, Carr wrote: “I have just been informed by the DAG that I have been let go. It’s been a pleasure working with all of you.”

Peter Carr served as a Senior Communications Advisor at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), handling public affairs and media relations.

His role was to oversee communications for various DOJ components, including the Criminal Division.

As Robert Mueller’s spokesman, Carr spun the narrative that kept the mainstream media salivating for years— a narrative that resulted in zero charges against President Trump for collusion or obstruction.

Carr later played a central PR role for Special Counsel Jack Smith, whose own sham investigations into Trump were riddled with bias, legal overreach, and political timing.

Smith hit Trump with charges over both the 2020 election aftermath and classified documents at Mar-a-Lago — only to see both cases collapsed and dismissed in late 2024 after Trump’s historic comeback win.

Kremlin comments on rumored Putin-Trump summit

More preparatory work is needed before the two leaders can meet in person, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said

Russian President Vladimir Putin did not propose a personal meeting with US President Donald Trump when he met his envoy, Steve Witkoff, in St. Petersburg last Friday, according to the Kremlin.

Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday thatsuch a high-profile event “needs good preparation” and was not seriously discussed by Putin and the US envoy. Peskov previously saida leaders’ summit could happen “at the appropriate time,” and that the Russian president supports an eventual in-person meeting with Trump.

The issues that require discussions are very complicated, so it is inadvisable to expect some immediate results,” he added.

Last week’s negotiations with Putin were the third for Witkoff since he was appointed a special presidential representative advising Trump on conflict mediation. Before being tapped to work on the Ukraine conflict, he was involved in defusing tensions in the Middle East.

Putin and Trump have spoken on the phone multiple timessince the American leader’s inauguration in January. The new US administration wants Russia and Ukraine to agree to a ceasefire and a compromise peace deal.

Putin has said that Moscow would appreciate a diplomatic path to achieving its objectives, which it has repeatedly sought since before hostilities escalated in February 2022. However, Russia has ruled out agreeing to a frozen conflict, which it says would allow Kiev to rebuild its army and resume hostilities later.

Moscow expressed cautious optimism about relations with the US after the Trump administration acknowledged that NATO expansion in Europe was a significant factor in triggering the Ukraine conflict. However, it warned that some influential players, such as the UK and the EU, appear determined to prolong hostilities.

Ukraine could axe one-third of parliament – speaker

The population decline makes reducing seats a logical step, Ruslan Stefanchuk has argued

The number of seats in the Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada,=should be slashed from 450 to 300, Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk has argued. The lawmakercited the country’s declining populationas the reason for the proposed move.

The Rada is a year overdue for elections, which remain suspended under martial law. In a recent interview with Ukrinform, Stefanchuk said the current parliament is bloated.

There is a demand in Ukrainian society for a reduction in the number of deputies,” the speaker stated. “It’s not about sympathies or antipathies. It’s simply that the number of Ukrainians needing representation has decreased. When we had 52 million people, it was different, but now, with fewer citizens, a change needs to be debated.”

The current Ukrainian parliament is officially more than 70 MPs short and struggles to maintain the quorumnecessary to pass legislation. Initially, it had only 26 vacant seats, reserved for constituencies in Crimea and Donbass, where no elections were held in 2019 due to lack of control by Kiev.

Support for Vladimir Zelensky’s agenda in parliament appears uncertain. After US President Donald Trump labeled Zelensky a “dictator” in February, the Rada failed to pass a statement supporting the Ukrainian leader during a visit from senior EU officials. The resolution was eventually passed the following day.

Ukraine’s population was just under 52 million when it declared independence in 1991 amid the USSR's collapse. By the time of the last census in 2001, that number had dropped to 48.5 million. A 2024 government demographic report estimates the population in Kiev-controlled territories at 31.1 million.

Kiev anticipatespersistent labor shortages ahead, as many Ukrainians who have fled since the escalationof conflict with Russia in 2022 show little intention of returning.Officials are debating whether to attract millions of non-citizens to fill the gaps.(Tucker said this would happen, they will bring in Africans to replace Ukrainians)

Zelensky claims that his primary goal in the conflict with Russia is to protect the people. Moscow has accused him of waging a war “to the last Ukrainian” in pursuit of Western interests and personal ambition.

Kremlin says patience needed in talks with US

The backlog of unresolved issues between Moscow and Washington requires “painstaking work,” Dmitry Peskov has said

Russia does not expect any rapid breakthroughs in its ongoing diplomatic talks with the United States, given the scale and complexity of the problems that have accumulated in recent years, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Sunday.

Speaking to Russian television host Pavel Zarubin,Peskov stressed that both sides were engaged in difficult negotiations but warned against expecting swift results. His remarks come after Russian President Vladimir Putin met with US special envoy Steve Witkoff in St. Petersburg on Friday. The Kremlin said the talks focused on “aspects of the settlement of the Ukraine conflict,” while the White House described the visit as “another step in the negotiating process.”

Peskov addressed public expectations that negotiations would quickly improve relations between the two countries.

“Expectations by the public and journalists always border on maximalism,” he noted. “In reality, the situation is slightly different. It is much more complicated, requiring more work and requiring more time.”

It would be impossible to expect any immediate results… The problems are too complicated and they have been neglected for too long.

According to the Kremlin spokesman,Moscow and Washington are now working “very patiently” to restore relationsdamaged under the previous US administration, he explained. “Painstaking work is now being done to eliminate these consequences.”

“We are now walking down this road together, very patiently. We have many more steps to take, but one just needs to understand how serious is the damage that was done to bilateral Russia-US relationsunder the previous administration,” he explained. “Painstaking work is now being done to eliminate these consequences.”

The two sides have been engaged in indirect contacts since US President Donald Trump took office in January, with recent diplomatic efforts focused on a possible ceasefire in Ukraine and the normalization of Russia-US diplomatic –and potentially economic – relations.

Peskov also said that a meeting between Putin and Trump “will take place” eventually – but stressed that it would happen only “at the appropriate time” and with adequate preparation.

West seeks to partition Ukraine – senior Russian diplomat

Moscow will not tolerate a “toxic” neighbor manipulated by the UK, Rodion Miroshnik has warned

European nations hostile towards Moscow are advocating for the partitioning of Ukraine, according to Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s ambassador-at-large overseeing war crime investigations.

Last week, The Times of London reported an alleged US proposal to divide the country, reminiscent of Germany’s division following World War II.

Keith Kellogg, the US presidential envoy for Ukraine cited by the newspaper, later stated that his remarks had been misinterpreted by the British outlet.

Miroshnik criticized the approach on Saturday as an embodiment of whathe called the UK’s colonial mindset. “Europe has a habit of slicing up other continents and nations and parceling them out,” he stated in an interview.

He read the underlying message as the West saying: “We intended to partition Russia. Since we couldn’t pull that off, let’s divide Ukraine instead.”

The diplomat drew parallels between the proposal in The Times and the aftermath of World War I, noting that turning Arab regions of the formerOttoman Empireinto mandate territories governed by the UK and Francedid not ultimately bode well for the Middle East.

Moscow opposes the presence of any NATO member states’ troops in Ukraine, including the post-ceasefire security force suggested by the UK and France. Miroshnik insisted thatan “occupation” by those nations would merely confirm Ukraine’s status as a de facto “mandate territory” with a puppet government, primarily handled by the British. He added that Russia would not accept such a “toxic” neighbor.

“The time Kiev needs to lick its wounds may be alarmingly brief,” he cautioned. “It needs to reflect on its experiences, prepare, and train tens of thousands more militants via Britain before going to war again.”

Certain European NATO members have advocated for a “resilience force” to be stationed in Ukraine, presenting them as a deterrent. Kellogg said he did not propose dividing the country but rather discussed with the Times the idea of “zones of responsibility,” controlled by Russia, a British-French contingent, and Kiev itself, respectively.

Moscow views the Ukraine conflict as a NATO proxy war. Russian officials have argued that a lasting peace can only be achieved by addressing the fundamental issues, including the expansion of the US-led military bloc in Europe since the 1990sand the “neo-Nazi”character of the current Ukrainian government, which discriminates against ethnic Russians.

Ukraine to extend martial law – MP

Yaroslav Zheleznyak has claimed presidential elections can be held in November at the earliest if this proves to be the last such extension

12 Apr, 2025 13:57

Ukraine’s parliament will extend martial law by another 90 days early next week, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak has claimed. He further suggested that given this prospect, it is unrealistic to expect presidential elections in the coming months.

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky’s presidential term expired last May but he has refused to hold a vote, citing martial law. As a result, the Kremlin has deemed the Ukrainian leader illegitimate.

In a video published on YouTube on Saturday, Zheleznyak said that there is currently a lot of speculation as to whether the Verkhovna Rada will prolong martial law, especially in light of claims that a ceasefire with Russia could be within reach or that elections could be held in Ukraine soon.

“Yes, [martial law and the general mobilization]will be extended, and this will happen pretty soon: April 15-18,” the lawmaker from the Holos (Voice) party alleged.

He explained that the 90 days are counted starting from the end of the previous extension, as opposed to when the parliament ratifies the decision. According to Zheleznyak, this means that thenext three months of martial law in Ukraine will start on May 9 and last until August 6.

The lawmaker pointed out that “it is impossible, for example, to end martial law on August 6, and immediately hold elections on August 24,” since under Ukrainian law, they must be preceded by at least 60 and 90 days of preparatory processes for parliamentary and presidential votes, respectively. (Boy they are intentionally dragging this out because Zelensky knows he’s either kicked out or dead, there are many in Kiev that want him gone.)

Ukrainian parliament Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk has confirmed that the country’s lawmakers are almost certain to extend martial law before it expires on May 9.However, he also “stressed Ukraine’s commitment to democratic elections,” Reuters wrote on Friday. (KEK sure they are.!)

Speaking to Ukrainian media last week, David Arakhamia, the head of Zelensky’s ruling Servant of the People party in parliament, dismissed reports that Kiev was preparing to hold a snap vote to catch the opposition off guard.

”All parliamentary parties and groups have agreed that elections should be held six months after the lifting of martial law,” the lawmaker insisted.

Following the escalation of the conflict with Russia in February 2022, Ukraine imposed martial law and declared a general mobilization, barring able-bodied men aged 18 to 60 from leaving the country. Both have been repeatedly extended since.

In response to the mobilization drive being marred by corruption and draft dodging, the Ukrainian government lowered the conscription age to 25 and introduced stricter penalties for draft evasion and desertion last year.

Faced with severe troop shortages, Ukrainian enlistment officers have adopted increasingly draconian methods to fill the ranks, detaining random men in public, often violently, and transporting them straight to enlistment centers, as evidenced by multiple eyewitness videos circulating online.

(Down to the last Ukrainian! Could you imagine a Western country doing this with no end in sight?)

UK chief constable accused of ‘anti-white discrimination’

West Yorkshire Police has reportedly been prioritizing ethnic minority applicants, potentially contravening UK equality laws

West Yorkshire Police in the UK has come under scrutiny for its recruitment practices after its chief said he wants to “discriminate” against white job applicants and hire more ethnic minority officers, The Telegraph has reported.

The recruitment practice seeks to increase diversity in the police by prioritizing applications from ethnic minority candidates, the outlet said on Friday. The force allows individuals from underrepresented groups to submit applications year-round, while white British applicants must wait for specific recruitment windows.

The approach reportedly aims to address the disparity between the 9% of officers from minority backgrounds and the 23% representation of these communities in the West Yorkshire population.

Chief Constable John Robins of West Yorkshire Police has been pushing for changes to British laws in a bid to increase the number of officers from ethnic minorities in his force.

“It worked in terms of religion in Northern Ireland. We’ve tried really, really hard over many decades, especially in the last five to 10 years, but there’s just systemic issues around applications.I think the time has now come that legislation should change so that we should [use] positive discrimination,” the outlet quoted him as saying.

West Yorkshire Police is pausing applications from white British candidates while allowing year-round applications from under-represented groups such as Black and Asian people. According to the article, applicants were ranked in tiers, with Black and South Asian candidates in the ‘gold’ tier and East Asians in the ‘silver’ tier.

Meanwhile, applicants classed as ‘white others’ — including those from Britain, Ireland, and Eastern Europe —were placed in the lowest ‘bronze’ tier.

The recruitment policy has raised concerns about so-called positive discrimination, which is considered illegal in the UK, and has drawn sharp criticism, withConservative MP Neil O’Brien labeling it as “racist.”

“What West Yorkshire police are doing with their racist hiring policies and division of different ethnic groups is skirting the edge of the law,” he told The Telegraph.

With gun crime in West Yorkshire at a record high, many people might think local police might have more important things to be focusing on.

Former Prime Minister Liz Truss has also criticized the approach, saying thatBritain has a “serious problem” with “anti-white discrimination.”

“It cannot stand that a police chief is openly pursuing racist hiring policies and making political statements,” she wrote on X on Saturday. “Decisions are being made by unaccountable people who have been captured by woke ideology.”

The policy follows reports that West Yorkshire Police spent £1.4 million ($1.8 million) “patronizing” the public with diversity staff. The force reportedly employs 19 diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) officers and spends £361,000 ($476,000) on their training.

(England has fallen, the U.S. cannot save this freakin mess. They never tell the statistics how bad minorities are in policing. It’s not enough illegals steal their homes, now they will rule over the law, something they never had in their home countries)

‘Coalition of the willing’ split on Ukraine – EU’s top diplomat

(they are going regret that title)

Kaja Kallas has said European countries are not on the same page regarding a possible ‘peacekeeping’ force to support Kiev

There is currently no agreement within the “coalition of the willing” - a group of Western European nations willing to back Ukraine in more military conflict - regarding a potential joint troop deployment to the country, top EU diplomat Kaja Kallas has stated.

Early last month, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron said they were ready to lead a coalition of European countries to support Kiev with ground forces and aircraft, if and when Ukraine and Russia achieve a ceasefire. The proposal followed the launch of bilateral peace talks between Moscow and Washington, from which both the EU and the UK were conspicuously left out.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Kallas, the EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, said that the “different memberstates have different opinions and the discussions are still ongoing,” as quoted by The Telegraph.

When pressed as to whether the group’s meeting in Brussels on Thursday provided some clarity to the coalition’s plans, Kallas responded in the negative.

In contrast to her comments, UK Secretary of Defense JohnHealey toldthe gathering that“our planning is real and substantial. Our plans are well developed.”(but we can’t tell you about it until you join us, KEK)

Meanwhile, AFP cited unnamed European officials as saying later that daythat thus far, only six nations, including the UK, France, and the Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania – have pledged to contribute troops. The sixth country was not named.

Other potential coalition members have publicly expressed concerns about such a deployment and refused to make any commitment yet.

Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans saidthe group must have the US on board– a scenario already ruled out by Washington.

“What is the mandate? What would we do in the different scenarios, for example,if there would be any escalation regarding Russia?”he asked.

“It’s helpful if there’s a clarity of what that mission would entail, and what do we do,” Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson similarly stated. (This is hilarious)

Late last month, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni ruled out Rome committing troops to any force deployed in Ukraine.

Moscow has repeatedly warned the West against sending ground forces to Ukraine under any pretext, specifically objecting to troops from NATO countries appearing in the country. Last month, former Russian president and the deputy chair of Russia’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said that such a development would mean a war between the bloc and Russia.

(This is an example of why a Federal Government works with states, the EU can never make a joint decision.Ukraine Fatigue is setting in, if this was a real war, everyone would be dead by now.The EU runs like a train derailed from the tracks)

‘Europe’ should be built around Ukraine – PM

Cooperating with Kiev is a chance for the EU to rediscover its identity, Denis Shmigal has claimed (their identity would be slaves to Ukraine forever)

Ukraine is the central point around which a new geometry of Europe is being built, Kiev’s Prime Minister Denis Shmigal has said.

During his speech at the EU-Ukraine Business Summit in Brussels on Thursday,Shmigal tried to persuade the bloc to speed up the process of making his country a full member.

“Today, Ukraine is not just a country at war,” he said, referring to the conflict with Russia.“It is the central point around which the new geometry of Europe is being built.”

“We are not a buffer zone. We are not a gray zone. We are a new opportunity for Europe to rediscover its identity,” the PM added. (Yes they are a gray zone!)

Speaking about the global tariff war which was recently unleashed by US President Donald Trump, Shmigal urged the EU to “recognize the new reality,” in which “free trade no longer guarantees security. Energy is no longer apolitical, and supply chains are no longer neutral.”

He called upon Western European businesses to invest in Ukraine’s natural resourcesand stressed a vast potential for cooperation in such areas as the restoration and use of gas storage facilities, renewable energy, agriculture and IT.

Ukraine could become “an industrial heart of Europe,” which would provide for the EU’s rearmament and defense autonomy, the prime minister claimed.

Kiev was granted EU candidate status in 2022, a few months after the escalation with Moscow, in which the bloc fully backed Ukraine. However, Brussels has never set a definitive timeline for the country’s accession.

In order to join the bloc, the EU has demanded that Ukraine implement a comprehensive set of governance reforms, fight rampant corruption and harmonize its legislation with EU law. Full membership also necessitates the unanimous approval of all EU nations; countries like Hungary are currently skeptical about it.

Russia, which is categorically opposed to Ukraine’s membership in NATO, would not object to its EU accession, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in February. “It is the sovereign right of any country. We are talking about integration, economic processes, and here, of course, no one can dictate anything to any country. We are not going to do that,” he explained.

Mark Zuckerberg's empire at stake as Meta prepares to battle Trump's antitrust cops in court

Alexis Keenan Mon, April 14, 20251/2

Meta Platforms (META) is preparing for the start of a courtroom antitrust battle Monday with the US government in a case thatcould force Mark Zuckerberg to break up his $1.3 trillion empire and sell one of its crown jewels: Instagram.

If Zuckerberg is not able to convince President Trump to settle before the trial begins in a Washington, D.C., court before US judge James Boasberg,Meta will become the second Silicon Valley giant in two years to face off against the government’s antitrust watchdogs.(that’s why he bought a $30 million mansion in DC)

The first was Alphabet's Google (GOOG, GOOGL), which battled the Justice Department in court during parts of 2023 and 2024. Federal judge Amit Mehta ruled last August that Google illegally monopolized online markets for "general search" and "general search text.”

The final decision on what happens to Google's $2 trillion empire will be determined this year in a separate "remedies" phase of the search trial.Trump's DOJ has stuck to a Biden-era request to break up Google, calling for divestment of its Chrome browser, while standing down on a push for the tech giant to sell off its AI investments.

There could be more clashes to come. Federal prosecutors are still working up antitrust cases in pre-trial phases against Apple (AAPL), Amazon (AMZN), and Microsoft (MSFT).

The DOJ has also alleged Google illegally monopolized the online advertising technology market in a separate antitrust trial still awaiting a judge's decision.

'It's better to buy than to compete'

The government's case against Meta centers on the Federal Trade Commission’s claims that its leading social media platform,Facebook, used monopoly power to buy up, rather than compete with, smaller rival social media companies.

Facebook acquired Instagram in 2012 for $1 billionand WhatsApp in 2014 for $19 billion. Both mergers were given a green light by the FTC, following reviews.

"[It] is better to buy than compete," Zuckerberg allegedly wrote in an internal company email in 2008, according to the government's case.

One key part of the FTC's argument is that Facebook purchased Instagram in 2012 because it "lacked the business talent" to maintain its market dominance through innovation as smartphones drew consumers toward mobile internet.

In another 2012 acquisition, according to the government,Facebook bought then-shuttered Google social app “Glancee" allegedly to foreclose on the search giant’s social networking ambitions.

Facebook also bought the controversial market intelligence service Onavo in 2013. That, according to the FTC, helped Facebook identify increasingly popular mobile apps, including WhatsApp and a polling app called "tbh."

Intel to sell majority stake in Altera for $4.46 billion to fund revival effort

Intel has agreed to sell a 51% stake in its Altera programmable chip business to buyout firm Silver Lake for $4.46 billion, in the first major move under new CEO Lip-Bu Tan to revive the struggling American chipmaker.

The deal, announced on Monday, values Altera at $8.75 billion, a sharp decline from the $17 billion Intel paid in 2015.

The sale will provide Intel a cash boost as the chipmaker aggressively cuts costs to bolster its balance sheet, while it invests in a capital-intensive undertaking to become a contract manufacturer.

Shares of Intel were up 3.9% in premarket trading.

Since last year, Intel has taken steps to spin Altera out as a separate unit and said it planned to sell a portion of its stake.

“Today’s announcement reflects our commitment to sharpening our focus, lowering our expense structure and strengthening our balance sheet,” CEO Tan, who took the helm after former top boss Pat Gelsinger’s ouster, said.

Altera makes programmable chips that can be used for various purposes from telecom equipment to military.

Reuters had first reported in November that Silver Lake was among potential suitors competing for a minority stake in Altera.

The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2025, after which Intel expects to deconsolidate Altera’s financial results from Intel’s financial statements, the company said.

In 2024, Altera generated revenue of $1.54 billion and posted an operating loss of $615 million.

Raghib Hussain, who was an executive at custom AI chipmaker Marvell Technology MRVL.O, will succeed Sandra Rivera as Altera CEO from May 5, Intel said.

Pfizer scraps daily weight loss pill after liver injury in one patient

Annika Kim Constantino

• Pfizer said it would end development of its experimental daily weight loss pill after a patient experienced a liver injury that was potentially caused by the drug in a trial.

• The patient’s liver enzymes “recovered rapidly” after they stopped taking the pill, which is an oral GLP-1 drug called danuglipron.

• The patient had elevated liver enzymes, which often indicate damage to cells in the liver, but did not experience any liver-related symptoms or side effects, a Pfizer spokesperson told CNBC.

• The announcement adds to a string of setbacks in the company’s bid to win a slice of the booming market for GLP-1s, which mimic gut hormones to tamp down appetite and regulate blood sugar.

Pfizer

on Monday said it would end development of its experimental daily weight loss pill after a patient experienced a liver injury that was potentially caused by the drug in a trial.

The patient did not experience any liver-related symptoms or side effects, a Pfizer spokesperson said in a statement. They added that the patient’s liver enzymes “recovered rapidly” after they stopped taking the pill, which is an oral GLP-1 drug called danuglipron. The statement suggests that the patient’s liver enzymes were elevated, which often indicates damage to cells in the organ and is an issue that has been linked to some other obesity drugs.

The case occurred in a trial that quickly increased the dose of the pill over a short period of time, the spokesperson said. Pfizer’s decision to halt development of the drug came after “a review of the totality of information, including all clinical data generated to date for danuglipron and recent input from regulators,” according to a release.

“While we are disappointed to discontinue the development of danuglipron, we remain committed to evaluating and advancing promising programs in an effort to bring innovative new medicines to patients,” Dr. Chris Boshoff, Pfizer’s chief scientific officer, said in the release. He added that the company is still developing other weight loss drugs.

The announcement adds to a string of setbacks in the company’s bid to win a slice of the booming market for GLP-1s,which mimic certain gut hormones to tamp down appetite and regulate blood sugar. Pfizer is among several drugmakers racing to bring a more convenient weight loss medicine to a space dominated by weekly injections, but it is years behind competitors such as Eli Lilly

and Novo Nordisk.

Some Wall Street analysts expect the GLP-1 industry to be worth more than $150 billion by the early 2030s. Oral GLP-1s could grow to be worth $50 billion of that total, while injections would account for the rest, according to some analyst estimates.

Donald Trump's Annual Physical Exam Reveals What Medications He's Taking — and If He's Lost Weight Since His First Term

The president, whose vaccinations are all up to date, underwent the first official physical of his second term on April 11

Sun, April 13, 2025 (Here we go propaganda on Trump’s health and memoryWhere were all the reports on Joe in his first two months?)

The results from President Donald Trump's first physical exam of his second presidential term have been released.

Trump, 78, traveled to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the Washington, D.C., suburbs around 11 a.m. local time on Friday, April 11, when he spent the afternoon getting evaluated, before flying straight to Mar-a-Lago for the weekend.

Days later, on Sunday, April 13, White House physician Sean Barbabella released the results, revealing what medications Trump is taking, how much weight he has lost since his first term and more.

According to the health memo, Trump is on two medications for cholesterol control (Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe), taking Aspirin for cardiac prevention and he also uses Mometasone cream as needed for a skin condition.

As for his weight, the 6-foot-3 politician weighs 224 lbs. During his last physical as president in 2020, he weighed 244 lbs., per the Associated Press.

Elsewhere in the report, Barbabella said Trump — who is the oldest man to be elected president — is “fully fit” to serve, as he praised the president's “active lifestyle” for helping "to contribute significantly” to his overall health.

Some recent surgeries Trump underwent, per the health document, included cataract surgery on both eyes, though dates were not included.

In July 2024, Trump had a colonoscopy that found a benign polyp and diverticulosis, a condition that affects the wall of the colon.

As for Trump's vaccinations, "All recommended vaccinations are current, including travel-related immunizations," the memo stated.

"President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function," Barbabella said in the memo, highlighting that Trump's "days include participation in multiple meetings, public appearances, press availability, and frequent victories in golf events."

Earlier in the week, when announcing his physical would take place, Trump shared on his Truth Socialpage, "I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done!"

Though his predecessor, Joe Biden, was the oldest serving president by the end of his tenure, Trump became the oldest person to be inaugurated president earlier this year, as he was 78 years, 7 months on Jan. 20, 2025. He will become the oldest president in U.S. history if he serves out his full term.

Trump was notoriously secretive about his health during his first term and did not release any recent medical records as part of his 2024 campaign — even after a June assassination attempt, in which a bullet struck his ear.

In lieu of a medical report on the president's recovery, his campaign released a memo from Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician and Trump supporter. Jackson said only that he had reviewed the president's medical records and "completely concurred" with the treatment he received at Butler Memorial Hospital following the shooting.

Concerns about Trump's cognitive abilities were frequently raised during his first term and his presidential campaign. (It continues with more lies…)
