“However, this low‐altitude strategy requires three times more injection than high‐altitude SAI, and so would strongly increase side‐effects such as acid rain,” the study’s authors warn​.

Rather than developing new, specially-designed aircraft to reach the ideal 65,000 feet altitude, researchers from University College London and Yale now propose dumping sulfur at just 42,000 feet—within the existing capabilities of modified 777s​.

U.S. President Donald Trump says he plans to meet with Prime Minister Mark Carney “very shortly,” and remarked that the Liberal Party leader “hated Trump” less than Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.

“He’s a very nice gentleman, and he’s going to come to the White House very shortly, within the next week or less,” Trump said of Carney while speaking to reporters during a cabinet meeting on April 30.

The U.S. president said he has a “great relationship” with Carney, and that the former central banker called him on April 29 and asked to “make a deal.” According to a readout from the Prime Minister’s Office, Trump congratulated Carney during the call, the two agreed on the importance of Canada and the United States working together as “independent, sovereign nations,” and had agreed to meet in person.

Trump also said that both Carney and Poilievre “hated Trump” but that “it was the one that hated Trump, I think the least, that won.”

Rainbow Faith and Freedom, a Liberal-funded LGBT activist group, is compiling a database to rate Canadian religious groups on their compliance with radical gender ideology.

A Liberal government-funded LGBT activist group is compiling a list of religious groups which don’t comply with radical gender ideology in an attempt to “transform” belief.

According to their manifesto, Rainbow Faith and Freedom, a government-funded LGBT activist group, is building a database to rate religious groups, including churches, synagogues, mosques and temples, on their adherence to the LGBT agenda.

The group’s “second pillar” seeks to “transform religious attitudes and practices related to sexuality” with the “third pillar“promising to “deal with the existence of religious-based 2SLGBTQ+ discrimination in Canada.”

“This will be accomplished by developing and publishing a rating system for measuring inclusion and welcome of 2SLGBTQ+ people in local faith communities,” it continues.

After the data is collected, the group plans to “publish the level of welcome and inclusion of Canadian faith communities to help people evaluate their options.” Continue…

The New Democratic Party is on track to win only seven seats in the 2025 election, meaning it is five seats short of keeping official party status.

Jagmeet Singh stepped down as the leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP) after he lost both his seat and his party was decimated in Monday’s federal election.

Singh lost his seat by a wide margin Monday, finishing in third place in the Burnaby South, British Columbia riding that went to Liberal candidate Wade Chang, who beat out second-place Conservative candidate James Yan by a close margin.

Singh said in his resignation speech, before saying he would step down as party leader, “Almost eight years ago, I was elected leader of this incredible party and this incredible movement.”

As it stands, the NDP is on track to win only seven seats in the 2025 election, meaning it is five seats short of keeping official party status.

Monday’s election saw Liberal Party leader Mark Carney defeat Conservative rival Pierre Poilievre, who lost his seat. The Conservatives managed to pick up over 20 new seats, however.

As for Singh, he was pro-abortion and was responsible for keeping former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in power as he refused to topple the government via a non-confidence vote.

He was also accused by the Conservative Party of showing anti-Catholic bigotry, as reported by LifeSiteNews.

Singh served as leader of the NDP from 2017 until Monday and was an MP from 2019 until losing his riding in the 2025 election.
