[BACKGROUND STORY]

“In the November election, 7 in 10 Hispanic voters in Florida said they favored reducing the number of immigrants who were allowed to seek asylum in the U.S. when they arrived at the U.S. border, according to AP VoteCast. That was in line with Florida voters overall.

In 2024, Trump won not just Miami-Dade County but the central Florida counties of Seminole and Osceola, where many Venezuelans have immigrated, and made inroads in heavily Puerto Rican areas of Pennsylvania. He also flipped several South Texas border counties that were Democratic bastions for decades.

What initially catapulted Trump’s popularity in South Florida was his stance on the socialist governments that many exiles and their families fled, along with his focus on boosting growth and reducing prices. But at a rally in Miami days before announcing his third White House bid in November 2022,Trump said that, contrary to the belief of some, Hispanics liked his vows to crack down on illegal immigration.” (more)

Neo-Nazism on the rise in Europe – Kremlin

Europeans are “rightly” concerned by the trend and should fight against any manifestations of the ideology, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said

Neo-Nazism is on the rise in Europe and extensive efforts are needed to combat this, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Monday.

Peskov was asked to comment on a recent Politico report claiming that the leaders of Poland, France, Germany, and the UK had declined to attend Vladimir Zelensky’s Victory Day celebrations in Kiev.Ukraine has positioned the event as an alternative to the parade set to be held in Moscow on May 9 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany.

Asked if this refusal represented a shift in modern Europe’s attitudes toward neo-Nazism,Peskov said it is unlikely to become “a turning point” and claimed that “manifestations of neo-Nazism in Europe are quite significant.”

“The Europeans themselves understand this and many in Europe are rightly afraid of this,” Peskov added. He insisted that the fight against fascism should not be a “one-time event” but a constant and continuous effort at all levels of society.

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev also recently raised concerns over the rise of neo-Nazism in Europe. During a public lecture in Moscow last week, he insisted that “Nazism needs to be rooted out not only in Ukraine but in all of Europe.”

Peskov’s comments come after Politico reportedthat Zelensky had asked EU officials to visit the event in the Ukrainian capital as a show of “diplomatic force” against Russia. Meanwhile, the annual military parade on Red Square in Moscow is set to be attended by leaders from Brazil, Venezuela, China, Cuba, Vietnam, Slovakia, and elsewhere.

Zelensky recently appeared to threaten any foreign officials who opt to visit the 80th anniversary celebrations in Moscow, stating that Kiev cannot guarantee their safety during the event.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused Zelensky of openly threatening to carry out a terrorist attack on the Victory Day parade, citing it as proof that Kiev is not interested in peace.

Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a unilateral three-day ceasefire in honor of the Victory Day celebrations. Zelensky has declined the proposal, insisting instead on a 30-day unconditional ceasefire.

African state in talks to host migrants deported from US

Rwanda has confirmed discussions after Marco Rubio said Washington wants to send some of the most “despicable” people far away from America

Rwanda has entered negotiations with Washington to receive migrants deported from the United States, the East African country’s foreign minister said on Sunday. The development comes months after a controversial asylum agreement between Kigali and the UK collapsed.

In an interview with state broadcaster Rwanda TV, Olivier Nduhungirehe said talks with the US government were at an early stage.

“We are in discussions with the United States… It has not yet reached a stage where we can say exactly how things will proceed, but the talks are ongoing,” the senior diplomat stated.

US President Donald Trump campaigned last year on promises to tighten immigration policy and reverse what he viewed as his predecessor Joe Biden’s lenient approach. Since taking office in January, Trump has expanded the expedited removal of illegal immigrants and denied federal funding to sanctuary jurisdictions.

According to Reuters, a resettled Iraqi refugee was deported to Rwanda last month, while the Supreme Court temporarily blocked the removal of Venezuelan migrants accused of gang affiliation.

During a cabinet meeting at the White House last week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington is “actively searching for other countries” to take “some of the most despicable human beings” identified for removal from the US.

“And the further away from America, the better, so they can’t come back across the border,” he said.

Rwanda has presented itself in recent years as a host country for people removed by Western nations, despite warnings from human rights organizations, including the UN refugee agency, that deportees sent to the African state risk being returned to the countries they fled. The UK Supreme Court also declared the scheme illegal, deeming Rwanda an unsafe third country for refugee resettlement. Kigali has denied the allegations.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s administration scrapped the scheme upon taking office in July 2024, with Home Secretary Yvette Cooper stating it had cost taxpayers £700 million ($930 million). Starmer declared the plan “dead and buried,” asserting that it had “never served as a deterrent” to illegal immigration and would ultimately deport “less than 1%” of those arriving on small boats.

Rwanda pushed back after the deal’s termination, reportedly demanding £50 million in compensation from the British government.

So these countries that sent their people to cross our border, are going to be paid to take them back? Great, We lose more money. I hope that is not the plan. Plus won’t these migrants just go to other countries to invade.

Romanian PM resigns after anti-EU nationalist’s win

Marcel Ciolacu has stepped down after a shock presidential rerun that saw right-wing firebrand George Simion take the lead in the first round

Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu has announced his resignation and the withdrawal of his Social Democratic Party (PSD) from the ruling coalition, effectively dismantling the country’s pro-EU leadership.

Ciolacu’s move follows the stunning success of George Simion, leader of the right-wing Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), in Sunday’s presidential election rerun. With over 95% of votes counted, Simion is projected to secure 40.52% of the vote, according to the news site G4 Media – well ahead of his pro-EU challengers, former Senator Crin Antonescu and Bucharest Mayor Nicusor Dan, who both hovered slightly above 20%.

https://www.rt.com/news/616819-romanian-pm-steps-down-electoral-upset/

It looks like the US State Department that interfered in the last election, last year, bowed out and only the EU could interfere, I hope that is true. Romania leaders running are Anti EU fans, and are Trump fans, they want nothing to do with the EU and NATO.

If Republican Senators Do Not Confirm Ed Martin as US Attorney for Washington DC– Dirty Judge Boasberg Will Pick His Temporary Replacement

by Jim Hoft May. 5, 2025 9:45 am

Republican and Democrats can call their senatoror use the link below, and urge them to vote for Ed Martin. Don’t let Boasberg pick the next U.S. prosecutor for the District of Columbia.Mike Davis fills in the message, explains the reason for supporting him, pre-populates your senators and sends it off.

Link to lodge a complaint or call through Article 3 Project.com, directly to Senators and Congressmen, Prewritten, all Anons should do this today, it takes about 30 seconds. Send it to all your friends and families==

Some Senate Republicans, including Senators Bill Cassidy, John Cornyn, and Thom Tillis, Mitch McConnel have been identified as holding up the confirmation process.

Traitor Senators that vote won’t for Ed Martin (Grassley held it up):

Susan Collins

Tom Tillis

John Cornyn

Bill Cassidy

Mitch McConnell

Ed Martin is currently the Acting US Attorney for the District of Columbia. President Trump recently announced he nominated Ed for a permanent position as one of the country’s top cops.

Democrats and January 6 prosecutors are now targeting Ed Martin because they fear him and what he may expose.

In February, Ed Martin launched an investigation into threats against DOGE workers and revealed Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer as the target.

Ed Martin also launched an inquiry into former US Attorney Matthew Graves’ prosecutions of more than 1,500 January 6 protestors. He is specifically probing Graves’ abuse of the 1512(c)(2) obstruction charge.

In addition to probing Graves’ abuse of the 1512(c)(2), it was reported that Ed Martin humiliated numerous Biden DOJ prosecutors by transferring them to pursue misdemeanor offenses in the DC Superior Court.

“Those demoted include John Crabb and Elizabeth Aloi, who prosecuted contempt of Congress cases that sent Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro to jail for four months apiece. They include Jason McCullough, who helped lead the team that sent top Proud Boys leaders Enrique Tarrio, Joe Biggs and Ethan Nordean to prison… And they include Kathryn Rakoczy, who was a lead prosecutor in the Jan. 6 cases of Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and more than a dozen of his allies…” Politico reported.

Now, Democrats are striking back and targeting Ed Martin for ruin. Despite their clear minority in the US Senate, they are hoping to block Ed Martin’s confirmation so that crooked Judge Boasberg, who believes he is the sitting president, will be able to pick Ed’s temporary replacement.

And, once again, it appears that numerous RINO Senators are siding with Democrats on Ed Martin. Republican voters need to get activated!

Lara Logan published a tweet on X with four possible turncoats.

Senators: Collins, Tillis, Cornyn and Cassidy. And, of course, there are rumblings that Mitch McConnell will vote against Ed Martin. How disgusting.

Republicans face a May 20 deadline to confirm Ed Martin otherwise Judge Boasberg appoints his replacement.

According to DeepNewz, if the Senate does not act by this date, Judge James Boasberg could appoint a replacement U.S. Attorney under a law that allows federal judges to fill vacancies that remain unoccupied for an extended period. Supporters of Martin, including conservative figures and activists, have urged Senate Republicans to expedite his confirmation to prevent Boasberg, perceived as a left-leaning judge, from selecting a successor.

Bill Ackman on President Trump’s Efforts to Take Away Harvard’s Tax-Exempt Status: “When a university goes from being a university to becoming a political advocacy organization, it doesn’t deserve nonprofit status”

by Margaret Flavin May. 5, 2025 11:45 am

Hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman has been vocal in his criticisms of what is happening at his alma mater, Harvard University. After 31 Harvard student groups signed a letter blaming Israel as “entirely responsible” for Hamas’ barbaric slaughter of innocent Israelis, Ackman called on Harvard to release all of the names of the students to make sure the young Hamas supporters are never hired by a Wall Street firm.

Last week, President Trump announced he will be taking away the far-left University’s tax-exempt status after the school refused to comply with five key demands from his administration. Harvard instead filed a lawsuit.

“We are going to be taking away Harvard’s Tax Exempt Status,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It’s what they deserve!”

Harvard’s tax-exempt status has played a key role in amassing the nation’s largest university endowment standing at roughly $53 billion, with $2.4 billion ‘earned’ in the 2024 fiscal year, although Ackman’s assessment of the actual valuation does not paint a positive picture of the University’s financial state.

Ackman joined CBNC to discuss the latest move by the University to sue the Trump administration.

SquakBox’s Joe Kernen asked, “Bill, you’re an alumnus. What should Harvard do where you’d say, Okay, to get back in your good graces, what does the university need to do at this point?”

“Sure. The right thing to do, or I should say, the wrong thing to do is receive a letter from the administration and write back saying, ‘We’re doing nothing. In fact, we’re going to sue you.’ Okay, that’s what Harvard did,” Ackman stated.”What Harvard should have done, it should have said,‘President Trump, you make some good points.'”

“‘Taxpayer money coming to Harvard, that’s a privilege. It’s not a right. Taxpayer money going to an institution, the institution cannot have massive amounts of administrative blow, waste, bureaucracy. We’re going to eliminate it. We’re going to hire Alex Partners, a restructuring firm. We’re going to take a 3G, zero-based budgeting approach to the way we run our administration, things that are not… If inefficiency is causing harm, and we’re wasting taxpayer money. Mr. President, you’re right. Harvard has become…there is not viewpoint diversity at Harvard. Students are self-censoring their remarks in classrooms. Faculty are doing the same because people are afraid to have real conversations.'”

“You can’t learn. You go to college to be exposed to a broad array of ideas. I guess maybe I’m supposed to be looking at Joe…a broad array of ideas. That’s not happening at Harvard. Free speech is not happening at Harvard.”

“You acknowledge the areas where the President is absolutely correct, and you say, ‘Look, we’re going to fix those areas. We want to make a deal, Mr. President.'”

“What have we seen from Trump? He asked for the moon, shock and awe.

Same thing true for Harvard, that most recent letter. You could argue it’s certainly overreaching in some of the elements, but he wants to make a deal. Make a deal with the President.”

2/2

“Commit to fix these things, which, by the way, your alumni want you to fix. It’s in the best interests of Harvard. And treat Each shareholder on the taxpayer money as a fiduciary, and they’re not doing that. Harvard is not in a good financial position. This is something I think is not well appreciated.

They nominally have a 53 billion dollar endowment. I don’t believe the carrying values of their endowment. Eighty percent of the assets are invested in real estate, private equity, and venture capital. It’s not liquid. They’re apparently selling a billion dollar slice of their private equity. Watch where that gets priced relative to the carrying value of the portfolio. My guess is it could be 30, 40% below the current carrying value to get a bid.”

“In my business, if I owned a slice of something, I sold a piece of it at a 30, 40% discount, I’d have to remark my entire portfolio. So one, The endowment, in my view, is massively overstated in terms of what it’s really worth.”

“The second thing is no one talks about the fact that Harvard now has $8 billion of debt. I read the perspectives for the recent bond issue. You have 53 billion of overstated assets that are illiquid. You have $7. 9 billion of debt, which you owe. As a donor, do you want to give money to a nonprofit institution, which is going to go into the institution, going to go out the door to pay interest to bondholders?”

“My experience is nonprofits that borrow money, it doesn’t end well. Then you have, what do they rely on for current funding? Money every year from the US government, money every year from donations. Donations, I have to believe they’re down meaningfully, and tax-exempt status. Another reason that induces people to give money to their university is to get a tax deduction.”

“Fair or unfair to try to take the tax-exempt status away?” Kernan asked.

“I think it’s fair,” Ackman replied.

“Again, Harvard became, over time, a political advocacy organization for one party. When a university goes from being a university to becoming a political advocacy organization, it doesn’t deserve nonprofit status.”

“Harvard should It shouldn’t be a place where students go to learn and the best research gets done. It shouldn’t be a place that is allowing pro-terrorist organizations on campus and that only allows certain kinds of thinking and speech on campus. That’s a political advocacy organization. It’s not a university.”

“I don’t think we’re going to end up there where Harvard loses its tax-exempt status. I want Harvard to succeed. It’s been very important to me over time. But really, it got itself to a very bad place. And Alan Garber is a good president, but he’s not managing… ”

“The mismanagement here is… Penny Pritzker, if this were any other corporation, the notion that she’s still chairman of Harvard leading the charge here in terms of how Harvard managed everything from COVID, and I know we have to go, but it’s an important topic, to endowment management, to waste, to free speech, to who they hired as president of the university. It’s time for a change in leadership in the board at Harvard.”

In 2024, Ackman called for Democrat mega-donor Penny Pritzker to step down as the Board Chair for Harvard.

(Remember when Ackman has contributed millions and millions to Harvard and then found out how Antisemitic they were and revealed it a couple of years ago on X. He was so surprised as he is Jewish, he revealed a lot of this. And he became a Trump Supporter.)

Legal Immigrant from Africa Has Message for ‘Spoiled’ Protesting Leftists: “How can you hate one man just because he love his country?”(Video)

by Margaret Flavin May. 5, 2025 11:15 am

Protesters at a Tesla dealership in the Easton shopping district in Columbus, Ohio, photo by Kristinn Taylor, March 22, 2025.

Leftists across the country, many of whom are Boomers trying to relive their “glory days” of the 60’s, continue to protest against Donald Trump’s efforts to Make America Great Again.

While they lecture us to “believe all women,” they shout about bringing back a man who woke up in the middle of the night to slap his wife.

They shout about DOGE finding diabolical waste of taxpayer’s hard earned money across every component of the federal government because, apparently, they want the waste.

A legal immigrant from Africa, whose name is Fayz, had strong words for spoiled protestors and their endless public tantrums.

Fayz shared,“I’ve never seen such hate in a country like America. The way they hate only one man. Americans have been spoiled, and they think that the more they make noise, the more they get things done.”

“To get things done, calls for what? Pragmatic assessment on how you’re going to get things done. Not this wasting of time and just protesting somebody who loves this country. In my life, I’ve never seen such hate in a country like America, the way they hate only one man. How is that possible?”

“How can you hate one man just because he love’s his country? What is this?”

“I travel all the way from Africa to come to this country legally to make sure I realize the American dream. My kids are born here.”

Fayz spent some time arguing with the leftist protestors who, as expected, didn’t want to hear his perspective. (Part one)

“What you are doing is just sheer waste of time!” (Part two)

“America is the greatest country on earth.” (Part three)

Hikers Stumble Onto Iron Box, Find Fortune in Treasure from All Over the Globe Inside

by Ole Braatelien, The Western Journal May. 5, 2025 10:15 am236 Comments

Hikers in the Czech Republic discovered a cache of gold that experts said amounted to more than a quarter million dollars.

Walking in the Podkrkonosí Mountains, the hikers noticed an aluminum can protruding from the ground and an iron box about a yard away from it, the U.K.’s Daily Mail reported Tuesday.

When the hikers saw what the containers held, they visited an expert at the Museum of East Bohemia.

“When he opened it, my jaw dropped,” Miroslav Novak, the museum’s head of archaeology, said in reaction to the find.

“The can contained 598 coins, divided into 11 columns, each wrapped in black cloth,” Novak said. “The metal box contained a total of sixteen snuff boxes, ten bracelets, a wire bag, a comb, a chain, and a powder compact. All made of yellow metal.”

The hoard weighed more than 15 pounds.“For certain the coins are solid gold. We will need to analyse the rest,” Novak added.

The find was worth 7.5 million [Czech] Crowns, according to Novak, which is about $340,000.“The historical value of the treasure, however, is incalculable,” Novak added.

The hikers discovered the gold in February, but only recently did museum officials make the announcement public.

Museum conservationists are cataloging the coins and trinkets for future display, according to Popular Science.

While the discovery was a huge gain for the Czech Republic, the hikers were only entitled to 10 percent of the total value of the find.

The question remains, however, how the treasure trove ended up where it did. “It is difficult to say whether this is the gold of a Czech who had to leave the occupied territory after the Nazi invasion of 1938, the gold of a German who feared displacement after 1945, or Jewish gold,” museum Director Petr Grulich said.

“It could also be stolen goods from an antique shop, but we are not inclined to this option,” he added.

Vojtěch Brádle, a numismatist, said the coins may have been in the ground even before WWII.

“The treasure was hidden in the ground for a maximum of slightly over a hundred years,” Brádle said. “According to the dates stamped, it contains coins from 1808 to 1915.”

The coins hailed from a number of different countries, including Serbia, France, Belgium, Turkey, Romania, Italy, and Russia, according to Popular Science.

“So we know that the coins were in Serbia sometime in the 1920s and 1930s, but we have no idea how and when they got to eastern Bohemia,” Brádle said.

Democratic states sue Trump administration for blocking wind energy projects

Last month, the president’s Interior Department ordered a stop to a major offshore wind development that would have powered more than 500,000 New York homes. Erik Uebelacker / May 5, 2025

(CN) — New York Attorney GeneralLetitia James on Monday led a coalition of more than a dozen Democratic state attorneys general, who filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration for halting wind energy development throughout the United States.

“This administration is devastating one of our nation’s fastest-growing sources of clean, reliable, and affordable energy,” James said in a statement Monday. “This arbitrary and unnecessary directive threatens the loss of thousands of good-paying jobs and billions in investments, and it is delaying our transition away from the fossil fuels that harm our health and our planet.”

On the first day of his second term, President Donald Trump issued an executive action to immediately suspend all federal approvals for wind energy products, claiming the administration needs to conduct a more thorough review of the economic and environmental impacts of these projects.

“This withdrawal temporarily prevents consideration of any area in the OCS for any new or renewed wind energy leasing for the purposes of generation of electricity or any other such use derived from the use of wind,” Trump said in his Jan. 20 order. “This withdrawal does not apply to leasing related to any other purposes such as, but not limited to, oil, gas, minerals, and environmental conservation.”

Trump’s directive was immediately criticized by climate groups and green energy proponents, who argue that adding red tape to projects like this unnecessarily slows the country’s transition to clean, renewable energy.

The suing states, which in addition to New York include Massachusetts, California, Illinois and at least 10 others, claim that the administration’s directive flies in the face of years of bipartisan legislative support for offshore and onshore wind energy products.

They say that Trump’s Jan. 20 order, which they refer to as the “Wind Directive” in their lawsuit Monday, threatens tens of thousands of jobs, the loss of which could have a devastating impact on the states’ local economies.

“The Wind Directive has stopped most wind-energy development in its tracks, despite the fact that wind energy is a homegrown source of reliable, affordable energy that supports hundreds of thousands of jobs, creates billions of dollars in economic activity and tax payments, and supplies more than ten percent of the country’s electricity,” the states claimed in their lawsuit, filed in federal court in Massachusetts.

They also claim that it defies another one of Trump’s own executive orders, which declared a national emergency on the United States’ lack of energy supply and called for a production boost on domestic energy production — just not wind energy. In that executive order, Trump announced measures to encourage the development of “a reliable, diversified, and affordable supply of energy,” but notably excluded wind energy from its definitions, despite it meeting those very standards, according to the states.

Meanwhile, Trump has issued multiple directives to bolster the coal industry, leading the states to believe that his administration is unfairly targeting wind energy without reason from multiple angles. Last month, the Interior Department ordered a stop to a major offshore wind product that would have powered more than 500,000 New York homes.

They say that the Trump administration has offered no “detailed justification to explain the abrupt change in longstanding federal policy supporting the development of wind energy.”

“Nor have Agency Defendants provided any explanation for departing — with the President’s newly imposed extra-statutory review requirement — from past findings, based on numerous comprehensive assessments, that wind projects can proceed with minimal adverse effects on the environment and other interests,” the states added.

The states are seeking a preliminary injunction to stop the Trump administration from enforcing its unilateral freeze on wind energy development. Named defendants in their lawsuit include the Department of Energy and Secretary Chris Wright, the Department of the Interior and Secretary Doug Burgum, and Trump himself.

Monday’s lawsuit is one of several dozen filed by state attorneys general against the Trump administration for its unprecedented bid for power over federally approved directives. Trump has fired back at some of the states for defying his directives. Last week, he sued New York and Vermont for imposing “excessive” environmental regulations against fossil fuel companies.
