Missouri’s Democrat U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill’s husband, Joseph Shepard, has allegedly been targeted by whistleblower Craig Woods, said to be a former executive inside Shepard’s company, Missouri Equity Investors LLC and JA Shepard Companies. Remember that earlier this month, Shepard was implicated in a Low Income Housing scandal for receiving $40 Million from the Federal Government.
Keep in mind, that this is alleged to come down in the U.S. Senate Dining Room.
Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill’s husband used the U.S. Senate Dining Room to cut business deals selling tax credits tied to stimulus money, a whistle-blowing executive inside his company alleged on an audio recording exclusively obtained by The Daily Caller.
“The thing that irritated me about this was he [McCaskill’s husband Joseph Shepard] entertained these outside investors in the Senate Dining Room,” the whistle-blower said. “That’s where he closed the deal.”
The whistle-blower, Craig Woods, was a longtime high-ranking official within Shepard’s business empire, serving first as chief financial officer and then as vice president and chief underwriter for Missouri Equity Investors LLC and JA Shepard Companies.
So I think what you are hearing is audio of Craig telling the story to an unnamed Republican whose voice has been distorted, so as not to be recognizable.

It is critically important if you live in Missouri, that you get out the vote for Republican U.S. Congressman Todd Akin, who is running for McCaskill’s seat. We must take every seat in the Senate we possibly can, and the challenge isn’t an easy one. Akin has had some bad press recently for some awkward and frankly stupid statements about rape and pregnancy resulting from rape, but he is pro-life and nothing he said should warrant a vote for Claire McCaskill who has scandal trailing her skirt hem wherever she goes.

“Oh, hell yes,” Woods responded. “He [Shepard] doesn’t do anything — well, let me put it this way — he doesn’t do anything without Claire understanding it.”
