Cohen has claimed Donald Trump knew about the 2016 Trump Tower meeting

He is also reportedly prepared to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that Trump approved the meeting between his campaign staffers and the Russians

Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort were all present at meeting

Michael Cohen is reportedly prepared to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that then-candidate Donald Trump knew and approved the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between Russians and his campaign staffers.

Cohen, Trump's former personal attorney, alleged that Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr, was the one who informed him that the meeting would take place.

During the meeting, the Russians were expected to dish out dirt on Trump's Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Don Jr, his brother-in-law Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort, who was Trump's campaign chairman at the time, were all at the meeting.

There were four Russians in the room, including Natalia Veselnitskaya who reportedly has Kremlin ties.

According to CNN, sources claim that Cohen is willing to make that assertion to Mueller, but he doesn't have evidence, such as audio recordings, to corroborate his claim.

'He's certainly a source that is not credible,' Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, told Chris Cuomo on CNN's Cuomo Prime Time.

'Michael Cohen can't be believed unless it's corroborated five times,' Giuliani said.

'I talked to the president about this at length before as well as other witnesses and it's not true. Why would you expect it would be true from someone like Cohen? A lawyer who would tape their own client is a lawyer without any character,' he added.

Cohen did not immediately respond to a request for comment. His attorney Lanny Davis declined to comment.

The president has previously denied knowing in advance that the meeting was going to take place, and he has denied that there was any collusion between his campaign and Russia.

Moscow has also denied meddling in the election.

The lawyer representing Michael Cohen is ex-lawyer to Bill Clinton, BUT he is also a CURRENT lawyer to Dmitro Fritash who is a Pro-Russian Ukrainian Oligarch who the US is trying to extradite back to the US for charges.

Firtash is also closely linked to Manafort who lobbied in Ukraine for the"Party of Regions" as a member of the Podesta Group. Podesta Group and Manafort are up on charges for failing to register as FARA agents. (Among many other charges).

Lanny Davis's strategy is to convince Cohen to lie in court about Trump to try and make something stick. This is not going to work and will completely back fire. It will also completely screw over Cohen because Lanny Davis is more interested in trying to bring Trump down than he is in protecting his client.

Remember that earlier this month, Shepard was implicated in a Low Income Housing scandal for receiving $40 Million from the Federal Government.

Keep in mind, that this is alleged to come down in the U.S. Senate Dining Room.

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill’s husband used the U.S. Senate Dining Room to cut business deals selling tax credits tied to stimulus money, a whistle-blowing executive inside his company alleged on an audio recording exclusively obtained by The Daily Caller.

“The thing that irritated me about this was he [McCaskill’s husband Joseph Shepard] entertained these outside investors in the Senate Dining Room,” the whistle-blower said. “That’s where he closed the deal.”

The whistle-blower, Craig Woods, was a longtime high-ranking official within Shepard’s business empire, serving first as chief financial officer and then as vice president and chief underwriter for Missouri Equity Investors LLC and JA Shepard Companies.

So I think what you are hearing is audio of Craig telling the story to an unnamed Republican whose voice has been distorted, so as not to be recognizable.

McCaskill and Shepard are saying Woods is an unsavory character. The details are stunning, as are everything that comes out about McCaskill. Read the details at Daily Caller who broke this story.

It is critically important if you live in Missouri, that you get out the vote for Republican U.S. Congressman Todd Akin, who is running for McCaskill’s seat. We must take every seat in the Senate we possibly can, and the challenge isn’t an easy one.
