Judge Blocking Trump’s Harvard Efforts Was Previously Overturned By SCOTUS For Pro-Harvard Ruling

U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs, who recently blocked the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) effort to stop Harvard University’s enrollment of foreign students, is thesame judge who was overturned by the Supreme Court for siding with the school’s racist affirmative action policies.

Burroughs, an Obama appointee serving in Massachusetts, has litigated several cases involving Harvard. In 2019, she ruled in favor of Harvard when they were sued by Students for Fair Admission over discrimination against Asian students. The Supreme Court overturned her decision in 2023, declaring race-based affirmative action unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment.

Burroughs oversaw MIT and Harvard’s lawsuit against the Trump administration in 2020. The universities sued the DHS and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) when they tried to send home international students who were only taking online classes at American universities during the Covid-19 pandemic. ICE later rolled back this policy without a ruling from Burroughs.

Burroughs, at the request of Harvard’s attorneys, is also overseeing Harvard’s lawsuit against the Trump administration for pulling the university’s federal funding.On May 23, she issued a temporary restraining order blocking the effort.

Todd Lyons, the acting director of ICE, gave Harvard 30 days to rebut the DHS’s alleged grounds for withdrawing certification from the school’s Student Exchange and Visitor Program. In a Wednesday letter to the university director of immigration services, Maureen Martin, Lyons citedHarvard’s failure to comply with DHS student records requests, failure to curtail violence and antisemitism on campus, and ongoing national security concerns as reasons for the withdrawal. Harvard has been a target of the administration for a variety of infractions since Trump’s second term began.

But on Thursday, Burroughs nonetheless extendedher block on the DHS’sorder to stop Harvard University’s enrollment of foreign students and said she plans to issue a preliminary injunction.

Burroughs continues to be one of many rogue judges trying to foil the Trump administration.

Though the Supreme Court and Congress seem uninterested in intervening, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt insisted Thursday that the administration is making efforts to “tackle these rogue judges and the injunctions and blockades that we have faced.” She clarified that, by the president’s direction, the administration will comply with court’s orders while fighting them.

On Monday, Trump promised that he would win a fight with the courts and noted Harvard’s blatant judge shopping.

Currently, more than 200 lawsuits overseen by various district court judges stand between Trump and enacting the agenda that the American people voted for.

Nellie Ohr isn’t a new name in the Russiagate saga, but newly released documents from Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office shatter the fiction that she was just a low-level researcher and reveal her as a key conduit between Clinton operatives, the DOJ, and the FBI. The documents also pull back the curtain on a darker truth:an internal black hole FBI system designed not just to restrict access to sensitive Russiagate documents, but to bury them so completely that even FBI agents tasked with finding them wouldn’t know they existed.

What was already known about Nellie Ohr is that she worked for Fusion GPS — an opposition research firm led by former Wall Street Journal reporters Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch — who were hired by the Clinton campaign in April 2016 to manufacture the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. At the same time, her husband, Bruce Ohr, was a senior official at the Department of Justice. It was also known that Nellie Ohr gathered open-source information on various figures, including Trump campaign advisor Carter Page, which was then twisted to fit the collusion narrative.What was not known — until now — is just how deeply involved she was in the Trump-Russia collusion smear, how brazenly she lied to cover it up, and how the FBI actively aided in the cover-up.

According to the newly released document from Sen. Grassley’s office,a previously unseen 43-page FBI analysis from 2019, Nellie Ohr was involved in many aspects of the Russia collusion hoax, including in the drafting of the Steele Dossier.

The FBI analysis was initiated after then-Congressman Mark Meadows filed a criminal referral, alleging that Ohr had lied to Congress during her 2018 testimony about her role in producing supposed research that helped trigger the Trump-Russia investigation.Meadows had good reason to be suspicious.

As the analysis concluded, Nellie Ohr repeatedly lied under oath. The FBI found that despite her denials, she contributed directly to the writing of the Steele Dossier. One telling clue was an identical analytical error that appeared both in her research and in the dossier itself. Even more damning, the FBI recovered a deleted “FSB report” from a thumb drive which Fusion owner Simpson had given to Bruce Ohr to give to the FBI in December 2016. That same fictitious report had already appeared as part of the dossier given to the FBI by Steele two months earlier, in October 2016. The FSB report bore all the hallmarks of Nellie Ohr’s work, which likely explains why Simpson, or whoever created the thumb drive, deleted the report just four minutes after uploading it, before eventually giving it to Bruce Ohr to pass to the FBI. What they didn’t realize was that what they tried to hide was still recoverable.

It’s long been suspected that former British intelligence agent turned Clinton operativeChristopher Steele’s role wasn’t to generate the dossier’s content himself but to act as a cutout, lending British intelligence credibility to stories manufactured by Fusion GPS operatives and Clinton campaign affiliates. That part of the operation was wildly successful. To this day, many still believe it was Steele who wrote the dossier’s stories, when in reality, he was just the frontman.

The FBI analysis also reviewed emails of Trump-Russia material sent directly by Ohr to DOJ prosecutors, including individuals she never disclosed to Congress. Further, while under oath, Ohr claimed to have had no knowledge of the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation, insisting that her work for Fusion just happened to align with it. Those claims were also false.In reality, she was deeply embedded in the FBI-DOJ pipeline. Far from a passive researcher, she functioned as a conduit between Clinton-funded smear artists and federal law enforcement.

The FBI discovered that she deleted emails, met multiple times with Steele, and lied to Congressabout when she took ham radio classes. In truth, she became familiar with ham radio concurrently while working on the Russia collusion hoax, likely as a way to evade digital surveillance. Additionally,she was involved in the so-called Alfa Bank dossier, a fraudulent document pushed to the FBI by Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann in an attempt to spark yet another investigation into Trump. In short, Nellie Ohr was no low-level researcher. She was a central player and a key conduit linking the FBI, DOJ, and Clinton operatives driving the smear campaign.

But as bad as all that is,the bigger scandalmay be how the FBI handled this information.Instead of referring her for prosecution, they buried the evidence. The FBI analysis of Ohr’s lies was hidden and is only coming to light now,six years later, conveniently after the five-year statute of limitations for lying to Congress expired.

Perhaps even worse, the report exposes the FBI’s “black hole” system, where sensitive documents are dumped into “prohibited files” that remain unsearchable, even by other agents. This systemic opacity was repeatedly flagged by the very analyst who wrote the FBI’s report on Nellie Ohr:

“‘Prohibited Access’ status precludes investigators from detecting the existence of potentially relevant serials(…) when search terms that exist in the Prohibited Access–status cases are searched in Sentinel, the particular search will receive a false-negative Sentinel search response.”

In other words, there’s likely far more that remains hidden to this day, or “unknown unknowns,” as Donald Rumsfeld famously put

One critical question is whether Inspector General Michael Horowitz or Special Counsel John Durham ever had access to the FBI’s black hole system. The answer is that they probably did not.==

Another disturbing detail, also discussed in the FBI analysis, is something internet sleuths first uncovered in 2019 when Judicial Watch obtained a FOIA release on Bruce Ohr–related documents.

Buried in the records was a seemingly minor point: Nellie and Bruce Ohr traveled to Prague in February 2016.That stood out, not only because Prague was the city falsely cited in the Steele Dossier as the site of a covert meeting between Trump lawyer Michael Cohen and Russian officials, but also because, according to Wikileaks emails, February 2016 was the same month the Clinton campaign first discussed its anti-Trump smear operation, internally dubbed the “swift boat project.”

But there’s more to the Prague story. What online sleuths didn’t know back in 2019 — because the government FOIA censors conveniently redacted the name, supposedly for “privacy reasons” — was known to the FBI analyst tasked with investigating Nellie Ohr’s lies to Congress: Bruce and Nellie Ohr were accompanied on their February 2016 trip to Prague by none other than Timothy Thibault.

Yes, that Timothy Thibault.The disgraced FBI agent who could be described as an evil Forrest Gump: always popping up where the action is, always doing the wrong thing. Thibault was the agent who sabotaged the Hunter Biden laptop investigation, shutting it down under the bogus claim that it was Russian disinformation.He then manipulated FBI systems to make sure the case couldn’t be reopened, eerily similar to the black hole treatment given to files in the Nellie Ohr case.

He also oversaw the suppression of whistleblower Tony Bobulinski’s allegations about the Biden family’s business dealings. And when it came to the 2020 election, Thibault launched “Operation Arctic Frost” to seize government-issued cell phones from President Trump, Mike Pence, and other top officials, in an effort to tie Trump to the so-called “fake electors” narrative.

Indeed, the FBI analyst who investigated Meadows’ referral on Nellie Ohr not only knew that Thibault had traveled to Prague,but remarked that Nellie Ohr was “remarkably well connected” and questioned why Thibault went with the Ohrs in the first place. It remains one of the lingering, unexplained threads of Russiagate. There’s no direct evidence linking this trip to an anti-Trump operation but the coincidence is hard to ignore. Prague was a key element in the fraudulent Steele Dossier, and Nellie Ohr was feeding information into both the dossier and the DOJ’s Trump-Russia investigation.Maybe some of the answers are buried in the FBI’s black hole system.

In the end, it’s the same story: Nellie Ohr was caught, repeatedly and provably, lying to Congress.But instead of facing justice, she was protected. Like everyone else who pushed the Russia collusion lies, and the list is long, she walks away scot-free.

The Biden administration “ignored or dismissed” more than 65,000 reports related to migrant children— including more than 7,300 reports of human trafficking, according to details of a Department of Health and Human Services summary released by Sen. Chuck Grassley.

Of the reports, 56,591 were “notifications of concern, 7,346 reports of human trafficking and 1,688 fraud leads,” according to a press release from Grassley.The Trump administration has since taken the responsibility on, having processed more than 28 percent of the backlog left by the Biden administration, according to the press release.There have been seven indictments, 25 arrest warrants, 11 arrests and three convictions, according to the release.

In a statement,Grassley, who has been spearheading efforts to save migrant children being exploited and abused, alleged that theBiden administration placed “unaccompanied migrant children with dangerous sponsors and actively obstruct[ed] law enforcement and Congress’ efforts to rescue vulnerable kids.”

The Trump administration said it would now address the issue.

“[Office of Refugee Resettlement] is digging through nearly 65,000 reports of concern about unaccompanied alien children — most ignored, many dismissed— each one a missed chance to protect a child,” the Department of Health and Human Services said in a post on X. “This isn’t just paperwork. This is a systemic failure of the Biden administration. It is children’s lives put at risk. Now, it’s all ORR hands on deck. We’re combing through every report, every detail — because protecting children isn’t optional.”

“The Trump administration WILL NOT look away. The system may have failed before, but not on our watch,” the post continued.

Grassley recently sent a letter to HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., detailing the “poor vetting of sponsors of unaccompanied alien children.”Grassley submitted a law enforcement referral in 2024 flagging potentially criminal activity in the alien unaccompanied children program. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) then identified more than 100 sponsors but, according to Grassley’s letter to Kennedy, theBiden administration failed to respondto adequately to the subpoenas issued by law enforcement.

“[Homeland Security Investigations] analyzed [referrals] anddetermined over 100 sponsors were suspicious enough to warrant further investigation, from a single HHS emergency intake site,” the letter states. “In response, HSI issued subpoenas to HHS for information to assist it in finding suspicious sponsors identified in my referral, and the children they sponsored.”

But, according to the letter, thenHHS Secretary Xavier Becerra “failed to fully comply with two-thirds of subpoenas they issued.” This contributed to HSI “only [finding] a handful of sponsors and children,” the letter states.

An April 2025 report from the DHS and Office of Inspector General confirmed Grassley’s concerns, finding theBiden administration lost track of hundreds of thousands of migrant children.

The Biden administration saw more than 10 million illegal alien encounters, according to estimates from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Exclusive: DOJ Opens Civil Rights Investigation Into University Of Virginia’s DEI Regime

The U.S. Department of Justice has opened a civil rights investigation into the University of Virginia over its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) regime,which it has attempted to secretly continue despite a directive from its board to eradicate the ideology.

The Justice Department confirmed itsinvestigation into the school to America First Legal (AFL),The Federalist learned, after the group sent a 98-page letter to Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon, a UVA alumna, on Friday detailinghow UVA is attempting to disguise its DEI infrastructure in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

The university’s Board of Visitors voted to dismantle DEI earlier this year, but actually executing that directiveis left to the very people who injected the ideology into the school in the first place, as The Federalist reported.

“UVA has not dismantled its DEI framework —it has merely rebranded it to evade legal scrutiny. What the law prohibits, UVA simply renamed,” AFL counsel Megan Redshaw told The Federalist. “We are grateful the DOJ has taken our findings seriously and is taking action to hold UVA accountable. No institution that receives taxpayer funds is above the law.”

After the UVA board’s vote, the Department of Justice sent an April 28 letter to the school’s president, rector, and legal counselrequiring that the school prove it was dismantling the DEIregime they had built in order to be in compliance with civil rights law.

The department pointed to racialized admissions schemes and preferencesmade unconstitutional by the Supreme Courtas well as an executive order signed by President Donald Trump aimed at dismantling “‘DEI’ apparatuses and instruments of discrimination based on race, skin color, ethnicity, national origin, and other impermissible, immutable characteristics.”

As AFL pointed out, UVA did not comply with the directive,but rather said it had “made progress” on eradicating DEI, and that “additional work remains to be done.” The school also started a working group in order to “promote open inquiry, constructive conversation across differences, and development of a civic mindset,”but did not say how its DEI regime had been dismantled.

Rather, like many other schools, the school decided toget rid of some websitesand mentions of DEI but keep the ideology functioning full steam ahead in the background.

“UVA has rebranded its DEI programs using euphemismslike ‘Inclusive Excellence,’ ‘Advocacy and Opportunity,’ ‘Community Engagement,’ ‘Strategic Wellness and Opportunity,’ ‘Inclusion and Belonging,’ and ‘Viewpoint Diversity,’while continuing to applyrace-, sex-, and other identity-based preferences in violation of federal law,” AFL stated.

The school also simply rebranded job titles, as opposed to firing the DEI staff (many of whom maintain pronouns in their professional biographies). Rachel Spraker, who used to be called the “Assistant VP for Diversity and Inclusion,” but is now the “Assistant VP for Equity and Inclusive Excellence,” once said that “white people are actually dying from whiteness too.” (It’s funny it’s almost most whites doing this.)

The Darden School of Business at UVA similarly rebranded its DEI page,but maintains scholarships that restrict eligibilityfor sex, race, and other characteristics backed by a $125 million endowment for candidates they claim to be “diverse” — which typically means nonwhite and not male, and has nothing to do with differing perspectives.

Darden further works with organizations outside the school in orderto award $20,000 to an “LGBTQ+” candidatewho will promote “LGBTQ+” issues.

Similar programs exist at theschool of medicineto choose candidates based on racial or sexual preferences, including the “Peter Page Scholarship,” which gives $10,000 to “highly motivated gay male students.” (these universities are filled with CIA)

The examples are endless.

It is unclear if anyone in Virginia will hold the university accountable. Thus far, Gov. Glenn Youngkin, R-Va., has not called for the removal of UVA president Jim Ryan, who was one of the primary forces behind injecting DEI in the first place, as The Federalist reported. If Youngkin told the university’s board to fire Ryan, they would almost certainly do it.

(No one should forget Youngkin is a Bush Cheney partner, he’s faking MAGA when it suits him.)

Federalist Editor-In-Chief Mollie Hemingway used her opportunity as the new media journalist in Thursday’s White House press briefing to questionwhether the Trump administration plans to take any action to stop an ongoing effort by lower courtsto impede President Donald Trump’s agenda.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt greeted Hemingway by describing The Federalist as providing “fearless journalism and coverage of politics and culture to millions of readers all over the world.” Her response to Hemingway’s question about whether the White House planned to rein in the “rogue lower court judges” keeping President Donald Trump from executing his presidential goals,however, was evasive.

Hemingway kicked off the first question of the briefing by noting that the corporate media and Democrats attempted to stifle the first Trump administration with the Russia collusion hoax.

“The second Trump administration, to referencewhat you said at the beginning, seems to be subject to an effort to stymie the agenda using rogue lower court judges.

You mentioned that the Supreme Court could and should do something to rein in these lower court judges. Also,Congress could do something about it, but they don’t seem terribly interested in it,”Hemingway continued. “It also seems there’s not much of an actual coordinated effort from this White House to take and tackle this effort from judges, Democrats, and other people using these judges to stymie the agenda.Is there an actual effort by this White House to tackle this issue in a comprehensive way, and if so, what is it?”

Leavitt claimed that there “is an effort by this administration to tackle these rogue judges and the injunctions and the blockades that we have faced in our broken judicial system,” butshe did not specify what that effort is.

“I will get to the heart of your question, and I’m glad that we are addressing this in the room today, because nationwide injunctions ordered against the first Trump administration, Trump 1.0, account for more than half of the injunctions issued in this country since 1963. And President Trump had more injunctions in one full month of office in February than Joe Biden had in three years,” Leavitt said.

But she then rattled off a list of “radical injunctions,” including those interfering in Trump’s plans to deport foreign criminals, defund the castration and mutilation of children, fire federal workers, and more.

Hemingway, undeterred by Leavitt’s list, pressed the press secretary again over what “some people are calling … a judicial coup.”

“You’re saying you’re responding to each and every one of these actions, efforts by these judges to delay or thwart the implementation of the agenda. But is there going to be anything more than that, =or is it just going to let this operation continue even though it could delay everything for years until the presidency is over?==” Hemingway asked.

“The administration is operating under the directive given … from the president that we need to comply with the court’s orders. He’s made that very clear, but we’re going to fight them in court, and we’re going to win on the merits of these cases, because we know we are acting within a president’s legal and executive authorities,” Leavitt concluded, before moving on to another question.

Defeating Russia impossible – German foreign minister

The Ukraine conflict can only end at the negotiating table, Johann Wadephul has said

It has been clear from the very beginning of the Ukraine conflict that Russia cannot be defeated, particularly due to its nuclear status, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has told the SZ newspaper.

Kiev’s Western backers, including top officials in Germany, France, and the UK, as well as the US under former President Joe Biden’s administration,repeatedly stated the intent to inflict a “strategic defeat” on Moscow in the Ukraine conflict, or at least to ensure that it does not emerge victorious. That justification has been used to support continued military assistance to Kiev.

Wadephul admitted on Friday that it was obvious the conflict between Moscow and Kiev can only be resolved in a diplomatic way.

“It was clear from the beginning that this war would most likely end through a negotiated settlement,” Germany’s top diplomat told SZ in a lengthy interview.

“One thing is true: a complete defeat in the sense of a capitulation by nuclear-armed Russia could not have been expected,” the minister stated, adding that “we have now become a little more honest” in this regard. He still maintained that Kiev’s troops have been “successfully defending” against Moscow’s forces, although the Ukrainian military has been losing ground along the entire front over the past several months.

The foreign minister maintained it was important to help Kiev get a “strong negotiating position” at peace talks and claimed that Russia was “threatening” Germany as he justified a planned military buildup and increase in defense expenditures.He also said that relations between Moscow and Berlin could no longer be described as a “clear peace situation.”

Berlin has taken an even more hardline position on Russia under new Chancellor Friedrich Merz. In the weeks since taking office, Merz has lifted range restrictions on Ukrainian strikes with German-supplied missiles and hinted at the possibility of providing Kiev with Taurus missiles, which have a range of 500km and could reach Moscow.

Germany has also announced a new military aid package for Kiev worth €5.2 billion($5.6 billion), which Berlin says would be allocated mostly to long-range weaponry production inside Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reacted to Merz’s statements by saying that Berlin’s “direct involvement in the war is now obvious.”Germany already followed a similar “slippery slope” a couple of times in the last century “down toward its own collapse,” he added.

(This admission means the European countries are responsible for the killing of a million+ Russians and Ukrainians that were sacrificed by them. It basically is a planned war crime by starting a war that Europe only had to fund and never believe Ukraine could win. That’s how much they think of Russian and Ukrainian citizens. Zelensky and Kiev mayor ‘at war’ – The Times

Former world champion boxer Vitaly Klitschko has accused the Ukrainian leader of a crackdown on democracy

(Zelensky has done this from day one, to 1,000s of people, and he said nothing until this week)

Vladimir Zelensky’s longstanding feud with Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko has escalated into “war,”The Times has reported.

The Ukrainian leader has “forced” the former world champion heavyweight boxer – who is said to harbor presidential ambitions – into a “political clinch,” the British daily wrote on Friday.Zelensky is reportedly seizing power from the capital’s civilian government, having taken control of its military administration away from Klitschko in the early months of the conflict.

Ukraine’s anti-corruption bureau(KEK) has made seven arrests among Klitschko’s subordinates, with a further three under investigation, The Times wrote.

In turn, the Kiev mayor has accused the Zelensky administration ofparalyzing the city council with “raids, interrogations, and threatsof fabricated criminal cases” that prevent his team from meeting the legal quorum required for decision-making.

“This is a purge of democratic principles and institutions under the guise of war,” The Times cited Klitschko as saying. “I said once that it smells of authoritarianism in our country. Now it stinks.” (KEK democratic principles! That hasn’t happened for many years)

The dispute is as much personal as it is political, according to the newspaper.

Zelensky made personal attacks against Klitschkoafter the mayor criticized his approach to peace negotiations.

The Kiev mayor hasaccused Zelensky of overreach, playing into fears that his use of wartime powers has come at the expense of democracy, The Times said. Despite his presidential term expiring last May, the Ukrainian leader has repeatedly postponed elections, citing martial law.

Klitschko said thatZelensky is also usurping power from other mayors in the country, but that his celebrity status grants him some protection.

While boxing champion has brushed off allegations against him as mudslinging, arrests in the Kiev administration are real manifestations of corruption in the capital, the Times wrote, citing analysts. Kiev’s flourishing corruption would be “impossible without the city government,” Zelensky-appointed city military administration head Timur Tkachenko told The Times.

Corruption has been a serious and long-standing issue in Ukraine. Top officials in Washington, which has been Kiev’s biggest military sponsor, have expressed concern that US aid has been systematically misappropriated during the Ukraine conflict.

Zelensky ‘playing games’ instead of negotiating – Russian diplomat

Dmitry Polyansky told RT that Kiev isn’t interested in resolving the conflict with Moscow

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky doesn’t want meaningful negotiations and only seeks to prolong the conflict, Russian first deputy envoy to the UN Dmitry Polyansky has told RT.

Russia proposed holding a second round of direct talks in Istanbul on June 2, but Ukraine has yet to formally commit to attending the event.

“They are making every effort to convince [US President Donald Trump] that Russia isn’t interested in peace,” Polyansky said in an interview on Friday. “It is absolutely clear that Ukraine isn’t interested in negotiations. They’re simply playing games. For them, it’s not a serious or meaningful negotiation.”

“Everything Kiev now does and says should be analyzed through [the lens] of Ukraine wanting to prolong the war,” the diplomat added. He suggested that Ukrainian leader VladimirZelensky is motivated by a desire to stay in power and avoid accountability. Zelensky’s five-year presidential term formally expired in May 2024, but he has refused to call new elections, citing martial law.

“It is not in the interest of the Ukrainian president to engage in any meaningful peaceful efforts because they would lead to elections – something he fears the most,” Polyansky said.“He would also be held accountable for the embezzlement of the state budget and Western aid… That’s why he wants to avert this scenario any way he can.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he no longer considers Zelensky a legitimate leader and argued that his status could potentially undermine the peace process. Trump previously branded Zelensky “a dictator without elections,”but has since toned down his criticism.

Russia and Ukraine held their first direct talks in three years in Istanbul on May 16, agreeing to carry out a large prisoner exchange and each present ceasefire terms. The Kremlin has denied accusations of stalling negotiations and said on Wednesday that it was finalizing a memorandum outlining its vision of peace.
