Tired. Oldfag here. Washer drain pump failed last night. Wifeanon gets really bent out of shape when that happens. It is only 7 years old and a high-end unit. Called numerous distributors/dealers across the state including St. Louis and KC. No one has it in stock. 3 days or more for the part. If I had it serviced would likely be 3 weeks and 2 service calls.But…I can have a new washer and dryer delivered today. (4K). Pump shaft rusted through. Have a metal lathe, made a coupler and got it going. Should be good until the replacement arrives. Is consumer America even worth saving?
