pardon, anon has it backwards, it's filamentous in soil, and becomes a single cell yeast in the lungs of a mammal. hundreds of researchers are out there working on their PhD's trying to figure out how these two bits of DNA were fused against all odds. As it evolves sexually, it can use DNA cleaving to add to its strategies.
