(I’m an insurance broker, and have been for 29 years so I get so much joy out of the Senators exposing their sheer corruption. Insurance have been trying to get rid of Insurance brokers and sales forever, so the don’t have to pay commissions, but they couldn’t, so they cut the commission to barely nothing so they can keep all the profit. We used get a small % monthly then they did a flat amt. Example a Family covered on Medical insurance the max commission was 6%, but they cut it years ago to a fixed amount, so if a family’s premium is $700+ a month the broker gets a flat $20 a month, it used to be $42 a month; plus the broker has to service all the needs of the client. When they changed this 10 years ago my income went down $35,000 a year in one day, and I had 4 employees. So I enjoy the hell out of them being exposed as sheisters that they are.)

The fraud at DOD is massive and in prior years they told the auditors, losing 2.4 to 7.0 billion out of their budget not a problem and they tried to get rid and say, it’s not a problem go away for years. The DOD has to have a professional team doing their accounting and audits always. This is not something the DOD can do in-house, Hegseth should be serious since they are getting $1 Trillion dollars. Along with that they need a professional team assessing if the vendors are ripping them off. And btw they need to clear out the hundreds of locations with warehouses of unused equipment, arms etc. Regardless of how old these things are they should be offloaded and or sold at auction. I doubt anyone considers that important. But I don’t have trust a Trillion dollars will be spent well.
