Journalist Cam Higby reported that police were not intervening in the violent riot and blamed it on Democrat Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell.

Prior to the attack, Higby says he received a death threat from an alleged Antifa militant and posted screenshots of the conversation.

“Tyler Hahn threatened to kill me just weeks ago,” Higby wrote.

Higby claimed that it was Hahn and his “lackeys” who attacked him at the riot.

“While SPD was refusing to intervene with the riot tonight, militant Tyler Hahn and his lackeys JUMPED ME,” Higby wrote. “Dealing several blows to my head. I was able to deploy pepper spray and repel them, regaining the belongings they knocked out of my pockets.”

Police officers have used force against the participants of an anti-LGBTQ rally in Moldova’s capital Chisinau, with videos from the scene capturing an Orthodox priest being knocked to the ground, while a man with a child was roughed up by officers and detained.

Tensions escalated after a group of LGBTQ activists staged an unsanctioned march in the center of the city, Sputink Moldova reported on Sunday.

Dozens of people with rainbow flags blocked traffic and paraded through the streets. Although the police had been deployed to the scene in large numbers, they made no effort to stop the march, according to the agency.

They eventually crossed paths with a counter-protest by Orthodox Christians carrying icons and crosses. Violence erupted when the anti-LGBTQ demonstrators tried breaching the police cordons separating them from the other group.

RCMP in Nova Scotia said they’ve used polygraph tests on some of the people interviewed in an investigation into the case of two missing children in that province.

Lilly Sullivan, 6, and Jack Sullivan, 4, were reported missing on May 2. The siblings were said to have wandered off from their home on Gairloch Road in Lansdowne Station, about 140 kilometres northeast of Halifax.

Police conducted a search of the area following the children’s disappearance, but scaled back the search on May 7. Ground and air searches were resumed on May 17, with RCMP saying they were going to focus on specific areas rather than a wider search.

RCMP said they’ve received nearly 500 tips in the case and have interviewed 54 people, some of whom have taken a polygraph test.

“We’re accessing, evaluating and analyzing a significant volume of information from a variety of sources,” investigation lead Cpl. Sandy Matharu said.

“We have a very coordinated and deliberate approach to make certain all information is meticulously scrutinized, prioritized and actioned to ensure nothing is missed.” Continue…

The Canada Border Services Agency said it has seized more than $400,000 worth of cocaine hidden in shoes being transported into Canada at the Pearson International Airport.

The agency said the traveller caught with the 3.5 kilograms of drugs was arriving from Guyana, but told The Epoch Times in an email it could not disclose the individual’s citizenship due to the Privacy Act. The street value of the drugs has been estimated at $437,000.

The cocaine was found using contraband detection technology, according to the email from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). It said that some of the technology used by the agency include ion mobility spectrometry, x-rays, and Narcotic Identification Kits.

The traveller and the drugs were handed over to Ontario RCMP, CBSA said.

Earlier this year, CBSA seized more than $11 million worth of cocaine that was being shipped into Canada.
