Grok was using a 2017 Media Matters opinion piece that reported on 20 TGP articles to smear us as “controversial” and pushing “conspiracy theory.”

The fact that Twitter-X was using Media Matters to censor conservative websites was surprising to us since Elon Musk and Twitter are suing Media Matters for lying to advertisers about the social media giant.

Recently, Grok and X have apparently turned to a new source to determine which media outlets are blocked and censored and which outlets get the green light.

What we found was very disturbing.

Grok and X are now working with the far-left “fact check” website Media Bias-Fact Check website to determine what outlets are trustworthy versus those that have “low credibility.”

One hundred fifty babies have been born after botched abortions in 2023-2024 in Canada, but it is unknown how many survived.

According to a June report by the Discharge Abstract Database (DAD), Canadian doctors reported 150 live births of babies over 20 weeks resulting from abortions from 2023 to 2024.

The DAD, managed by the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), revealed that 112 of the babies, excluding data from Quebec, were between 20 weeks and 24 weeks, the age of viability for an unborn baby.

This means that babies born alive after a botched abortion under 24 weeks were likely left to die as medical interventions would not be able to save them at such a young age.

The records further show that the remaining 11 babies born alive, excluding Quebec numbers, were born between 25 and 29+ weeks. It is not known if these babies were given care or left to die.

In Canada, abortion is legal until the moment of birth, leaving the unborn to the mercy of radical abortion doctors.

According to Section 223(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada, a child becomes a human being “when it has completely proceeded, in a living state, from the body of its mother.”

Once born alive, the infant is legally recognized as a person with the same rights as any other Canadian, including the right to life, liberty, and security under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms

However, the man will not serve his sentence in jail but under house arrest for the first 18 months of his sentence. During the remainer of the sentence, Keenan will be bound by a 6 p.m. curfew, meaning he is free to go about in the community during the day. He will also be on probation for a year after his sentence has run out and must also give police a DNA sample.

According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Keenan’s home was searched in 2018 after information about his social media presence on Tumblr was brought forth. After the search, a total of six images of graphic child pornography of boys between nine and 16 were found on his electronic devices. While listed as attending the 2025 Bilderberg Meetings, Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne would not confirm his participation when questioned in the House of Commons.

“Is the Minister of Finance planning on travelling to the Bilderberg meetings this week using taxpayer dollars?” Conservative MP Dean Allison asked on Tuesday. “I’m very proud to answer questions from my colleague,” replied Minister Champagne, though he proceeded to deflect.

Champagne will attend the Bilderberg meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, from June 12-15, according to the organization's website.

MP Allison questioned the finance minister about prioritizing Bilderberg meetings over budget presentation. “He seems to be very interested [in] where I am going,” replied Champagne.

Cabinet initially stated no budget would be tabled in 2025, having survived a confidence vote on the matter. Prime Minister Mark Carney clarified the budget will be tabled in the fall.

The Prime Minister faced scrutiny regarding his prior involvement with the Bilderberg Group, an exclusive, annual gathering of influential figures that fuels speculation about covert manipulation of global affairs.

Carney, a former Bilderberg steering committee member who claims to be a Liberal outsider, participated in meetings with Henry Kissinger and Jared Kushner, notably at the 2019 Montreux gathering. He also joined Minister Champagne last year in Madrid, Spain.

“Why is Carney’s Finance Minister being so secretive about spending taxpayers’ money to travel to the Bilderberg Conference rather than actually doing his job and tabling a budget?” asked Conservative MP Chris Warkentin on social media.

“This is such an odd exchange,” added MP Aaron Gunn. “Why is he dodging the question?”

Conspiracy theories allege the Bilderberg Group seeks a "New World Order" or global dictatorship, often connected to the UN, WHO, Bohemian Grove, and Club of Rome.

Bilderberg is alleged by some to be a shadow government influencing global affairs, with Mark Carney's ascent to prime minister and his involvement with the World Economic Forum presented as evidence.

Despite claiming to exit international roles like Bilderberg upon taking office, Carney's vague departure has created ambiguity. He also left Brookfield Asset Management in January, shortly before announcing his move to partisan politics.

Saskatchewan will begin purchasing and distributing U.S. liquor again months after removing products from the shelves in response to U.S. tariffs. The move follows a similar decision made by Alberta where the government said it too would be allowing retailers to stock American products again.

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) said the move would allow it to both sell current stock and purchase new supplies for alcohol retailers in the province.

Spokesperson David Morris said it would allow for the sale of products that were taken off the shelf after U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs were announced, adding that it would give consumers choice between buying local or buying U.S. liquor.

Canada has been named the top preferred oil supplier among G7 nations, according to a newly released poll.

When asked to evaluate eight potential suppliers, participants from G7 countries placed Canada among the top three 68 percent of the time, making it the most frequently ranked supplier out of the options available, the Ipsos poll released on June 11 found.

The results come ahead of the summit next week in Alberta’s Kananaskis Country, which will see leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) nations come together to discuss trade and other political and economic topics. The G7 is made up of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Canada edged out Norway to top the poll, while the nordic country trailed by just two points, garnering 66 percent. It was the only country that came close to matching Canada’s popularity as a supplier.

The Middle East was well behind in third place with 47 percent, followed by Mexico at 40 percent, and the United States at 34 percent. Venezuela was sixth with 26 percent, while Russia took seventh place with 18 percent and China took last place with 17 percent.

Canada’s popularity rose 3 percent since the 2023 poll when it tied for first place with Norway. Only two countries experienced major changes between the two polls. Quebec Senator Larry Smith has rejoined the Conservatives’ Senate caucus after switching to the non-affiliated Canadian Senators Group for nearly three years. Smith is the third senator to join the Conservative caucus this month.

Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Conservative Sen. Leo Housakos, welcomed Smith in a June 12 statement.

“Senator Smith is widely respected for his principled approach, deep knowledge of public policy, and tireless work ethic,” Housakos said. “He has always been a strong advocate for Quebec and for common-sense conservative values. We are very pleased to have him back.”

Smith is the third senator to join the Senate Conservative caucus this month. Sen. Mary Jane McCallum of Manitoba joined the Tory caucus on June 10 and Sen. David Richards joined on June 3. Both McCallum and Richards were previously non-affiliated senators who were appointed by former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Smith was first appointed as a Tory senator in 2010 on the advice of then-Prime Minister Stephen Harper. He left the Red Chamber to bid for a seat in the House of Commons but was not successful in winning a seat. Smith was reappointed by Harper in 2011 and served as leader of the Opposition in the Senate from 2017 to 2019.

He left the Conservative caucus in 2022 to join the non-affiliated Canadian Senators Group (CSG). He did not comment publicly on the reason for his departure from the Tory caucus at the time, but later clarified he would still remain a Conservative party member. Major players on the international stage will be descending on Canada next week for the G7 Summit, which is already rich in storylines before even kicking off.

A sizable amount of new baggage exists between some of the leaders, and the event will also feature many fresh faces.

Among the seven-member countries of the group of advanced economies, there has been significant change since last year’s conference, with five leaders having been replaced in elections.

Only French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni are making a return to the summit this year, to be held in Kananasksis, Alberta, from June 15 to 17.

New governments were elected in the United Kingdom and Germany, and Japan’s ruling party changed its leader in an internal vote.

Closer to home, Prime Minister Mark Carney, who was a regular in international circles and organizations before entering politics and winning the recent federal election, will have the task of hosting the summit and ensuring it runs smoothly while attempting to make progress on some key relationships.

The most consequential election in the G7 was that of U.S. President Donald Trump, and it will no doubt be the objective of Carney and other leaders to work on that relationship as a priority. Trump has upended global trade with his tariffs agenda, and shook some international files by taking a different approach from that of his predecessor.

From manufacturing fentanyl precursors, to operating unofficial Chinese police stations on Western soil, to recruiting academics abroad to gain access to foreign technologies needed to advance Beijing’s goals, China’s infiltration of North America runs “deep,” says a Canadian investigative journalist.

The problem of China’s operations in Canada drew renewed attention last month when FBI Director Kash Patel said Beijing is among the hostile regimes working with cartels to smuggle fentanyl into the United States through Canada.

But this issue has long been simmering, investigative journalist Sam Cooper said in a recent interview with Jan Jekielek, host of The Epoch Times program “American Thought Leaders.”

Cooper said Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members and its proxies have for years been involved in “dark alliances” with global Chinese triad actors, some of them “strongly set up” in cities like Toronto, Vancouver, as well as Markham and Richmond, part of the Greater Toronto Area and Metro Vancouver respectively.

“I’ve been following China’s deep infiltration of North America for years,” Cooper said.

The former CEO of the Canadian subsidiary of China’s largest bank says he was instructed to “ignore” Canadian law and “circumvent” Canadian regulators, alleging he was fired for not following these directions.

Lubin Wang, 51, former head of ICBK, the Canadian subsidiary of the state-owned Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), China’s largest bank, filed a lawsuit in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice for wrongful dismissal earlier this year, alleging he was pressured to scale back or abandon efforts to comply with Canadian regulations.

Wang says his efforts to reform ICBK’s operations to comply with recently adopted Canadian legislation—including the Foreign Influence Transparency and Accountability Act, passed in 2024, and a 2023 law expanding federal oversight of regulated institutions—were met with “opposition and obvious discontent” from senior leadership at ICBC, the bank’s parent company in the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

According to the lawsuit, a team of foreign nationals from a “special department located in the PRC” audited the Toronto-based ICBK at the end of October 2024.

While interviewing Wang as part of the audit, the group “went from asking questions to criticizing him for not following ICBC’s instructions, which included certain directives to ignore Canadian law and circumvent Canadian regulators,” the lawsuit says.

It adds that “after criticizing Mr. Wang for failing to follow directions from the PRC, [the audit team] then forcefully instructed Mr. Wang to amend the decision-making process of the bank, as well as some other important business procedures, despite the fact that doing so would place ICBK at odds with Canadian regulatory requirements.” Continue…

There is currently momentum in Canada to grow the economy through major projects, including around energy, but the jury is still out on whether enough can be done to reform regulations to attract the necessary investments.

While investments in Canada’s oil and gas sector fell alongside oil prices since 2014, investments in the sector didn’t bounce back to the same extent as before even after prices recovered.

The new Liberal government under Prime Minister Mark Carney has shown early signs of flexibility toward the oil and gas sector, by including “conventional energy” in its plan to make Canada an “energy superpower” and by tabling legislation aimed at circumventing—in rare cases—the Impact Assessment Act, a controversial federal legislation which places further regulatory requirements on major projects.

On the other hand, Ottawa has said it won’t veto provincial or First Nations‘ objections to pipeline projects, saying it would work by “consensus.” The comment comes in the context of provinces such as British Columbia and Quebec historically opposing pipeline projects sought by provinces such as Alberta and Nova Scotia.

Pro-pipeline premiers such as Danielle Smith and federal Conservative politicians have said that under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the Liberal government enacted laws that impeded the development of resource projects, made it more difficult to export oil to Asia, and increased operating costs for oil companies through carbon pricing.
