Just think how DOGE special employees were exposed to Top Secret matters in many of those agencies, and highly private designs, apparently that happened quite a bit.

Doge was looking for waste fraud and abuse, and government employees shared things with Elon and probably others, that they should have never known.

I think there will be others that had access to not just the budgets and accounting systems. So people that were experts in accounting weren’t hired, but a bunch of advanced tech masters. I suspect more damage might come out in the future. I hope not and they were honorable. Don’t forget many high end tech companies worked with China and other multinational companies.

I’m sure I’m wrong, and hope they were American patriots not interested in making money with some suspect companies or countries. Nah they wouldn’t do something like that.

The West prevented Ukraine from reaching peace in 2022 – top Russian negotiator

The US and UK pressured Kiev to abandon talks with Moscow three years ago, Vladimir Medinsky has said

The Ukraine conflict, now dragging on for more than three years, could have ended within a week if Kiev hadn’t listened to its Western backers, top Russian negotiator and presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky has said.

Speaking to RT’s Rick Sanchez on his show The Sanchez Effect, Medinsky argued that Ukraine had a chance to secure a deal on more favorable terms had it not walked away from negotiations in 2022.

“I’m going to tell you something, Rick, that I’ve probably never said publicly. If Ukraine had wanted it, had been ready, and had been making its own decisions, we could have signed a peace treaty during the first meeting on February 28, 2022. And the terms would have been less harsh than what we’re offering today,”he said.

Medinsky stated that Ukrainian officials initially accepted Russia’s terms but reversed course after consulting with the US and UK. According to him, Ukrainian negotiators told the Russian side: “Our foreign partners don’t support the agreement and will not guarantee aid or security if we sign it.”

“So we’ll fight until either you defeat us or we defeat you,” the Ukrainian delegation reportedly said, according to Medinsky.

David Arakhamia, who led the Ukrainian negotiating team during the 2022 Istanbul talks, later confirmed that then-UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged Kiev not to sign a deal with Russia. However, he denied that Johnson’s opinion influenced Ukraine’s decision. Johnson has denied that he pressured Kiev to withdraw from the talks.

The Ukrainian side became even “less independent” when direct talks resumed in Istanbul last month, Medinsky said, arguing that Kiev’s European allies were pushing it to act against its own interests.

Russia has demanded that Ukraine recognize its new borders, abandon plans to join NATO, and guarantee the rights of the Russian-speaking minority. President Vladimir Putin has said that Ukraine and the West must address the root causes of the conflict before a ceasefire can be reached.

(That certainly wasn’t Zelensky stating that, Z was promised unlimited wealth and power. I hope every Ukrainian finds out what Zelenskyy agreed to when Bidan said Ukraine will fight Russia to the last man and Zelensky agreed.Zelensky should get to hell out of there now. But it’s too late!)

US silent on Russia’s missile moratorium proposal – Lavrov

Moscow has committed itself to not deploying intermediate-range rockets unless Washington does so first

The US has so far ignored Moscow’s call to impose limits on its deployment of intermediate-range missiles, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Speaking at the Future Forum 2050 on Monday, Lavrov stated thatWashington had not responded to an offer Putin had made to establish reciprocal moratoriums after the collapse of the Cold War-era Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.

“It’s already clear they will not react to our call, in the absence of the treaty, to establish two parallel, non-interlinked moratoriums,” he said.

The INF Treaty, signed in 1987 by the US and the Soviet Union, banned land-based ballistic and cruise missiles with ranges between 500 and 5,500 kilometers. Washington withdrew from the deal in 2019, citing alleged violations by Moscow.

Russia has denied the claims, accusing the US of developing the banned missiles, but pledged not to deploy such systems unless the US did so first.

Last year, the US announced that it would field the multipurpose Standard Missile-6 (SM-6), the Tomahawk land-attack cruise missile, and a hypersonic weapon that is still in developmentin “episodic deployments” in Germany starting in 2026. The two systems would have been banned by the INF Treaty, assuming they were deployed on land.

Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskovsignaled that Russia would not be constrained by any limitations if it ends its self-imposed moratorium. “One way or another, Russia will have to respond to NATO’s expansionist and aggressive actions,” he explained.

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov also noted that Moscow would soon be forced to walk back its current policy. “Russia’s restraint in the post-INF period was not appreciated by the US and its allies and was not met with reciprocity,” he said. “We have openly and directly stated that the unilateral moratorium is approaching its logical end.”

He also rebuked the US for an apparent reluctance to alter its course. “We do not see any fundamental change, let alone reversal, in US plansto forward-deploy ground-based intermediate and shorter-range missiles in various regions,” he said. “On the contrary, practical steps taken by the US military have convinced us that such activity will only intensify.”

(Zelensky and spy agencies did this, hence Camp David Principals meetings.)

Ukrainian terror plot targeting Russian military plant busted – FSB

Two suspects smuggled explosive devices into the facility on instructions from Kiev, the agency has said

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) hasdetained two Russian nationals suspected of planning a sabotage attack at a defense industry facility in the Moscow region, the agency announced on Monday.

The suspects allegedly established contacts with representatives of aknown Ukrainian terrorist organizationin Russia, the FSB said.

The men, acting independently, reportedly made contact via the Telegram messaging appand secured jobs at one of Moscow’s defense enterprises to carry out reconnaissance.

They are accused of photographing key infrastructure at the facility and sending the images to their handlers. According to the FSB, the suspects retrieved components from pre-arranged caches and assembled improvised explosive devices (IEDs) with the intent of disrupting operations at the plant.

They were detainedwhile attempting to smuggle the devices onto the premises. Both men have reportedly confessed to carrying out terrorist assignments aimed at halting the plant’s activity.

The devices were reportedly disguised as power banks, one of the suspects said in a video released by the FSB. “I was supposed to place them on two installations, but I only delivered them and was detained afterwards,” he said.

The other suspect said he had beenrecruited “to conduct surveillance and sabotage operations,” including tracking engineering infrastructure and photographing license plates of unknown vehicles. “Then I was ordered to carry out a sabotage act.”

The investigation to determine the full extent of the sabotage plot, collect evidence of potential high treason, and identify those who orchestrated the attack, is ongoing, according to the agency.

Last week, the FSB detained two women accused of working on behalf of Ukraine. One allegedly collected intelligence on air defense systems near the Crimean Bridge for Kiev.

The agency also reported the arrest of a 59-year-old man in Crimea who it has accused of assembling an improvised explosive device, under instructions from Ukrainian handlers.

Hungarians won’t die for Ukraine – Orban

The prime minister has called for the conflict to be solved diplomatically

The people of Hungary have no interest in dying for Kiev despite EU officials wanting to continue the Ukraine conflict, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said.

Budapest has long-opposed Brussels' policy of arming Ukraine in order to prolong the conflict with Russia, despite strong opposition to the policy within the EU.

“I come from a country that borders Ukraine. War-hungry politicians want us to believe that we must continue the war.But I warn you, this war is unwinnable,”Orban said in a speech at a rally of EU conservatives in France on Monday.

Peace must be negotiated, he stressed, stating that “diplomats must retake control from the generals.”

We do not want to die for Ukraine. We don't want our sons to come back in a coffin. We don't want an Afghanistan next door.

Addressing decisions in Brussels and Berlin to divert billions into militarization, Orban said“We do not want Brussels to implement a war economy under the pretext of the conflict.”

Hungary does not want the bloc to take out “giga loans” or turn to the “federalization of the member states' money,” he added.

In March, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen floated a proposal to marshal €800 billion ($914 billion) in debt and tax incentives to re-arm the EU in the face of what she described as a “Russian threat.”

Last month, the European Council formally gave the green light to a €150 billion ($171 billion) borrowing mechanism to fund the bloc’s militarization plan.

Russia has repeatedly brushed off claims that it plans to attack EU countries as “nonsense,” and criticized the bloc's militarization efforts. Moscow has also accused Brussels of prolonging the Ukraine conflict by continuing to supply arms to Kiev.

UK judges sound alarm over AI-fabricated cases

Two lawyers have been warned after submitting arguments generated by artificial intelligence

A judge of the High Court of England and Wales has issued a formal warning to legal professionals, cautioning lawyers thatrelying on artificial intelligence to generate legal arguments containing fictitious case citations may face criminal prosecution.

Victoria Sharp, president of the King’s Bench Division of the High Court, along with fellow judge Jeremy Johnson, reprimanded lawyers involved in two separate cases for apparently relying on AI toolsto draft written arguments that were submitted to the court without verification.

“There are serious implications for the administration of justice and public confidence in the justice system if artificial intelligence is misused,” she said in the ruling on Friday.

The cases arose after lower courts flagged suspected use of AI-generated arguments and witness statements containing false information.

In the ruling by Judge Sharp, the court revealed that one attorney,in a £90 million ($120 million) lawsuit concerning an alleged breach of a financing agreement with Qatar National Bank, cited 18 non-existent cases.

Hamad Al-Haroun, the client in the case, apologized for unintentionally misleading the court with false information generated by publicly available AI tools, accepting personal responsibility and absolving his solicitor, Abid Hussain.

Sharp saidit was “extraordinary that the lawyer was relying on the client for the accuracy of their legal research, rather than the other way around.”

In another case, barrister Sarah Forey cited five fabricated cases in a tenant’s housing claim against the London Borough of Haringey. The lawyer denied intentionally using AI but acknowledged she may have done so inadvertently while conducting online research for the case.

The judge scolded her saying that“Ms Forey could have checked the cases she cited by searching the National Archives’ caselaw website or by going to the law library of her Inn of Court.”

Sharp warned that presenting false material as genuinecould constitute contempt of courtor, in the most serious cases, perverting the course of justice – a criminal offense punishable by up to life imprisonment.

The judges referred the lawyers in both cases to their respective professional regulators but declined to pursue more severe penalties.

High-profile figures and scientists have raised concerns in recent years over the potential dangers posed by AI.

Researchers warn that artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly, with some models reportedly becoming self-aware and rewriting their own code. Palisade Research reported last month that in recent tests, apowerful AI model “sabotaged a shutdown mechanism to prevent itself from being turned off,”raising concerns of a potential real-world AI rebellion.

(Welcome to Hell.)
