Agree with the anon who said that many helos over LA is just a typical day. I check LA helos every day. Also expect there would be Fire activity, CalFire, County Fire Dept. of each affected county, possibly BLM, National Forest, even national guard. It is normal in California for all of those to respond to wildfire. And there is always heavy police over the entire LA extended metrosplash.
