PNWanon, I figure from the camera angle it had to be Saratoga Passage. Deep enough for subs and deep water all the way to Bangor. Relatively narrow which is why it looks like a land launch from the camera location. Had to be sub as any launch from land would have left evidence and explains lack of smoke. By the time it left the surface it was burning hot and lean. I know of the guy that runs that private weather station. Very reliable. He thought it was a missile at first then "changed his mind" a few days later. Pretty sure he was told to change his mind to agree with some bullshit story put out by someone I never heard of. Who told him to "change his mind"?
Actually the camera is on Kitsap centered NNE towards Whidbey Island.
