Update(1118ET): The head of the UN nuclear watchdog IAEA, Rafael Mariano Grossi, has issued fresh remarks before the Security Council on Friday, warning that Israeli strikes on Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant is where the consequences of an attack could be most serious. The active and operating nuclear power plant currently hosts thousands of kilograms of nuclear material. He warns of potential nuclear disaster:

"Countries of the region have reached out directly to me over the past few hours to express their concerns, and I want to make it absolutely and completely clear — in case of an attack on the Bushehr nuclear power plant, a direct hit would result in a very high release of radioactivity," Grossi tells the UN Security Council.

Similarly, a hit that disables the only two lines supplying electrical power to the plant could cause its reactor core to melt, which could result in a high release of radioactivity to the environment.

In their worst case, both scenarios would necessitate protective actions, such as evacuations and sheltering of the population, or the need to take stable iodine with a reach extending to distances from a few to several hundred kilometres. Radiation monitoring would need to cover distances of several hundred kilometres, and food restrictions may need to be implemented.

Any action against the Tehran nuclear research reactor could also have severe consequences, potentially for large areas of the city of Tehran and its inhabitants.

Armed attack on nuclear facilities should never take place and could result in radioactive releases with great consequences within and beyond the boundaries of the state which has been attacked. I, therefore, again call for maximum restraint.

Mozambique’s minister of planning and development has invited Russia and developing nations to collaborate in building a fair world economic system

The statement was made by Mozambique’s minister of planning and development, Salim Vala, during the ‘Business dialogue Russia-Africa’ panel discussion at the 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Thursday.

Vala noted that while Mozambique holds substantial reserves of natural gas, rubies, gold, and coal, its most valuable asset remains its people. He highlighted the importance of unlocking the country’s full economic potential to improve the well-being of its 33.4 million citizens.

“We have a 20-year strategy,” Vala stated, explaining that Mozambique does not want to rely solely on oil and gas. Instead, the focus is on modernizing agriculture and advancing industrialization. “We must work together with Russia, with other African countries, and with other developing nations to create a new financial architecture, to develop enterprises and the private sector.”

Vala called for a shift in global perception, proposing a new narrative of “an Africa that is more educated, healthier, an Africa with the human capital and technologies that can ensure prosperity for its people.”

He added that cooperation with Russia and other African partners is essential for developing both social and economic infrastructure, which can in turn attract greater investment, generate employment, and reduce poverty and inequality.

Earlier in June, Eugenio Alberto Macumbe, the head of the Digital Governance Division at Mozambique’s Information and Communication Technology Regulatory Authority, also underscored the value of Russian engagement in development initiatives.

Speaking to RT, he saidMozambique is actively pursuing digital transformation and artificial intelligence strategies, and stressed the importance of learning from countries like Russia, which he said is “very advanced in this process.”

Multiple people who until early June served on a federal vaccine advisory committee cast votes on vaccines despite receiving or recently receiving money from pharmaceutical companies that stood to be affected by the votes, according to an Epoch Times review.

Dr. Helen Y. Chu, a professor of medicine and allergy and infectious diseases at the University of Washington, reported throughout 2024 receiving funds from Merck, among other pharmaceutical companies. In October 2024, in her first meeting as a member of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), Chu voted in favor of expanding recommendations for vaccination against pneumococcal disease.

Merck manufactures multiple pneumococcal conjugate vaccines.

Chu did not submit any conflict of interest disclosures for the meeting, according to a CDC database.

ACIP advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on vaccines. Members “are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest that arise in the course of ACIP tenure,” according to the CDC’s website. Members who declare perceived or actual conflicts of interest, the site says, “will be asked to recuse themselves from participating in the discussion and decision-making of the issues relating to that interest.”

ACIP rules state that to be considered for appointment to the panel, potential members must resign from any roles with a vaccine manufacturer, with exceptions for service on data monitoring boards and participation in clinical trials. The rules refer to a federal law that says special government employees such as ACIP members are barred by criminal statute “from participating personally and substantially in an official capacity in any particular matter in which, to his knowledge, he or any other person specified in the statute has a financial interest, if the particular matter will have a direct and predictable effect on that interest.”

In recent decades, a growing number of American evangelicals have embraced what’s commonly called Christian Zionism—the belief that Christians are biblically obligated to support the modern political state of Israel. At first glance, this alliance appears rooted in shared values, spiritual heritage, and prophetic fulfillment. Yet when examined under the scrutiny of Scripture, Church History, and moral consistency, Christian Zionism emerges as a theological oxymoron. It is also, arguably, a subtle rejection of the very gospel it claims to uphold.

I. Christian Zionism Is Unbiblical

From a biblical standpoint, Christian Zionism crumbles under New Testament teaching.

1. Abraham’s Promises Are Fulfilled in Christ

Christian Zionists often cite Genesis 12:3—”I will bless those who bless you”—as justification for their unwavering support of Israel. But Paul clarifies in Galatians 3:16 that “the promises were made to Abraham and to his seed… and that seed is Christ.” He further declares in verse 28 that in Christ, “there is neither Jew nor Greek… for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

This means that the Abrahamic covenant is not fulfilled in a secular nation-state but in Christ’s body-the Church. Romans 9:6 states, “Not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.” To reattach God’s promises to ethnic or geopolitical lineage is a form of theological regression.

1. Jesus rejected nationalistic kingdoms

In John 18:36, Jesus says, “My kingdom is not of this world.” His mission was not to restore a physical kingdom of Israel but to inaugurate the Kingdom of God. Christian Zionism inverts this, rooting its eschatology in nationalist politics rather than in the crucified and risen Christ.

1. The Church is the New Israel

The Apostle Peter refers to the Church as “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation” (1 Peter 2:9), a language once reserved for ethnic Israel. Paul calls the Church the “Israel of God” in Galatians 6:16. This was the unanimous view of the early Church Fathers—Augustine, Justin Martyr, and Origen among them. They affirmed supersessionism (or fulfillment theology): that the Church has inherited Israel’s role, not through replacement, but through fulfillment in Christ.

Within months, he received two Letters of Reprimand (LORs), a “Do Not Promote” recommendation that blocked his promotion to Major, and was banned from government buildings, forced to telework.

In October 2021, Zermeno said, the Department of the Air Force introduced a voluntary separation option for those who refused the shot. He applied with his squadron commander’s approval, but base leadership and the Director of the Secretary of the Air Force Personnel Council denied it, citing it was “not in the best interest of the Air Force and Space Force.”

Seven days later, base leadership initiated Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) action against him, a process that lasted 11 months. In January 2023, former Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin rescinded the mandate and ordered the removal of all punishments and correction of records. However, Zermeno’s chain of command did not comply, passing him over for promotion a second time due to his refusal of the shot. Seven months later, he was involuntarily separated, a decision disguised as a “failure to promote” despite documentation showing his refusal as the sole reason.

When President Donald Trump announced the reinstatement of service members separated for refusing the COVID-19 shot, Zermeno admitted he immediately drove to Vandenberg Space Force Base to inquire about reinstatement. But according to him, “Not a single office could provide guidance, leading me to contact the Air Force’s Total Force Service Center, which handles Space Force matters.”

“They also reported having ‘zero guidance’ from the Department of Defense but opened a ‘ticket’ to follow up, [and] for two months, weekly calls yielded the same response,” he shared.

Their adult daughter, Hope, was present and was also threatened by the shooter. Senator Hoffman is in critical but stable condition; Yvette Hoffman is in stable condition, as well. But now in recovery from their injuries, they are releasing the following statement for the record:

Because we have been hospitalized and receiving medical care, we have not been able to provide much information regarding the horrible circumstances of June 14th, but would now like to provide a statement offering more clarity of what happened.

After having attended the Humphrey Mondale dinner on Friday, June 13th, we returned to our home, joined there by our adult daughter, Hope. At approximately 2:00 a.m., we were all awakened by the sounds of pounding on the front door and shouts of someone seeking entry, identifying himself as a police officer. When the door was opened, all three of us were in the entryway. John initially lunged at the gunman as the weapon was pointed directly at him, getting struck nine times. As John fell, Yvette reached out to push the man and shut the door, succeeding before she was also hit eight times by gunfire. Hope then rushed to shut the door and secured the lock; she got to the phone and shared with the 911 operator that Senator John Hoffman had been shot in his home. Her brave actions and quick thinking triggered the notice to public safety officials that a politically-motivated act was potentially underway.

As we continue to receive medical care, we are deeply grateful for those providers, for the first responders and for all those in law enforcement who worked so quickly, professionally and selflessly to safeguard others and to apprehend the shooter, starting with our own

officers in Champlin and Brooklyn Park.

We are heartbroken to know that our friends Melissa and Mark Hortman were assassinated. Our daughter Hope and Sophie Hortman went to school together, and we know that they – along with Colin Hortman – will have each other’s support as we all work through the devastating consequences of that horrific night. According to a report from French outlet The Daily News, the case sounds alarming about surging cases of “turbo cancer” and related deaths following mRNA injections.

The complaint was filed over the death of a French psychiatric nurse who had developed a rapidly spreading metastatic pancreatic cancer.

It calls for a full investigation into possible poisoning, medical malpractice, failure to obtain informed consent, and human experimentation without authorization.

The complaint was submitted on June 18, 2025, to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
