Researchers found 13 fetal losses—four more than the nine expected—for every 100 pregnant women who received a COVID-19 vaccine during weeks eight to 13 in pregnancy, according to the study, which was published as a preprint on the medRxiv server.

Most people in Israel, including pregnant women, received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

Pfizer did not respond by publication time to a request for comment.

The team behind the study includes Retsef Levi, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology researcher who was recently named to the committee that advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on vaccines, and Dr. Tracy Hoeg, who works for the Food and Drug Administration.

The researchers analyzed electronic health records from Maccabi Healthcare Services, one of four organizations that provide health care to Israelis. They looked at 226,395 pregnancies that occurred between March 1, 2016, and Feb. 28, 2022. The primary analysis looked at fetal loss for pregnant women after dose one or dose three of a COVID-19 vaccine, with fetal loss including miscarriage, abortion, and stillbirth.

The researchers came up with an expected number of fetal losses based on a model that drew from data before the COVID-19 pandemic, then compared the expected number of fetal losses with those that occurred from week eight of pregnancy onward.

They identified 13,214 fetal losses after the COVID-19 pandemic started, compared with 12,846 fetal losses in the reference period, finding that women who received a COVID-19 vaccine during weeks eight to 13 in pregnancy experienced a higher-than-expected number of fetal losses.

There’s constant talk in the West “about how they are going to steal our money,” Putin said at the Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk on Thursday. “As soon as it happens, the shift toward regional payment systems will accelerate and undoubtedly become irreversible,” he said, adding that ultimately that would be a good thing for the global economy.

“Maybe it’s even worth paying the price for that,” the president argued.

Putin added upon further reflection that the term “theft” was insufficient. “Theft is the secretive taking of property – this is open. This is robbery,” he said.

“We’re determined to continue strengthening our own financial and settlement instruments in this regard,” Putin stressed.

The frozen funds have already accrued billions of euros in interest, $1.63 billion of which Euroclear transferred to Kiev last July to back a $50 billion loan for Ukraine provided by the G7.

Brussels is currently discussing ways to extract more revenue from the immobilized assets without violating international legal norms. The International Monetary Fund has warned that outright seizure could damage global trust in Western financial institutions.

Discussions among member states about confiscating the assets have been ongoing for more than three years without any resolution.

Moscow has condemned the freezing of its assets and has hinted at possible retaliatory measures against Western investments and property in Russia.

The same data shows 1,693 arrests for sexual assault convictions. That’s 11% of the 15,811 ICE had on its non-detained docket. These aren’t unknown suspects. These are individuals already convicted. ICE knows who they are. They’re not in custody.

In Florida, the policy is bleeding into the foster system. A 17-year-old Honduran boy was removed from his foster home in Pensacola and handed to ICE. The Florida Department of Children and Families confirmed the transfer. The teen had been in the care of the Office of Refugee Resettlement. He was intercepted by law enforcement after leaving his placement.

The White House has not denied the practice. A spokesperson said the administration is conducting “welfare checks” to ensure migrant children are not being exploited. The statement did not address the removals directly.

The broader operation is expanding. ICE is now targeting families with children who have final deportation orders. Raids are underway in multiple states. Legal groups say warrants are being prepared for homes with minors.

The administration has reopened the Dilley family detention center in Texas. It holds up to 2,400 people. It was shut down under Biden. It’s now back online.

Christopher Wray referred to FBI by Oversight Project for lying to congress

The Oversight Project has submitted a criminal referral to the Department of Justice and the FBI, requesting that federal authorities investigate former FBI Director Christopher Wray for allegedly making false and misleading statements to Congress during his time in office.

The statements noted by the Oversight Project were made on September 24, 2020; March 2, 2021; July 12, 2023; and December 5, 2023. The comments were in relation to voter fraud and his agency targeting Catholic Americans.

In a September 2020 hearing before the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee," Wray said that "we have not seen historically any kind of coordinated national voter fraud effort in a major election whether it’s by mail or otherwise."

He said during the March 2021 hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, "We are not aware of any widespread evidence of voter fraud, much less that would have affected the outcome in the Presidential election."

This comes after current FBI Director Kash Patel handed over an FBI intelligence report dated August 2020 to Congress that raised concerns over China mass-producing fake US driver’s licenses to fraudulently cast mail-in ballots for then-candidate Joe Biden. Around 20,000 counterfeit driver’s licenses had been seized by Border Patrol on August 5, 2020.

Patel and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said in a joint statement on Tuesday, "Based on our continued review and production of FBI documents related to the CCP’s plot to interfere in the 2020 US Presidential election, previous FBI leadership chose to play politics and withhold key information from the American people – exposing the weaponization of law enforcement for political purposes during the height of the 2020 election season."

The Oversight Project also noted testimony from then-Deputy Assistant Director for Counterterrorism at the FBI Nikki Floris from October 2019, in which she said, "[m]ake no mistake, China is aggressively pursuing foreign influence operations," and said that the FBI was focusing on countering these threats.

Floris "routinely, if not daily, briefed FBI Director Christopher Wray on threats to the integrity of the 2020 election," the Oversight Project wrote.

"Ultimately, Wray was the FBI Director. He was briefed constantly by Floris on this specific topic, and he was certainly aware this topic was a matter of burning national interest and would be raised in any oversight hearing," they later added, writing that statements made in a 2020 and 2023 hearing showed that Wray was aware of the threats that China posted to the US, including in relation to elections.

The Oversight Project also highlighted the FBI’s targeting of Catholic Americans with a memo released that identified them as possible domestic terrorists.

Wray said during a July 2023 hearing when asked about an FBI intelligence memorandum that listed Catholic Americans as potential domestic threats, "Well, what I can tell you is you're referring to the Richmond product which is a single product by a single field office which as soon as I found out about it I was aghast and ordered it withdrawn and removed from FBI systems."

He said in a December 2023 Senate Judiciary hearing, "This notion that the other field offices were involved is a garble and let me explain why I say that. The only involvement of the two other field offices was the Richmond authors of the product included two sentences or thereabouts references each of these other office’s cases."

Senator Chuck Grassley said earlier in June, "There wasn’t just one FBI document that used biased anti-Catholic sources, but over a dozen." He found that the Richmond memo had been distributed to over 1,000 FBI agents nationwide before it was publicly disclosed.

The Oversight Project wrote, "Director Wray’s testimony was inaccurate not only because it failed to reveal the scope of the memo’s production and dissemination, but also because it failed to reveal the existence of a second, draft product on the same topic intended for external distribution to the whole FBI."
