Iran moved its enriched uranium before US strikes – Hersh
More than 200kg of uranium enriched to 60% are “missing,” according to the journalist
Last month’s US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities failed to hit the country’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh has claimed, citing US officials.
The attack, which involved seven US B-2 ‘Spirit’ bombers carrying 30,000-pound bunker busters, was not even expected to “obliterate” the Iranian nuclear program, one of the journalist’s sources admitted.
“The centrifuges may have survived and 400 pounds of 60% enriched uranium are missing,”one of the officials said, adding that the US bombs “could not be assured to penetrate the centrifuge chamber . . . too deep.”
The lack of radioactivity at the targeted Iranian nuclear sites– specifically Fordow and Isfahan – following the attacksuggest that the enriched uranium stockpile had been moved ahead of time, one US official familiar with the matter said. Fordow, an underground complex built deep inside a mountain that many believed housed the stockpiles, was a particular focus of the attack.
The US officials cited by Hershnevertheless believe that the location of the stockpile and its fate are “irrelevant”because of theserious damage the strikeallegedly dealt to another Iranian nuclear site near the city of Isfahan.
The goal of the operation was to “prevent the Iranians from building a nuclear weapon in the near term– a year or so – with the hope they would not try again,” a US official told Hersh. This could translate into “a couple of years of respite and uncertain future,” the official added.
Following the strikes, US President Donald Trump claimed that the attack “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program. CIA Director John Ratcliffe also told lawmakers that several key sites had been completely destroyed and would take years to rebuild.
However, interceptedcommunications suggested that Tehran had expected a worse impact from the strikesand that the real damage was limited, the Washington Post reported.
The strikes were part of a coordinated American-Israeli military campaign launched in mid-June. The Israel Defense Force bombed Iranian targets, claiming that Tehran was close to being able to build a nuclear weapon.
Hersh believes that Israel was the “immediate beneficiary” of the US strike. West Jerusalem does not officially acknowledge possessing nuclear weapons. The Jewish State may still have up to 90 nuclear warheadsat its disposal, according to a recent report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).

Israel covered up Iranian hits on military sites – Telegraph
Successful missile attacks on air bases, a logistics hub, and an intelligence center were censored, the outlet claims
Israel concealed thatIranian missiles hit several key military sitesacross the country during the recent 12-day war, The Telegraph reported on Saturday, citing radar data.
The data, provided to the British paper by Oregon State University researcherswho track bomb damage using satellite radar, indicates thatsix Iranian missiles hit five military facilitiesin the north, south, and center of Israel, including a major air base, an intelligence gathering center, and a logistics base. The extent of the reported damage is unclear.
However, the hits werenot publicly reported due to heavy military censorship, according to the report. When pressed on the issue, the Israel Defense Forces, declined to comment, only saying that “all relevant units maintained functional continuity throughout the operation.”
Analysis cited by The Telegraphsuggests that Israeli and US air defenses generally performed well, intercepting most of the incoming fire, although the share of missiles that penetrated through Israeli defenses rose to about 16% by the seventh day. The paper noted that this could have been linked with Israeli attempts to conserve ammunition, improved tactics by Iran, or the deployment of more advanced and harder-to-intercept weaponry.
The conflict began on June 13 when Israel launched airstrikes targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, top Iranian commanders, and military sites, triggering retaliation by Tehran.Israeli officials reported 29 deaths and over 3,200 injuries, while Iran estimated over 900 deaths and 4,700 injuries.
The US eventually joined the conflict by deploying heavy bombers against key Iranian nuclear sites. After a ceasefire was reached, both sides proclaimed victory.
The hostilities started after Iran declined a US demand to abandon its enrichment capabilities, which Washington believes could enable Tehran to create nuclear weapons. Iran has denied plans to create an atomic weapon, insisting that its nuclear program only serves peaceful purposes.
(Why is it that this war between Israel, Israel have hardly any civilians killed? You’d imagine that there were a lot more dead. Are they not announcing the deaths intentionally?)

US defense secretary personally halted weapons to Ukraine – NBC
Pete Hegseth suspended military aid to Kiev without informing the State Department or allies, the outlet claims
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth suspended shipments of weapons to Ukraine on his own accorddespite a military review claiming that the aid would not endanger US readiness, NBC News has claimed. The decision was reportedly made without consulting lawmakers or foreign partners.
Reports of a halt in US military aid to Ukraine emerged earlier this week. US news outlets claimed that the items affected included Patriot missile systems, artillery shells, GMLRS rockets, and other munitions. Washington’s envoy to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, has since confirmed the move, attributing it to concerns that continued military assistance to Kiev could deplete key munitions needed for US forces.
However, NBC reported on Friday, citing three unnamed sources, that a review by senior military officers had found that American stockpiles are not yet beyond critical minimums. The outlet claimed that Hegseth nevertheless halted the shipments in a “unilateral step,”marking the third time he has done so since taking office. The previous suspensions were reversed following pushback from Congress.
NBC further suggested that none of the suspensions were coordinated in advance with lawmakers or the administration.Rep. Adam Smith, the top Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee, told the outlet that the justification based on readiness concerns was “disingenuous,” suggesting that the decision reflected a broader agenda within the White House to end US aid to Ukraine.
Pentagon spokesmanSean Parnell has described the halt as part of a “capability review,”stating on Wednesday that the US cannot “give weapons to everybody all around the world.”
The White House has defended the pause, citing an ongoing Defense Department review. At the same time, US President Donald Trump also told reporters on Thursday that the US is still “giving weapons” to Ukraine, but must also ensure its own military needs are met.
Military experts have noted in statements to the German tabloid Bild that if weapon shipments to Ukraine stop, Kiev could run out of key ammunition stocks by late summer. The halt could leave the Ukrainian military struggling to intercept Russian strike drones and make Kiev’s US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers “virtually useless.”
Moscow has welcomed the suspension of military aid to Kiev. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has suggested that the freeze could speed up the end of the conflict. “The fewer missiles that arrive in Ukraine from abroad, the closer the special military operation is to ending,” Peskov said.
Russia has long condemned Western arms shipments to Ukraine, arguing they only prolong the conflict without changing its outcome and increase the risk of escalation.
(The media, DOD and Pentagon lefties still trying to get Hegseth out, it won’t work.)

Poland unhappy with Trump-Putin dialogue after Kiev strike
Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has urged the US to renew military aid to Ukraine after the latest Russian airstrikes
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has appealed to US President Donald Trump to resume military aid to Ukraine, complaining that a recent Russian airstrike caused damage to the Polish Embassy compound in Kiev.
The Russian military said its long-range strikes overnight were in response to “terrorist attacks by the Kiev regime.” Targets included industrial facilities involved in military drone and instrument production in Kiev, an airfield, and an oil refinery, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
“Please restore supplies of anti-aircraft ammunition to Ukraine and impose tough new sanctions on the aggressor,”Sikorski wrote on X on Friday, addressing Trump. He also accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of “mocking”America’s peace initiatives.
In a separate post in Polish,Sikorski confirmed that no one was injured in the incident. Moscow says it does not target non-military targets, while attributing collateral damage to Ukraine’s air defenses and Kiev’s alleged propensity to station military assets in civilian areas.
The Ukrainian military reported that Russia launched over 330 drones in what was described as the single largest drone offensive to date. With the addition of missile strikes, the total number of projectiles totaled around 550, Air Force spokesperson Yury Ignat said.
While the US has paused certain weapons deliveries to Ukraine to preserve its own strategic reserves, Trump clarified on Thursday that there has not been a complete freeze on military aid.
That day, Trump and Putin held a phone discussion, which the US president later characterized as disappointing due to a lack of progress toward a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
Kiev and its Western backers, including Poland, continue to press Washington to expand the sanctions on Russia and boost military support for Ukraine. They have urged Trump to take the lead instead of shifting the burden onto NATO’s European members. One of their key demands is that Moscow agree to an unconditional ceasefire of at least one month.
Russia has rejected the idea, describing it as an attempt to allow Ukrainian forces to regroup. During peace talks in Istanbul last month, Moscow proposed a conditional truce within two possible frameworks: One requiring Ukraine to withdrawal from all Russian territories, and the other mandating a halt to Ukrainian mobilization and the suspension of Western military aid. Both were rejected.
(Why do these countries think they can decide what the President of the U.S. can do. He’s already told the world he wants this war over with. Poland is only chiming in because Poland wants first dibs on territory they believe Ukraine stole from them.Poland is the biggest beneficiary of U.S. military aid, they should STFU.)
