Anyone think these rounds of “historic 1,000 year flooding events” in the last 2-3 years are a bit snoopy? There have been several, but the ones that come to mind are the East Ky Flood in 2022, Helene (western NC) in 2024, now In TX. These “storms” keep regenerating over a very concentrated spot. Oddly enough they have all dumped similar amounts of rain in a short amount of time. 10-15” of rain in a short period, and all have been “overnight” as well. Time to dig a bit more to see if there is any similarities.
