If they do get flagged for a different reason, or need additional screening, that may be required of them, but they won't be specifically identified as someone who has to remove their shoes.

Secretary Noem: Every rule is being evaluated…with removing your technology, the liquids, your belts, your coats, your shoes; all of them are being evaluated and looked at, but it can only be accomplished if we have the adequate technology to make sure we're doing this safely and still keeping our systems hardened against those who would wish to perpetuate criminal activity against our airlines, or those who would travel in our airways.
