>In 1971 the federal minimum wage was $1.60 per hour

>

>That’s 1.82 oz of gold per week in 40 hours

2 ounces of gold a week minimum wage

I find that VERY hard to believe.

<In 1971, the price of gold was officially fixed at $42.22 per ounce, but the market price was around $70 per ounce

OK so closer to 1oz of gold a week, minimum wage. $100k+ in today's money

I STILL find that very hard to believe

Are we sure that isn't just a matrix glitch. the 70s is full of them

I understand that's the default way of thinking about it.

I just don't really believe the idea that farmhands were making 4 pounds of gold a year even if that's what the numbers say.

I kind of add 51% of that to my matrix pile.

The other 49% says 'maybe I guess'

1.2GHz is midband 5G

12.5GHz is close to mmwave highband

12.5GHz is more biologically active

dangerous at high doses

I assume that pulse width modulation makes the broadcasted audio more painful due to the sharp change (step function). Amplitude dependent though.
