While residents in Keighley and Ilkley are hit with a 10% council tax hike, Bradford Council are offering half-price sailing, free swimming, theatre discounts and more to asylum seekers through their “Leisure Card” scheme.
The Leisure Card is only otherwise available to Pensioners, students, young people, or those on benefits.
Yet again, our communities are paying more and getting less and Bradford Council’s priorities are fundamentally broken.
