for some reason this company can't seem to take grow even after 5 years (see 5 year graph)
personally i wouldn't mess with it
if i did mess with it i would monitor it by buying 1 share
when share price drops huge percentage buy it
if 1 share is up then it prolly won't grow much moar based on its graph
also because it is less than 2 dollars its prolly considered pink sheet stocks which gets little respect and have to be bought thru limit-orders ime
if you did want to invest long term i would buy a minimal amount (not moar than would hurt you if lost) to start with and monitor closely
i would buy moar if it reaches $5 month average, and mayb moar if it reaches a $10 month average
again i would mess with it personally, there are better safer stock imo

NEGG (bubble warning, NEGG was good but it is rising sharply these days so be careful)
buy 1 share as your monitor
when that share is down double digits buy it and be ready to sell it next day or 2 (when it peaks, use 1 month graph to see where it peaks on average)
even if you miss the peak, wait for the next peak which should come along soon (1 to 2 weeks)
if you want long term growth stocks then perhaps etfs are a better path, slow growth but also slow to lose money so you have time to pull your money if nec (but if you are young that is playing too safe imo)
if you don't want to move stock around everyday use 6 months graph to find stock the will grow steady such as:
LOW
UPS
look at there 6 months graph and notice its like a valley but the right side of the valley is lower which could mean it will rise at least back to it original price on the left side of the valley
if the stock gets back to original price 6 months ago then it becomes a growth stock which could continue to yield growth but prolly slower
so when the valley is complete that is a good time to sell and look for another similar investment
NVDA is a good example of how a stock can grow way beyond the 'valley'

if i were excited about MVIS i might also be excited about 'automakers'
Ford hasn't moved much and GM was a bit slow to grow ime
i still try to buy F and GM to support them but it moves small
there are other automakers to look into but i was trying to stay American and Japan cuz of their 550 billion investment (but this is buying for emotional reasons which is not wise but supporting American companies is good imo, if American companies can overcome other companies then its win win)
