The policy promises a full refund, with interest, only if travelers exit the country on time and via designated ports. Otherwise, the bond is forfeited to the Treasury, ostensibly to offset illegal-immigration enforcement costs.

that three men charged w/ murdering a man at a Motel 6 in Garland, TX in June are all Venezuelan aliens who were released into the US by the Biden administration. Two came in via the CBP One cell phone app and are also charged w/ holding a woman at gunpoint, sexually assaulting her, & robbing her at a different hotel the same day.
Yosguar Aponte-Jimenez crossed into the US illegally on 5/3/2023 and was released into the US by the Biden administration. He is charged w/ capital murder.
Jose Trivino-Cruz was released into the US by the Biden administration via the CBP One cell phone app on 10/9/2024. He is charged w/ capital murder, aggravated robbery, and indecent assault.
Jesus Bellorin-Guzman was released into the US by the Biden administration via the CBP One cell phone app on 1/6/2025, just two weeks before Trump took office. He is now charged w/ capital murder and aggravated robbery.
DHS says Jimenez confessed to more than 25 robberies, and Trivino-Cruz admitted to two additional robberies that day.
The murder victim has been ID'd as 48-year-old Santiago Lopez Morales, who was shot and killed at the Motel 6 - allegedly at the hands of these three Venezuelan men.
ICE has placed a detainer on all three suspects.

An undercover operation in Florida, labeled "Operation Seek and Ye Shall Find Out," led to the arrests of 48 men, including 6 illegal aliens. The sting against child sex predators lasted for six days in Marion County, Florida. The report from the Marion County Sheriff's Office said the men used various social media platforms, including Snapchat and dating apps, to meet children and to coordinate physical meetings. Undercover officers interacted with the men, who believed they were communicating with 13-15 year old children. The alleged predators possessed condoms, guns, alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, and other drugs at the time of their arrests, according to investigators.

The bill is so crazy, even I didn’t believe the 1st reports. Here’s the shocking details every parent should be concerned about.
A non-parent adult (such as a friend, teacher, mentor, neighbor, or coach) can self-declare they have a "family-like or mentoring relationship" with the child or child’s family.
That person can then sign an affidavit under penalty of perjury stating the child lives with them and they are acting as the caregiver.
The affidavit does not require a parent’s signature or court approval.
It grants that person legal authority to:
Enroll the child in school
Consent to medical, dental, and mental health treatment
Providers (schools, doctors, etc.) who rely on the affidavit are protected from liability, even if the parent later objects — unless the provider had actual knowledge the affidavit was invalid.

There is NO FEMA requirement tied to Israel in any current NOFO. No states have lost funding, and no new conditions have been imposed.
FEMA grants remain governed by existing law and policy and not political litmus tests.
