This deal is to stop the killing. Think supernaturally. The whole world is beginning a metamorphosis and wars and their killing will be ended. This is the optimal way to save the most lives by stopping the killing right now. If it was old school geopolitical long game, you'd let Russia roll into Kiev and sort it out. Things are changing and doing so before the eyes of the world. The future is soon upon us and this will seem prescient then. Until then, trust the plan.
