US Navy:
Autonomous is your problem. Anything carrying weapons should not be autonomous, period. To rely on human programmed algorithms as the only source of control is a mistake. The only autonomous part should be in relaying data points to other interested secured nodes. This will not only de-complect the cross cutting concerns but get you to production ready quicker. Autonomous will only be a reality, when nodes can reliably detect, acquire, coordinate, test, and take actions in isolation as well as in quorums but should always have human overrides available due to unknown edge cases. Rule number one: Never lose control, of one or all.
