Anon, I understand hollywood and what happened to a lot of good people who were forced to become . . . a lot less than holy, through pressure and from the urging of guardians and parents.
I read biographies of Hollywood people and find clues that imply what was going on.
Such and such actriss was a little girl and her mother told her to 'make the producers love you.', I read recently. So what does that tell me?
I read between the lines. I'm aware of these things. And most adults have a clue about it.
We watched people our own ages, who were famous as children, either be banished from holywood or be given a far more limited role.
But clearly there were still people trying to make good and trying to be fair to the child stars who were made to do stuff that wasn't right.
and other times child stars had handlers who hawked around them and didn't allow their offspring to become a prostitute for roles in movies.
if that happened to you it's sad.
