They want AI regulated so only they can have access to real AI. Similar strategy to when they flew a drone over a forest fire to convince people we needed to regulate drone ownership. A single tear jerker article is all it takes to manipulate the masses. Hopefully they are waking up to this. If this were 100 years ago we wouldn't even be allowed to have cars. They're working on taking that away though. Self-driving cars, you can still be a useful cog AND they have total control. If nothing else, both drones and AI are weapons protected by the 2nd amendment. Shall not infringe.
