They had Jaw Breakers back in the day, But they had big gum balls that looked just like them. You had to put a coin in a slot and twist a handle and it would fall down into a little catch thing then you lift up the cover of the hatch thing and get your Jaw Breaker or large gum ball. You never knew what color you were going to get. I always wondered what it would be lake to earn a living by owning those vending machines. The grass was greener back then. I remember when they first started putting safety caps on milk. I think it started with asprin.
