An organization representing hemophiliacs exposed to HIV and hepatitis C when they used a blood product produced by Big Pharma, called the Committee of 10,000 (COTT), took the four Big Pharmas all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, where Big Pharma was found innocent by way of the fact they would have been bankrupted otherwise.
I just googled "Committee of 10,000" and it looks like the name has been co-opted a number of different places to bury its origins.
