They already have run out of sanity. They have become rabid animals. There is no reasoning with a rabid animal, it's mind is too far gone. It is a danger to itself and everything around it. You can't allow it to roam free. The only two choices we have are quarantine or destruction.
I hate to say it but it will come down to those two choices because they will force the issue. Hope for the best but make sure you are prepared for the worst.
